The official marketing push will start tomorrow the 11th for the Playstation Move. My cousin got a job as a sales rep for Sony and they said they'll start demoing the Move tom in BB's across the country so if you guys wanna try it out just head to your nearest BB.

NA Bundle has been leaked from a Best Buy in Michigan who have put them on the shelves early and people have been buying them. Only a few days to go till official launch though.

I will wait untill I can spend $100 comfortably, which is not at the moment. games interested in:

Resident Evil 5 Gold with move support(Never played RE5)
Time Crisis Razing Storm

The rest is wait and see but I'm in no rush to get it.

This is a bit much, why play with this if you can just hit a real person with these things? I have a bad feeling about the peripherals that are going to flood the market. http://www.gamestop.com/Catalog/ProductDetails.aspx?Product_ID=83983(GameStopBase)

The E3 Trailer, its old but did not see it in this thread.

Looking at the launch titles i will wait to buy it, looks interesting though, especially if sony is gonna implement it in some more 'hardcore' games. Hope it is as precise as they say it is.

Looks like it's time for some more accidental TV smashing time. One of my relatives nearly smashed their plasma HDTV with a Wii remote(left a dent on the screen). That's the reason why they provide the straps to attach the controller to your wrists.

Personally I would wait and see what titles will support the move.

I feel the same way has most here, I want to see that 'killer game' that makes use of the Move before I consider it. I bet at TGS some new hardcore games will be annouced that use it.

Got my PS3 Slim / Move bundle today. :)

It took about two hours to transfer all my data from the old fat PS3 to the new slim one, but after that it was time to rock&roll.

The Move works amazingly well. I think I should buy some Move games now (only have the demo disc) and not wait for GT5 to try the head tracking. :dopey:

I will get my bundle hopefully towmorrow, i also need to do the transfer...

the ps store has some more demos ;)

Already there are a couple of crap 'party' game collections out there. This is the sort of thing that plagued the Wii's gaming library in abundance. It is what the PS3 doesn't need.
I still say the Sixaxis controller was under-used as a motion controll device. Just look at the PSN game High Velocity Bowling and the various side games in GTA4 to see how well it works when put in the right hands. Even Call Of Duty 3 managed to take a not-half-bad attempt during it's gameplay.

totally agree.
I was good in resistance and even better in heavently sword. But nowadays it lacks present in games

I also agree, they just left it for dead when it really could have been used in innovative ways. Some developers made a decent go of it and I used it on GRAW2 for diving, ducking and rolling and it was quite responsive. Super Rub a Dub was also great with it.

Seeing as the SIXAXIS technology is still built into every controller I would love to see if it can be integrated into Playstation Move, maybe as a second control device (instead of the nunchuck). Its got the accelerometers in it so they might as well make use of them!

I really wanted SIXAXIS steering in GT5 just for fun. I cant really afford or have the space for a proper wheel. I don't think any new game uses SIXAXIS at all now, its a shame.

It does.

The 'nunchuck' for Move is totally optional, used SIXAXIS as a second controller when playing the Heavy Rain Move demo last night.

My first Move controller turned up yesterday and despite being snowed under with work I had a quick go and its impressive. Yes it is like the Wii, but much, much more responsive and the depth sensing works amazingly well.

Tumble is fun and Flight Controller HD stunning (a must for £3.99 even with the standard controller), now need my second Move controller and copy of Sports Champions to arrive.

Yes but does it actually use the sensors in it?, or is it just using the buttons.

I've not yet played anything that would allow me to test that, but as far as I am aware it can be used instead of the 'nunchuck' so I would expect that to include the sensors as well as the buttons.

OK Sports Champions + two Move controllers = Excellent Archery fun.

Disc golf is great as well, that however was all I have had a chance to try before the kids took over.

