We don't have to race the Audi, it was just a thought.
For some reason I've never tried the Streamliner but it looks and sounds good in the video Jocke. It seems to handle quite well with that setup too. Looks good in that colour as well, it's like a stealth machine. In Zo's tradition of unusual cars, it's certainly worth a try I would think.

Although my phone line is shot until Wednesday at the earliest (engineer visit). Since it's affecting my internet also I'm not sure if I'll be able to join on Tuesday. Things are against me at the moment. :indiff:

I think the streamliner handles great Paul considering it's huge, a bit clumsy and also being a machine that's just shy of being eighty years old. The key is to keep the speed up otherwise it turns in very poorly.
It's quite impossible to race it around Monaco for instance, it gets stuck every time when trying
to negotiate the hotel hairpin.

But it works well at Nordschleife, Monza, Spa and similar tracks with long sweeping bends
and not so many stop&go corners.
You need to keep it in check or it has a tendency to want to throw you off.
GhostRider's tune really helps here.

Yes, but in hindsight three laps around Nordschleife might be a bit too much for some. One or two will suffice I think.

I could do with one!

I think there's a problem with the PHOTONIC PARTICLE FLUX COUPLING caused by a TRANS-WARP GRAVIMETRIC PHENOMENON. It just needs an adjustment of the MAGNATOMIC PLASMA TECHNO-THINGY and it would be fixed. A wave of a tricorder would do it.

Using normal means I'm now into the second week of problems.

I did some tuning for Trail & Spa and now I could drive it and its drivable. I'll be there on Tuesday...

Edit: I'll post my setup (/-s) tonight so all of you have at least two setup to test.

Zo. When you get back please edit post #2 as I am changing colours...

GOLDEN BACON body and rims total.

I cannot join you today but probably on the 9th.

Hopefully will see you then.

Too many colours here.

A humbling experience trying to wrestle with the crazy car -- this one separates the men from the boys, and it seems i have to stay in kindergarden. But it was a fun night, thanks @JockeP22 for hosting this extraordinary event and @jammy21 for sharing the setups and both of you for showing how it can be driven in style!

Suggestion for a future event-

Jaguar S-type R, stock and oil, comfort soft tyres, Grand valley speedway.

Comes in at 490pp, quick car despite the weight and holds big slides like a finely tuned drift machine. Bit font heavy, but is very user friendly.

Take one for a spin and let us know your thoughts. I was running 2:16 laps in free run mode from the garage.

What about karts at Route X!

That's not crazy, John, but there is a word for it ;)

We'll, I'm glad to see you chaps went for the most difficult car in the game while I wasn't here, but the replays do look and sound sensational. Well done for competing with Jammy Jocke, not the easiest of tasks at the best of times.

Perfectly happy to do this on Tuesday 9th, if there's agreement. I quite like the S-Type myself, but it doesn't get much use because it's lap times are pretty pants against many cars of similar pp. (Not sure about it being a bit font heavy, mind :))

Cheers, Zo.

Welcome back Zo.

While you were away Buybon, hobnob and I tried the Isuzu 4200R.

Brilliant car that even I can drive and power slide on the throttle. :sly:

Wondered if you'd want to give it another go. I also just tried it on @eran0004 track Maiwald Ring on CS tyres untuned with magic oil. Absolutely epic fun.
However the lap does take 3 mins but still lots of time to be gained!!!

Looking forward to the jag. Got my tartan cloth cap instead. :D

Is Maiwald the best ever track on GT? Quite possibly, in my opinion, and I've always liked the Isuzu 4200R.

So, that's it sorted for Tuesday 16th, Isuzu 4200R on C/S at Maiwald. Woohooo!

Cheers, Zo.

Noooooooooooo! Those user-made tracks are like poison with lag!

SEAT Ibiza Cupra around Ascari? That supermini has got awesome traction although coming with CS as the starting tyre.

Also just saying, I am not criticising eran on the way he made Maiwald, but you have to compare like 100,000 tracks to find which is the BEST.

That's a valid point you make John; that's why I qualified my comment with the 'in my opinion'. Which is best is a purely subjective matter, there is no best or worst, only those which an individual likes or not. Having said that, there's no question that Maiwald is best ;)

I take your point about lag, but it's a price the Racers Reunited seem to be happy to pay to sample the delights of the good custom tracks.

Funnily enough, I really like Ascari, but I have found that there has been less support for races there than at other tracks in the past. Don't let this put you off making suggestions though, it's what makes RR great!

Cheers, Zo.

Anybody seen Harsk around?
