My FF is at 1 for a sprained thumb, so the low toe is feeling superb.

Making new room. The one we have seems buggy.

1472-6681-3415-7081-9936

Stay off track when you enter please.

I messed with my connection settings last night and forgot to change it back. 100% my fault. it should be fixed

New room:

1472-6118-3744-3754-0917

Quali pushed back 10 minutes.

Same boat.

i'm in after a reboot of *.* + whatever mule had to do

... taking an eon to load the room though... looks like It's going to time out... yep. disconnected

and we're back to Entry Refused due to Network incompatibility with host.

Not sure I'm a fan of your rooms Mule; we've had issues every week. :/

carracer is in fine, as us everyone else. you're the only one with problems still :/

Well poo. Just woke up from a nap.

You only missed lag, disconnections, 768 errors, more 768 errors, 3 new rooms, crazy car handling, 1 lap qualifying, more lag, and 2 winners according to GT5s messed up networking.

I could successfully do a one-stopper if I could stay on the track. Oh well, my fault for not learning the car and track, I guess. Congrats whoever won.

1 stopper was definitely doable. I was forced to do it after a crappy qualifying run and falling back on the start. Goal was to finish higher than I started, I guess I achieved that.

As far as the winner goes, IMO a slow DC (what happened) is still a DC. But it's not my series and I'm only a spot starter, so do as you will. :)

And you missed me not getting lapped by the entire field. I didn't even get lapped by the leaders. PB during race too. Actually only had one lawn mowing excursion and no sea shell grubbing at all. Admittedly, Grayfox and Lancer helped get me to my 7th or 8th place finish, depending on how the lead at finish gets decided on, and I actually feel like I earned what few points I get out of it. Even with the Sony/PD network issues, it was a fun race chasing and being chased by Grayfox. My last lap was nervous work. One mistake and he would've took that place right back.

While I have the least say in what goes on with the points not to mention the least to gain I'll toss my 2 cents on the floor about the race finish. Don't know if you have some kind of review system already in place, and if you do by all means employ it. Otherwise, it's Mule's series and he just happened to be observing this race and not in it, so I think he should review the race replay and make the call on placement.

So I was 9 seconds back with 2 to go, tread around 60-65%. Gaining an increasing amount already at 5 seconds on lap 26.(Last lap I see Rich)

I do believe lap times after that are irrelevant because I wasn't chasing anyone, just staying on the track in front of Tim. I assumed Rich had pitted or spun and I missed it.

I think DC talk is nonsense, he should get at the minimum third, because we know he did finish within that positions time 100%.
Just my 2 cents, do as you will Steve.👍

We all (I think) saw his winning message, so we know he was in the room, and it is unlikely that he even lost 3rd.

Other than that, it was a typical Sunday drive.

I honestly don't have an opinion either way. Since the game did... whatever I did, I kept going only because I wanted the dignity of finishing all the laps. In my mind, I won today regardless of what the official results say. :)

But I stopped racing him with 2 laps to go, where/who finished when exactly is irrelevant.

Tim probably couldn't have gone faster, but he may have been settling for second as well. You drive differently depending where you are and who you're chasing, more particularly if they have shot tires.

Yeah I saw you guys coming and had no intentions of fighting so I just pulled over and gave up.

3rd (or 4th) is better than 7th.

I was wondering where your tires were at. My second and third stint made me think a 1 stopper was possible, my gaining that spins time back chasing outlaw makes me think 2 stop was definitely the fastest way to go though.

Sorry you guys had such a goofy race. Still wish I was there to share the experience.

Man I'm still tired too. I wanna get on GT5 and thrash my Z06 around on CH tires. Just can't get motivated. Maybe some food and finish that RedBull I opened earlier. LoL

Could someone explain what happen at the end to cause confusion.

They were toast. But I kind of prefer racing in those type of situations because it obviously forces you to slow down, take corners with more patience, and you go at your own pace more than someone else's. The more I play this game, I realize the physics are screwy and worn tires brings the realistic factor up a bit.

If I had gotten the pole, I was definitely going with a 2 stopper. I wasn't expecting the track conditions to change.

With about 4 to go, I disappeared on track for everyone else and vice versa. Everyone kept going until the finish, where apparently, there was two winning messages. I DC'ed when I tried exiting to the lobby.

Before I get to the finish today, Motegi will be 30 laps + the formation lap.

IMO, GT5 only gets the street cars right. The racing cars just feel disconnected, even this Camaro.

I was chasing like hell til the final lap when I knew I couldn't catch and pass, since we pit together, ran the same stint trying to beat the 1-stop, and had the same wear... I just kept it on the road for a 2.0 and 2.0; CSL did 1.59, 2.0.

I looked over the replay. Rich pops off taking the final turn on lap 26/28, so he goes dark for 2 full laps. Going by the rate of decay on the gap from the beginning of the lap it looks like CSL would have hit the line at a high +9s.

When chasing we were chewing up 1-1.1 per sector off of the lead. If that kept up dom would have definitely caught a tail wind.

There's a big hole from 3rd - 4th.... IMO, it's either DNF or p3 for outlaw... :irked:

GT5 kind of blew what was going to be an interesting finish.
