Just in case you don't know, this kid is one of the forums "know it all's"
You, however, appear to be one of the forum's trouble makers. You might want to think about that before making any more unnecessary and provocative posts.

Hey guys,

Here's another video of our pedal testing. It's going very well, and as you can see, we're using a clutch this time
smile.png
We'll have more details about this clutch very soon, but before we do, we're going to be showing you how the brake pedal works. So stay tuned for that!

Hey guys,

We're starting to make some great progress. We've had a finished brake pedal for about 3 weeks now and we're finally getting around to showing you how it works. We hope you like the design. Let us know what you think!

Hey guys,

I managed to get some more testing in this afternoon, so I figured I would go ahead and get it on camera. This video demonstrates how much travel the brake pedal has in a real world environment. A couple of people have commented that the brake pedal may have a bit too much travel. We hope this will alleviate some of those concerns.

Hey guys,

We've finally reached a milestone in our development process. We now have all three working pedal prototypes! In this video we showcase our new clutch pedal design. It has some interesting mechanics, and we hope you like the design. It has a good firm feel at the top of the stroke and it gets lighter as you push further down, which is what you want in a clutch pedal. Enjoy the video!

PICTURES REMOVED. Details coming soon.

Just to give all of you an update on what's happening...

We're going to be announcing something fairly big within the next few weeks. Until that time, we're going to concentrate on testing, testing, and more testing. And we'll put out a few videos that highlight that testing.

I just want to say thank you to all of you that have participated in this thread, given us such great feedback, and have helped us to develop our upcoming pedal set. It hasn't been an easy road, and we've had our fair share of adversity along the way. That said, we've come quite a long way since October of 2013, and we're honored to have had the opportunity to show all of you what went into making these pedals.

Sincerely,

Chris Smith - Co-Founder -

Today we're testing the pedals again. This is going to be an ongoing series. We have weeks and weeks of testing still to do, and we'll try to show you as much as we possibly can. We've even chosen a beta tester so that we can get some feedback from an outside source. We'll have more details about that later, but for now, just enjoy the testing :)

Hey guys, we had a couple of requests to do an actual race, so I managed to get some footage of a race that took place this afternoon. I'm not the fastest driver out there, but I know my way around Summit Point. My lap times aren't the greatest. Still, my PB is 125.770. That's not too terrible :) Enjoy the video!

Hey guys, this is yet another race with our new pedals. This time I managed to get second place. So far, I'd have to say that I'm doing quite well in this series. We'll see how well I do when I start getting into races with the guys with a higher irating. We'll see. Enjoy the video!

Nice racing, Chris. Loved the fight with Jeff at the end of the 4th race.
Can I ask what monitor stand you are using? Seems like a nice solid one.

Also talking about noise from the pedals. Especially the Clutch seem to 'bang' against the bushing/spacer quite hard, and all pedals do this as well when hitting the rest position.
To remedy this, would it be possible to put a (hard) rubber sleeve around the bushing/spacer? That way you wouldn't get that metal on metal impact noise I'd reckon.

You really can't tell from the videos, but that banging noise you hear isn't the clutch. It's actually coming from the throttle pedal. When I let me foot off the throttle, it makes that noise. However, it's not as loud as it seems in the video. We placed a rubber bushing, followed up by a polyurethane bushing on the end of that rod so that the noise was reduced when letting off the throttle quickly. All pedals seem to suffer from this, unfortunately. We've done what we can to remedy that without hindering the operation of the pedal.

Also, we switched out the adjustment bolt that was in the front, and placed a polyurethane bump stopper behind the pedal arms on the throttle and clutch. We did this because the bolt was hitting a metal plate. That was what we were using as a stop. We've since switched over to the polyurethane bushings and now it's 100% better. You can't even hear anything when you mash your foot down on the throttle and clutch. It's nice a quiet ;)

Also, keep in mind that the noise is compounded by the fact that it's in such a small space, the cockpit being made of plywood, and the camera being right next to the pedals. The camera also normalizes all the audio giving you a very inaccurate representation of what it really sounds like.

