Outlaws tune was good after I lowered the LSD. The car just doesn't suit me at all. Completely takes the fun out of this. I used the Camaro last week and loved it. Really wish I could switch to that.
 
I know what you mean. For example I would HATE to be driving an M3.
Tried tnjf's, it hated no abs braking and the front felt disconnected.
Which is odd because the standard car is so damn good.
 
Spec racing with a bunch of guys from the D1 Room. Recommended garage, cars like Gallardos with sports hard. Anyone welcome: 1472-6118-3658-4758-3150

Then around lap 16 I noticed a couple names drop back way fast, Welsh_Bain and outlaw4rc. Don't know what happened but they were suddenly back with us with the couple leaders about 25 seconds ahead or so.

My Vette suddenly snapped loose exiting the first chicane. Unfortunately, it was just enough to send it all the way left to the grass. From there, I had no steering, so I bumped the wall. Shame too since I blew my chance for a podium.

Not sure what happened up front, but I swear a similar thing happened at the same spot in Season 1.
 
hey aderrrm, if you dont mind me asking what kind of time do you run on grand valley? just wondering how far off the pace i am.
 
Uploading a video of the first 8 laps of the race. It was supposed to be a < 15min video, but i messed up and its a 15:30.
I had a pretty nice view of the 4 way battle into the chicane, when Wardez and Tony went off. It's in the video :)

Given what had happened to me during the race, I drove like a caveman the last two laps. I was either getting 4th or crash trying. :lol:

Good teaching tool:

In draft-dependent tracks, cars that help push each other while staying in position can catch up to a leader running on their own, even if said racer is fast.

Instead, after the crash, everyone raced each other pointlessly, allowing Adam to get away. Racecraft fail. :ouch:

We've only just finished Monza lol. No one normally runs any times for the next track until it's half way through a week.

well i'm very eager, lol. i want to see if i can get into div 1 or at least qualify further up div 2. ive been trying to work on a setup, cause i usually just run the stock setup gt5 provides.

Aderrrm what cars are free after the WRS enduro I want to try racing atleast one other race series before deciding jumping back on full time :). Also I wanna have a go in these as their fun ;). (If there was a chance to drive my Silverline Camaro id take it btw :sly:)
 
Okay no probs Paul. 👍 Has your internet changed or have you just got a bit more confidence to try and race again lol? There's only one full time spot left which is in the Delirium team with Reality using the 370z. But seeing as there's only 2 races left and you're trying it out, you might as well use the Camaro and be a reserve (the Camaro will be strong at Grand Valley too). And yes, I'll let you use your Silverline colours. :lol:
 
Thanks Aderrrm and yeah still the same but 3 races of over 1 hour each and the 3rd over 2 hours. With only a few lag spikes over the duration (I seen cars go crazy at points but others confirmed they didnt see me go crazy, so they werent in danger, I was :lol:). Ill be on my GTP account now since it seems to be luckier ;).

The only thing thats changed since now and 2 months ago is an arguement with AOL and I think they looked at the cables outside the house ect and made it stronger (Ray and mum thought there was a bad connection.) Basicaly my nets still not quick but it seems to lose connection less so could be more stable :lol:.

Also being a reserve am I still able to qualify? (For D2 :sly:)

Edit: Ack noticed the Camaros specs changed since I first tested it... More weight and more power so ill need to go buy a new one :lol:.

Lol. And yep you can still qualify. Reserves can qualify, but can only race if there is a spot open (since there are less than 24 drivers signed up, it's no problem).
 
Great :D. Ive had a brief run with it under spec (un run in) and if anything feels even better :dopey:.

There were a few things wrong with the points before Monza (mainly, no one team had the correct points in the teams standings :lol::dunce:). I've changed the team standings tables so that you now see their points haul rather than position on how many points they scored. Looks like there's a battle for 1st, 3rd, 5th, 7th and 9th in the series team standings (where Datahouse have scored exactly 31 points 3 weeks running! lol). :)


Also, Europe are now on daylight savings.

7:00 PDT / 10:00 EDT / 15:00 BST (GMT+1) - Qualifying deadline
8:30 PDT / 11:30 EDT / 16:30 BST (GMT+1) - Room opens (add my PSN)
8:55 PDT / 11:55 EDT / 16:55 BST (GMT+1) - PP, power and weight checks, track reset
9:00 PDT / 12:00 EDT / 17:00 BST (GMT+1) - line up in order on track, race start (with formation lap)

Seeing TAs laps in the Camaro stump me 1:32.0 at Nurb GP/D im testing right now and can only get a 1:33.6 or a 1:33.4 on a perfect lap.. :odd:. TA any chance you'll let me "borrow" your setup :sly:.

Can i use the 750,000 from the D2 win at Monaco and the 500,000 from the D1 Monza 3rd to ask for a 1,000,000 Ferrari Enzo?
 
Yeah it can't be gifted unfortunately because it has to be under 1,000,000 credits, which is quite annoying. :ouch: Pick again :dopey:
 
Do you by any chance have the Nissan 350Z Concept LM Race Car, R390 GT1 Road Car, or the Mazda RX-8 LM Race Car? I'll claim one of them as my Spa reward :dopey:
