I believe at one time typing "Holy" followed by four asterisks, or the word "you" preceded by four asterisks, and so on was as much of a no-no as typing the words the asterisks stood for. Is that still the case?

Does he have a copy of GTPedia in indigo?

No, but he does sign it in his signature hue 👍

No - for all we know, those four asterisks could mean "ball" or "emus". Someone using a lone asterisk to blank out one letter in an otherwise-obvious word, or intentionally subtly misspelling? Not good.

Can confirm. I've had a message from staff about doing this once before in the past. I think I asteriked the two middle letters but it was still pretty clear what the word may have been especially in the context it was used in.

Fairly sure this hasn't been asked yet, but can a mod mod himself? Like give himself infractions/warnings?

It'd be rather amusing if so.

I don't know, if they got a bit bored one night?

It's really pointless but i'm just curious.

What if I start swearing in Dutch? ;) I assume that the swear filter doesn't work with other languages?

I wouldn't try it, but I don't know if it will filter it or not. ;)

Apologies to any Staff members I may have just tree'd. :)

EDIT: I see that I didn't tree any Staff members after all. That's good to know. :)

No, the swear filter won't catch other languages but if you feel the need to do it, we'll hit you for both expletives and not posting in English. ;)

Here's a question I just thought of: When contacting a Staff member about a questionable post, what is the best way to do so? Is it via PM, a report or some other way?

The Report button is there for a reason. Use it. Sending one of us a PM might mean that you might catch us when we're offline and nothing will happen until we log in next, if we have time to address the situation then. Reporting it alerts all of the staff at once and it will be dealt with in a more timely manor.

If you simply have an inquiry about something, then sure, PM away.

Alrighty then. I wasn't sure, and I had actually started a PM without sending it when I decided to come here first. Thanks, TB.

Aside from Jardun (site founder, if you wasn't aware) to Purpel Starvation (Admin) is there a hierarchy within the super mod camp?
Example, we all know Pako owes GTP dinosaurs a dollar and T12 is everywhere at once, so does that put either of them up top, or is it a pretty even team?

Question: if a series host has to make an announcement, and it simply has to be a double post, what can be done to avoid an infraction?
