I couldn't make the race, sorry for not informing you. I had a last moment phone call for work.

Thanks for letting me pop in today, fun couple races. The SH tires were appreciated. :embarrassed: Looking forward to seeing everyone online again. 👍

So, there I was saying "I'm not sure what we're doing next Tuesday". Then I woke up and realised that I'm going on holiday on Sunday!

Therefore, I can deduce that I won't be having a great deal of input for Tuesday 26th July, or 2nd August.

How about we resurrect Jocke's Mates (if he's around) I can't recall ever not enjoying one of his meetings (except when he turned the damn lights off!)

See you all in a couple of weeks chaps, Zo.

The tourist photos look awesome, like paradise!

Boy i need a vacation too. :D Have a phantastic trip! :)👍

I think it was 16 or 17 years ago!

I think I've found the cause of your attack!

That picture was taken on the day it didn't rain, circa 1978 :)

Not only that, but I think it's been retouched, has the sea there ever looked that blue? Still, everyone I've spoken to who's been there raves about how beautiful it is. I'm quite looking forward to it.

Cheers, Zo.

I won't be able to race today but I have an idea for the 2nd of August.

The oldest and most difficult car to control in the game, or so I thought
until I tried this tune by GhostRider65. Using his set-up for the suspension,
drivetrain, downforce and ballast makes this car really fun to drive.
It feels almost like a proper GT3 car. The replays look good too because the exhaust
pipes are frequently spitting out big flames behind the driver.

For the races:
- Only driving aid allowed: ABS
- Turbo: Prohibited
- Tyres: Racing Hard

Qualifying for race #1 will be set to a one lap shootout.
The grid for race #2 and #3 will be based on the previous finishing order.
It would be cool to capture the replays in black and white since the car is
from 1937. I quite like the music from the thirties as well.

Try the car and see if it's something worth doing next week or not. cheers

I was thinking of either a fully modded Nissan Micra 12SR or a Nissan GT-R Nismo with Sports Soft tyres, fully custom suspension, racing brakes, carbon propshaft, triple plate clutch kit, fully custom differential, stage 3 weight reduction, carbon bonnet, window weight reduction, stage one engine tuning, semi-racing exhaust, isometric exhaust manifold, sports catalytic converter, intake tuning and a mid rpm turbo. No oil change. 648pp and 799hp. With regards to tracks, no idea.

Am I going to need to talk to the wife tonight or what?
Sincerely hope not!!

Mini '98 cooper around eiger and Monaco?

Or what about Isuzu 4200R '89 vs Mitsubishi HSR-II '89 run stock but pp set to 450?? Around Tsukuba on recent seasonal it was really fast.

Just my thoughts.

Racers.

Apart from @buybon355 and @thehobnob97 you all missed an excellent evening. No worries. We only decided at the last minute.

Isuzu 4200R '89 was a complete drift king revelation and also good race car.

Had great fun around Tsukuba but then took the ford trans cammer around Spa and then a lovely Ferrari 375GTB. An incredibly close finish esp with Colin finishing 3 ft above us.:D

Great fun guys. I'll miss Jocke's fun race next week as will be working.

It is a nicely balanced car. I think Zo might have something planned for it! I've got one nicely painted up ready - shame I missed last night.

Well done for keeping the club ticking over guys. 👍
(Should have checked GTP earlier, I'd have popped in)

Thank you for hosting it last night. :D

Great fun! Thanks for setting it up suts. Daytona flies quite well!
It does fly rather nicely indeed, was a bit of a surprise to say the least.

I'll try Jocke's idea for Audi...

Edit: Just did couple of laps on TrailM and Audi is really weird car. I donno know if I wanna race with it. I'll try Spa and do some tuning if that help anything...

Thanks for trying it, jammy. I enjoy this car but it's
clear that not everyone does.

I use all of GhostRider65's set-up except for the transmission and I
move the power limiter slider to get the correct horse power. Only ABS +1 and
no other aids. I like the feel and the sound of the streamliner, if there's
no other feedback does anyone else have any other ideas for Tuesday?
We don't have to race the Audi, it was just a thought.

Nordschleife - 400bhp / 1,200kg
Spa - 450bhp / 1,200kg
Trial Mountain - 500bhp / 1,200kg