Oh yeah, and half of that noise is my G27 shifter ;)

If you have any other questions, feel free to ask away :)

P.S. the monitor mount was purchased here: http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0052ATODM/?tag=gtplanet-20

Hey guys, this is yet another testing video. This is the Mazda cup at LRP. This time, I happen to win the race, but not without some incidents. The two cars in front of me were having a real scrap, and I managed to get around one of them cleanly. The other car and I had an incident going into a turn and I really screwed up. I was trying to brake hard, and my car almost pushed him off the road. I apologized for it immediately afterwards, twice. However, there were some words that were said by some other drivers, and I decided to black that out as to not call out anyone.

It was a low percentage move on my part, and I should have waited until the front straight to make a move. Lesson learned.

Anyhow, I had some problems with rendering, so the video is a bit choppy. I apologize for that. Hopefully the next video doesn't have these issues. Enjoy :)

Hey guys, today we're testing out Assetto Corsa. This is the first time we've tested this sim with our pedals, and I have to say, I'm really starting to like this sim. I think the FFB still needs a bit of work, though. It feels a bit flat in the front end. It seems to me that rFactor 2 really nails front end feedback. You can really feel what the front suspension is doing. In Assetto Corsa, it just feels like there's no feedback coming from the front suspension at all.

It could be my settings, or it could be the sim itself. All that said, Assetto Corsa is certainly a strong racing sim. Once it works out the multiplayer issues, I think this will be a great addition to the sim racing family.

Hey guys, today we get a chance to check out Project CARS. The Zakspeed Ford Capri is probably one of my all time favorite cars, and I wanted to test it out in this sim. It's an absolute blast to drive, but it's a little scary

Nevertheless, I managed to do a few laps around "The Green Hell". It was a lot of fun. Enjoy!

You, however, appear to be one of the forum's trouble makers. You might want to think about that before making any more unnecessary and provocative posts.

No, not a trouble maker. It's just when this logitech goes around telling some very skilled people they are doing it wrong, as in this thread. Then when the OP shows logitech that he has already thought of this and has made amble adjustments for it. Do you see if logitech apologizes? Absolutely not. No big deal, logitech has been doing this from the time he has joined, so ya he thinks he knows it all. I have witness at least a dozen threads where he tries to BS his way to inexperienced users. However Vagabond it doesn't work on those with at least some life experience.

The pedals that don't have this adjustment include: G25/G27's, Club Sports, Thrustmaster pedals, CST's, DSD's, or any other high end pedals that I can think of. As mentioned above, it's not a deal breaker.

I know this comment is very late, but the T500RS pedals do have the option of changing the pedal face angle. :dopey: The adjustment is quite limited, as you can only set them up in two predetermined positions, but nevertheless, you can adjust it. :)

Congratulations on a great set of pedals at a reasonable price. If I didn't already have my ECCIs I'd definitely be considering them. :)

One suggestion which you've heard before and that is including a base.

You are correct, sir! I don't know how I missed that. I appreciate the correction.

Thank you for the kind words with respect to our pedals. I hope that you continue to follow us as we test them throughout the summer. We are also going to be making a series of videos that showcase all of the possible adjustments you can make with our pedals, in great detail. We hope you will watch them!

Price is sweet and they look fantastic. Although I expect Shipping, customs and taxes will need to be accounted for UK customers.

Yes, shipping and customs will need to be accounted for. However, if we can find a distributor in Europe, these might be a lot cheaper than they normally would be. We're working on this, but cannot promise anything as of yet.

We don't anticipate you'll be spending much more than the European price of 319 or 379 Euros.

That's good news :D I really love how they look ... hope they'll be as good as they look!

We hope that you'll like them as much as we do! Our beta tester has been having a great time testing these pedals. He's even given us some fantastic feedback that has enabled us to make some critical changes to the design and function of all three pedals. We'll have more details about that in our upcoming "adjustments" video series set to be released within a couple of weeks.

Aren't you planning on getting a set to some of the pro reviewers like InsideSimRacing or Sim Racing Garage near it's release date? Not that you need that, of course. Getting to be in the 20 lucky ones will be as hard as winning the lottery already.

Yes, we are planning on sending a set of pedals to a select few reviewers. When that will be, I don't know. It should be rather early on, though. We'd like to have them reviewed so that the public can get a better idea of what they think of them. It will be interesting, for sure.

cool :) keep us up to speed pls

Despite having CST F1 pedals, I'm still following with interest. For the quality of construction and performance that is apparent, the price is stunningly good. Well done indeed.
