When I watch this video, I see that the fault is mine and only mine. Nothing would happen if I was 1 meter behind :(

Hope I'll not do anything like that for the next WRS Enduro, I got pole, i can't believe it...

Never seen two cars come together and sandwich a middle one the slap noses. It is almost comical in a way.

Very unfortunate situation. Adrenaline was obviously involved. GO GO GO lol. Sorry it's late and lil slap happy.

Yeah Litchi, just one of those races.

Great job on pole for the 3D3 Enduro though 👍

Haha...

It seems to me that D2 didn't keep the 100kmh speed until the Total sign. I haven't watched the replay myself but after watching that replay posted above, you can see that drivers were well into 4th gear before turn 1. I don't understand why we weren't all bunched up after turn 1 before the Total sign. Maybe I missed something...

The race started at the start line instead of the usual total sign.

Both wrong. It should have started at the last line on the ground before La Source (which is very close to the corner).

(at least that's what Litchi said in D2)

Wardez
Right.

Hurry up guys!

Also, remember we're starting the race under the starting line, not the timing line, start under the banner!

This is where the race should start^^
At the start line.

Okey, so it seems like im not of the pace here then :) Have done a few laps now and got a 48.6. Feels like it could be a high 47 out there.

I'm really sorry for not informing you that I wont be racing but I had a misarable sunday. My mother fractured her wrist she sliped in front of the house, had to drive her to the hospital at around 2pm and we came back home at 9pm. I was not able to get internet access to let you know where I am.
Finnaly I get in D1 and then have to miss the race, quite dissapointing...sorry again for for cousing any troubles.

No prob Nissman.
We understand.
Hope your mother get well soon. 👍

PB so far.. 1:48.9
If guys start reaching down in the 47's, I'm going to start crying..

Managed to tweak the setup well enough for my tires to wear almost equally..
Happy with that since the track/car consumed my rears like crazy during my first 2 hours of testing until I finally managed to sort the issue..

And we are back at top , i feel bad for quitting last race and getting 0 points :(

Anyways still pushing to get this teams championship !!!!

Unfortunately Dan, that's about to change. I didn't make 75% of the race, so my 24 points will be removed. Not sure what points Padded scored in D2. Sorry Team-Mate :(

I'm still going to fight on!!!!!! Tony u best be worried

It's just a matter of damage control, e.g. which starting point can make for, in the event of a lag spike, less cars involved. So, had we used Les Combes as turn one there would've been a lot more space and run off in the case of an accident, less walls as well; the turn was much more mellow of an angle, and just look at how easy people start to fishtail on exit there at La Source by themselves, and we were on cold tires so even if the same type of lag spike happened going into Les Combes I believe we would have better been able to avoid each other as a result of the initial accident, like how I bumped into Nige which didn't have to happen at all.
People controlled their cars exiting tight first corners every race this year though.

I understand the concerns and dislikes of the start line at Spa, but changing the location of where drivers need to be careful doesn't change that they need to be careful.
As we can see, 1 driver wasn't quite careful enough.

As for room to avoid cars, did anyone go wide left at all? (off in that huge runoff area) (Edit: checked and not a single car avoided the accident by going into the large runoff area, nor did a single one try)
I think people are reluctant to drive off track to avoid an accident, so by the time we're willing, a crash is inevitable. That's a decent portion of my reasoning on the Kemmel straight.

The extra room at La Source only counts if people use it to prevent an accident. Just like the extra room to the left in turn 1.

Quite frankly this is 3 cars crashing and only 1 more getting caught up in it, so it's not even an issue of a pileup.

I think d1 crash was a chain reaction i got rear ended and hit welsh , wardez got in the mix and others .

Just bad luck but thats racing , im sure it will be better next time around .

I went wide at T1, I had a small bump from behind and saw a car spin on the map so I thought **** that I'm do a Alonso and take the easy route lol

Unfortunately I wont be able to participate in the rest of the season even as a reserve driver now. I was really hoping I would get at least one Sunday off work so I could participate in another race, not just Fuji, but once again, I'm working this Sunday, and then back up in Newcastle the week after.. Fingers crossed I'll have a less hectic timetable for season 3.

yep, realized I made a math error in calculating the completion percentage (I took off the pace lap when calculating the per-lap % but forgot to subtract the pace-lap from your completed total). So you really made 72% of the race... you needed 1 more lap to hit 75%. Sorry. :(

Change has been made.
