Welcome to PURE FMSC!

Lol wait no,
Welcome to FMSC PURE!

PURE isn't a series, JGTS is. PURE's a group/racing orginization. NASCAR is to PURE as Sprint Cup is to Japanese Gran Touring Series.

There'll be another series joining us in the next few days as well. Soon you'll all be PURE drivers...👍

Don't know why but every time I see "PURE", I hear it as a fading echo. :boggled:

Pure...Pure...pure

Does PURE have a drivers union?
Car number reserves, making sure drivers don't have to practice to long as it would "stress the drivers", no race can last more than 1 hour as it would "stress the drivers", RS tire so as not to "stress the drivers", making sure that every driver wins an equal number of races so as not to "stress the drivers", Free lessons from aliens so as not to "stress the drivers" with figuring out the track?
If you don't have all that I'm calling my union leaders.

hah, all we can do is help with pre-race, and post-race stress. Everything else is up to the driver.

Call your union mobs! We're ready to take them on with strong stances in racing standards such as, " Hey... hey man, please don't do that."

But in reality, we're just looking to help RT in taking whatever stress he needs to let out onto us (not in the punching bag sort of way though, hopefully) for us to assist in taking care of.

We'll do the dirty work if need be, pretty much. And anything else in between any sanctioned series requests as well.

Who runs PURE?

Found me a race car project!

It's on craigslist in a "2 for 1" deal for $2,000 with a running car. He said he would sell them separately, and that one for $500. So tempting...

Edit: What do you guys think about the Hard Dog Challenge? Obviously most of you that have posted in here so far will be doing the Hydra series, but I'm having second thoughts about using the TC for the HDCS. I would like to keep it a Spec series, and using the stock 1989 won't be terribly exciting, so that leaves us with the stock '07 NC Miata.

Out of the 3 choices below, which one would you prefer?

A) 1989 MX-5 / PP Restricted Tuning / Fixed Sport Suspension / Sport Hard Tires (old format-ish)
B) 2007 MX-5 / Tuning Restricted / Sport Hard Tires
C) Roadster TC / Tuning Restricted / Sport Soft Tires

All of the upcoming stuff is a bit much for me to remember when exactly everything is, so I've no idea if I'll be doing the HDC, but out of those I'd pick the stock 07 10 times out of 10.

89 would be a boring draft fest on any track I can imagine, and the TC on SS was just to much grip IMO. With the name Hard Dog Challenge, I'd look for N3's or S1's.
Stock 07 on CS tires is a really good drive, but S1's might still work.

I dont know much about your job, but do you modify Miatas or restore them or something like that? Do you sell them as well? :D I dont know, im going to college in January, gonna get a job, and will save some money to get a car. Might be a Miata :D

I used to work for Flyin' Miata (hence the connection to this series) and I also owned a '90 (seen in my avatar). Unfortunately with my pay salary I can't afford to buy a racecar outright and just go racing. I'm going to have to start with a $500 car. I know these cars down to every nut and bolt, so fixing it will not be an issue.

B would be my only choice. Otherwise I'll be missing another season. Really wasn't feeling the stock Roadster TC on SS. Much easier to police a 100% stock room by checking the "tuning prohibited" box in the room than option A. I know we did it in the past, but that was based on a lot of trust.

See, that's the way I was going to do it before was with the stock '07. I think the slower cars will help keep the field closer and produce better racing.

I'm going to switch everything over.
