Thanks for the into.

As far as the $20 piece of **** car, I was just wondering if I could yank the motor in favor for something with more power to see if I could drift the ****er down in out parking garage. lol

I'll be looking for a Tamiya GT BMW now.

You could try and replace the motor but you could easily overload the circuit that controls the speed on the car. Also you will need more voltage for more speed. IN terms of the BMW, do you mean the V12 LM?

Yup. Probably the NSX. I will probably order it this week! Thanks! Also that radio, could I use it on another car if I would get one in the future?

You will need 2 servos, one for steering and one for speed control unless you buy an electronic speed controller. The radio can easily be removed and put in another car with servos and recievers avaliable separatley if need be.

I have a char-g s2000 and evoVII rallycar :D

I raqce em round the dog! they r different frequencies so i can have them both going at the same time!!

Those Bit char-g's are cool, I've played with one but didn't really have enough space (counter at work), they're quicker than I though they'd be!

I definatly agree with NASCARnut, an ESC is well worth getting, they give you better control, more speed and better acceleration. I would also recommend a bearing kit for the car as it will make it run a lot freer so be quicker still, yet more efficient as well as reducing wear. If you want to see my TL-01, go to the first page of this thread, it's the Taisan R32 GTR :D

Thanks for the complement on the trucks NASCARnut, I manged to pick the Pumpkin up for £30 with everything but battery in charger in near mint condition, while the Bullhead was £50 with two servos and a reciever. Bragains both! Neither have any mods at the moment (24 other r/c cars to feed!) although I am tempted by some of the Clodzilla bits for the Bullhead. Any chance of seeing some photos of your trucks?

I agree with NASCARnut, look how much a standard servo is and compare it to the price of an electronic speed control (as NASCARnut said, LRP and Novak are good manufacturers). If you can afford to buy a ESC instead of a servo, get the ESC!

NASCARnut, can't you just put the pics on as an attachment?

I will look at those. ;)

Had my first race in 3 months today, got 4th, no finish and 3rd. Couldn't get used to speed and sharpness of handling at first! Need to work on car though
