Uh-uh. So, if I got this right, after releasing a driver, everybody can aim for him\her, and there is more than one person then the people around my position in the championship get the first dibs. Am I correct?
I'll give an example, and tell me if it answers your question.

Say I release Kyle Busch, and you and @nascarfan1400 claim him, you're combined 10th in points, while @nascarfan1400 's combined 12th in points. @nascarfan1400 would get him unless someone below him in points puts in a claim.

Ah, got it. Lower ranked drivers are the ones to have first dibs on a released driver. So in a way, you won't have much chances of getting a new driver if you're close to the top of the points standings. Hopefully I didn't misunderstood the words this time.

You got it

Just so you know, the contigs overlap your number a little

@Jahgee1124 KK, fixed. Alan will also be test driver.

I guess Jamie wasn't the best of choices for an oval, but it's interesting to see how he did.

Alright, did the first race, and the results were certainly interesting
17th - @samurai8juice Jann Mardenborough crashed the car multiple times, so much that he fell out due to damage around 50 laps in
16th - @Niku Driver HC broke a camshaft
15th - @quietgirl fell out with Valve problems
14th - @The Bman 26 laps down
13th - @Earth 20 laps down
12th - @nascarfan1400 18 laps down
11th - @raven214 An early pit stop put you 3 laps down, you never recovered and ended up 18 laps down
10th - @AJHG1000 14 laps down
9th - @NW48 9 laps down
8th - @Harsk100 8 laps down
7th - @swiftsmith 7 laps down
6th - @DCybertron 7 laps down
5th - @DurWinning 7 laps down
4th - @Doodle 6 laps down
3rd - @Jahgee1124 only 3 laps down, I was leading for a little bit at the beginning
@BKGlover you were 4th or so for most of the race, but around lap 150, you somehow ended up in second as the only other car on the lead lap
@Gerarghini you lead every lap that my guy didn't lead, and lead around 225 of the 272 las

@Jahgee1124

Could I get a preview of my skins? I'm most interested in how the lines/placements work on the sides.

Race Results
  • 17th @Harsk100 The very first lap, there was an accident involving you and @NW48, he lost his hood, while you lost your camshaft
  • 16th @raven214 You were the dominant car of the race, but when @BKGlover broke, you must have been updating your status or something, because you plowed right into him , ironically this broke your piston
  • 15th @BKGlover You had a major impact on this race with the timing of your Piston malfunction
  • 14th @NW48 The early accident set you back too far to catch up, you were keeping pace even with your damaged car
  • 13th @AJHG1000 I think your car overall had the slowest pace at the track, Nigel just doesn't have what it takes on the ovals, I think
  • 12th @Doodle You were probably the closest to a moving chicane in the race, almost every pass for the lead, you were there setting a pick as a lapped down car
Most of you were dealt the **** end of the stick by the caution, so don't put too much stock into your finish if it was here
  • 4th @Jahgee1124
  • 3rd @Earth The caution helped you
  • 2nd @nascarfan1400 As much as the caution helped @Earth, it helped you twice as much. You had one of the better cars, but an unscheduled pit stop put you a lap down for the whole race until the @raven214 accident
  • 1st @Gerarghini Took advantage of others misfortunes to pull off the win

Well, you have been busy, haven't you @Jahgee1124?

Of course, I only have this to say about that first race:
Michael_Wilson2.jpg

Oh man, my real-life luck is translating to my virtual racing one, I'm doomed!

Jokes (and Michael Wilson) aside, I genuinely happy with my results. Tony is the fastest non-NASCAR driver, so his pace is definitely good. Two 3rd places in qualifying aren't bad to look at, either. 👍

Now, to get that racing part sorted out right... Are we going to see any screenshots of these races, may I ask?

And finally, sorted out the last bit of info in my team page; with the addition of @nascarfan1400 as my head painter after I held him at gunpoint after asking him for help with liveries.

14th,& 6th for qualifying so far,& 15th,& 7th. I was a little worried adding Johanna to my team but I'm not as worried as I was before.
