I like my suggestion better.

A few other examples for race classification:

McLaren MP4/4 - Formula 1
Porsche 917 - Group 6
Mazda 787B - Group C2
That Jeff Gordon car that was polled a while back - NASCAR Winston Cup stock car
Audi R8 - LMP900
Audi R10 - LMP1

Basically, just go by what class the car raced in, or what regulations the car was built to meet.

Except to most people 'Group 6' by itself is meaningless and ambiguous, whereas if you then explain what a 'Group 6' car is (ie. Group 6 sports prototype coupé) that ambiguity is cleared.

Makes sense. As long as we can avoid calling an F1 car a "0-door roadster" or anything like that, it's fine with me.

The correct description of an F1 car would probably be "open wheel single seater", but if it's an F1 car or an Indycar, I think 'F1 car' or 'Indycar' will suffice.

I've updated the OP to include this stipulation in nominations

It's going to be SU without a doubt.

Personally, I don't actually hate the car. On it's own, I'd give it a cool. But the rapper sterotype, along with it being the car of choice for people who can't choose cars properly (read: the average 10-17 year old) does drop it pretty hard. I'm going to vote a sympathetic uncool.

That reminds me, the Life L190 was classed as a 0-door roadster in its thread.

@Jahgee1124 I'm making a post and updating posts/OPs. Once I've done that, it's yours on one condition. If you ever get tired of it (and you will), hand it off to someone else rather than killing it.

To everyone else, well, I was hoping I'd hold on to it for at least a year, but it's been an un-fun drudge for the better part of the time I've had it and at this point I'd rather do almost anything except make a Cool Wall post - hence why I'm always posting them late at night (early in the morning for some people), doing them a day late, skipping them entirely and then doing two at once, etc. One more post, and it's time to hand over the keys to the castle.

I'll try to get Jordan on board tomorrow so he can transfer ownership of the OPs.

Will I ever give it another go? I don't know. Things change, and maybe there will come a time when I'd enjoy making these. But that time is not now.

I'll go ahead and throw in there that as much as I disagreed with almost all of your opinions, I do think that you did a good job running the Cool Wall. I had my worries at the very beginning, but you've proved them wrong, and you ended up being a fair and fine stewart of the Cool Wall. Thanks for your tenure, and we'll see you around.

If it's specifically the Blitzen you've used an image of, I feel that will change the vote versus the whole line. Just saying.

Bah. Finally thought of what I felt would be an excellent first submission, but given the rules in the OP, I don't think the car is strictly eligible. Damn.

I'd like to nominate the Sunbeam Stiletto.
I'd like to nominate the Maserati Ghibli II.

@Mike458 Are you just nominating the Mk3 Robin as indicated by the years you listed? Or any model year including the Mk1 and Mk2 Robin? Since that image is of an early 90s Mk2.

If it's only the Mk3 you want polled, use this photo instead. If not, you might want to change the years to '1973-1981 & 1989-2002'. 👍

I am nominating any Reliant to the cool wall. I apologize for the confusion, changing now.

According to this article, the 2015 model is rumored to include a 6-speed manual. But for now we'll have to deal with the automatic. Even without a manual, I still think this is a cool car. A big V8 in a 4-door sedan with RWD? Hell yeah!
