I'm not telling you how you have to set your car, but the shocks are backwards. I assume they're listed ext f/r comp f/r.I decided to open a "private" room so I could just try and find time.
I was switching between the tunes posted (thanks guys 👍) and decide on changing outlaws tune a bit.
RH: -0/-3
SR: 11.0/9.6
D(E): 4/6
D(C): 6/4
ARB: 3/3
Camber: 2.4/2.0
Toe: 0.00/-0.30
LSD: 5/60/10
Downforce: 35/60
Brakes: 4/4
Tranny:
Max Speed to Minimum --> Final @ 2.550
Changing the bake bias to 4/4 did wonders, I was so unbalanced entering corners that my exit speeds could have been better if I dove a Prius.
Trailing in under braking felt right again so I could stay on the grip line "sorta". I'm getting 57.6 to 58.0s right now, still slow but better than 58.5s with a luck 57.7.

Mine are now 8/6 3/5 for example.
I've always thought the game had the spring and damper settings backwards. Whatever the case may be, my settings sure beat default.Nope, I'm using what I posted. Outlaw made the tune. I have know idea why they are like that, but I like the way the car feels
Dunno if you've already got something for it but you might check out Walmart for some rubber type fabric you can cut and put between the bottom of the wheel and on the top of the clamps and your desk. I can't remember what it's called but I have a roll of it here. We use it to keep things from slipping around on the counter tops. Been hunting around the internet trying to find a link, but no luck so far. If I find a link or a picture somewhere, I'll post it in.
DragonwhiskyFound it. My wife is a genius! Search for shelf liner at walmart.com turned up this http://www.walmart.com/ip/Duck-12-x-20-Select-Easy-Liner/16456560
Ran 1:56.778 with a really good sector 2. Concerned about getting beat by a one-stop strategy, so that only means driving on the limit every lap.
No doubt about it. It's Sector 3.eesh.... where am I losing a 1/2 second?

These are my splits:do I need to go flat through schumacher? (my car doesn't like doing that without pushing toward ze beech)
(so you must be hitting that check-point before the chicane carrying a mid 1'29?)

Well, it's probably why the toe is so much lower than mine. The shocks are causing more oversteer than stock under braking , and while the shocks are/would cause even more understeer than stock on exit, the max-accel lsd is making it looser on exit. Between these two, if the mid-corner balance were more neutral it'd start breaking loose anytime other than mid-corner.I've always thought the game had the spring and damper settings backwards. Whatever the case may be, my settings sure beat default.
With the brakes, I'll admit it gets dicey on entry, but it feels like a net gain on exits.

@CSL, Thanks for posting that up pre-race. Will punch that in shortly and take her for a spin.
Hmm seems not matter which I set first, final or top speed, I can either get the low gears to hit the mark or the high gears. Did you reset to default before you set these up or went from previous settings?
Closest I could get was first to 4273 and matched all the rest.
That's good enough, I'll have to play with it and see what I fudged up. Not a clue atm. Coming back to the room now, t-storm on the way with me.
These are my splits:
36.167 / 26.249 / 27.441 / 26.921 = 1:56.778
With the S, I go about 90% for a moment, then cut the car in with full throttle. It's a little tricky, though. The next corner's where I try braking a little early. Why? Because it's key that the car's stable when entering the last corner in that sector. You're down in the 76-78 mph range where if I nail it, I'm going 81-83.
I'm usually in the same boat, especially with Bit, so it's unusual that my car's doing well there. Must be the setup.ahh.. yeah, I've kept it above 81 in bit-kurve before... those two corners (Michelin and Bit Kurve after schumacher) are always my bane at nurF.
The only time I add positive rear toe is with cars that are wrecking loose out of the box. Otherwise, I can't stand how every car in GT5 has it.As far as setups go, I'm surprised you guys don't like positive rear toe here. With a little +toe out back I find I can get to WOT so much sooner through the cambered hairpins.

Where else did I learn about the negative toe? With positive toe I don't think the car will be going as quickly through the corner. Get on it sooner, but from a lower speed.
Now do as the aliens would do if they were here, and use negative toe!
I will say that I didn't like the rear toe with the feedback at max. It's more manageable at 5.I try to use as little toe as possible. I stay away from setups that use a lot of it.