Scaff

Bought two games today, TW PGA Tour '11 and Sports champions. Played a few holes with Tiger and that is a lot of fun, not easy though. I do have my golf license in real life and putting in the game is just as hard as in real life. Well done! The other game is Sports Champions and I played the first level for archery. Too easy to win, but a lot of fun nontheless.
So far I'm impressed with the Move. It feels solid, seems acurate and shouts out for more game play. Can't wait for the first 1st person shooter to support the Move (will have to wait until 2011 for Killzone 3, I'm afraid).

To the dungeon with the kids they can be released only while Scaff's at work!💡

Joie de vivre! : Deutsche Land, not Duetsche Land ;) Lalalala

So i also got my 320bg ps3 move pack + nav controller friday.
First before going to work i starting backing up my fatty, estimated time 5h :S , crazy

When i got back from work i started to transfer data from the fatty to the skinny.
first 2 lan cables didn't work. I already began to stress. took a 3rd cable. restarted all the equipement and then i worked.
Estimated time 1h35. Thought nice Gigalan :)
But eventually it got stuck, or at least i thought so. For some time it took a good 15 min for 1%. Again crazy.
After 4 hours it was done.
Then i looked at the fatty and all data was still there. I thought everything that would be moved would be deleted. So my backup was futile. Dang it big.
What an odyssee

now about the move :)
Hell is that cool.
I had the whole weekend people over at my place and they didn't want to go home because of move :D
Demo of heavy rain is excellent, got move very well integrated. Looking forward to 22nd.
Sport champions demo is also great fun, but today i shall get my full game.
The shoot is passable but more aimed at kids, but still great fun.
Start the party, nah not my game. Also my camera jigged a lot because i had 2 extension usb cables between ps3 and the cam. Removed 1 now i works, but the game is still nah, but for kiddies it surly is great.
Beat sketcher: funny but not more than the demo
Racket sport: wii shovelware but still great fun.
Tumble: bought it and that game is so cool, especially for 2 players. Had a blast with it the weekend
flight controller is also a lot of fun, and it doesn't cost too much
PGA is excellent. The demo made me thinking in buying the whole game.

I think that is most of the move games i played so far. All great and move is really excellent. Don't regret my purchase at all.
1:1 movement with a stunning accuracy

the nav controller also comes in handy, but only in games that need it. So far only needed for heavy rain.
Now i can't wait for Heavy rain, gonna replay the whole game and try to get the platinium (waited for move to do this). And MAG should also get out soon, so looking forward to get my shooter experience with the Move.

Move : 10/10

OK so here goes my stupid question I've never played any of the Resident Evil game at all, so Resident Evil 5 Gold Edition is on sale at Best But for $29.99. Would I be completely lost since I haven't played any of the prior Evil games or will it be worth buying since I bought the Move bundle? The Gold Edition is "Move" friendly:dopey: I'm just trying to use my PS3 for something other than Racing Games. I'm also stupid when it comes to action games as I don't know what to do when:dunce:

I have Uncharted: Drake's Fortune not even close to finishing it figured might get 2 much later.

You'll enjoy it when you do, Uncharted 2 is much better than the first one.

I've only played the demo of Resident Evil and didn't really take to it as you couldn't move and shoot at the same time, maybe that I've spent too much time playing COD and other action games. It does get good reviews though so it could be worth getting it to go with Move.

Think of it like a point and click adventure. Is that guy identifiable as an enemy? Yes. Point and click. BOOM! Headshot. Not that hard really. Although Resident Evil's controls are hold one button to aim, then point and click, but it makes it impossible to shoot and run.

And if guns aren't involved then they are 90% random button mashing and 10% hit the button shown on screen in the allotted time.

Personally, if you just want to fight zombies I think the Resident Evil series is a bit too focused on puzzles and other random crap that I don't want to worry about when the undead wish to eat my braaaaiiinnnsss. Dead Rising 2 comes out at the end of this month though and that series is designed to be more like zombie movies. It has some puzzle type stuff, but when most of that involves things like finding creative ways to attach a chainsaw to other items, like a boat paddle, to make awesome weapons I can handle that.

What I will not do in my future gaming sessions is jump about the living room or wave my arms around like a complete balloon.
Leave that to the Wii crowd.
