M1...... .30-06......... even though it doesn't work anymore, only this could describe what I'm feeling >>>>

One of my favorite items from WWII, even including planes, ships, tanks & everything!

@ David
Get one while they are still somewhat available and in good shape. These things in good condition are getting tougher to find unless you shell out some big $$$. I almost bit on one a few months back (at a much higher cost - in store purchase), but held off in hopes of landing one at a gun show. Well, this one is at an FFL dealer, and the price was soooo right, what the hell, sign me up for it.

Your correct David, there is something special about shooting these things. They are a historical treat.

a6m5 - it's a clean shooter, verified by the seller.
It even comes with 2 extra mags and 60 rounds of ammo.

*I'll post more detailed pics when it arrives home*

Ooooops, just caught that ... sorry man, my bad.

No smilies is making it a little more difficult, thus my mis-interpretation of your post.

All good.

The emoticons will be making a comeback. Right now, they are temporarily unavailable to use.

Oh my god, that is freakin' beautiful, dude! Nicely done.👍

Walmart ammunition availability update: Tula 9mm were in stock, same CCI .22LR I bought couple weeks ago were in stock, and lastly, Winchester .45ACP Super Value Pack that went from $29.99 to $41.99, it's now down to $38.99. :P

A wooden dowel and some gentle hammer blows work, thats how I do sight adjustments all the time. Some WD40 sprayed in the dovetail makes moving it even easier.
If I would go to the gunsmith whenever I need sights adjusted....man. That would be annoying.

Both my 1911 & Ruger SR22 pistols have adjustable sights. :embarrassed:

On the Glock 17 I used to have, I did adjust the rear sight once, but I can't remember what I used...... I think I may have just put a folded t-shirt over the sight & gently tapped it with rubber mallet or hammer.

Check this out, Remingtons coming up with a new smart-scope for the masses. http://www.guns.com/2013/09/25/remington-2020-smart-scopes-masses/

The first thing that popped into my mind is that they put a GPS tracker into that thing.

My opinion is that its huge, ugly and for those who are too lazy to learn proper shooting skills like learning the holdovers for your loads, reading wind and guessing ranges. It IS a scope for the masses, the stupid masses.

Don't forget to buy the tripod with the integrated auto-trigger and smart aiming device that aims and fires then gun for you while you're sitting in the shade sipping a milkshake.

Oh yes. I don't like to practice my marksmanship so I need all that too!!!

If you haven't gotten the sarcasm yet, Zeus help you.
