WT* is UTS-15? Sorry.

No, no more waiting. At least get a samurai sword, or anything! Pepper spray?
The UTS-15 is a Turkish shotgun notable for its top-loading tubes and bullpup layout. I'm using one in the embedded video on my last post.

I already appendix carry a lethal pepperoni every day. I need to wait for a deal, damn it!

Have you ever considered getting a Desert Eagle?

If you look past all the TV cliché and video game stuff its actually a pretty darn good handgun for what it is.
And I'm not talking about the .50AE model here, I'm talking about the 44 magnum.

I've shot a friends Desert eagle multiple times and it was just wonderful. HOT .44 magnum loads with a soft slow recoil that allows fast follow up shots, glass smooth action, extreme accuracy and surprisingly good ergonomics.
Also I think its pretty good looking and with my arms and size its not really that big at all! :dopey:

I'm a total GLOCK fan (I'm an Austrian after all) but I have to say, if you want some power, affordable ammo in a fun package you do not intend to carry the Desert Eagle is a viable option.

The desert eagle is the muscle car in the world of pistols, the Glock is an indestructible reliable little 4x4.

Man, now I want one.

I subscribed to Hickok many years ago, I love this guy and his dry sense of humor! :D

I tried to watch Nutnfancy for a while but I simply can't stand him nor his friends no matter how hard I try. Hes cool and does cool stuff for sure but I've never seen anybody so in love with his own voice. And he is too much dudebro. Though I totally envy him for having such a cool, gigantic range. :dopey:

Also I'm not much of a fan of the ''new'' desert eagle, I could live without the wonky compensator and the ugly rails. This should be a smooth pistol not a freaking handsaw.

I look at the gun Hickok45 used, and you can tell the craftsmanship is sub-par it just doesn't seem to have a nice build quality. Just seems like a quick stamped manufacture gun, if I ever wanted a 50AE I'd buy an older one from the 90s.

Love Hickok, love Nutnfancy too, but I agree with what Michael said. They both have shooting range from our dreams. :embarrassed::(

Sounds awesome. 👍

I did not ask for this. Wait, I probably did.

This is true for pretty much all firearms. The older they are the higher the quality, fit and finish and craftsmanship.
So if you want to buy a firearm, any firearm, it best to get a very early manufacturing date.

Pretty sad. Thats why I love WWI and WW2 era vintage guns so much, you find quality in them which is sorely missing in firearms nowadays. At least in mass produced firearms below the 5K price tag.

But this problem is prevalent in so many other things like cars, furniture, heck, even food. I'm really happy I can own those old guns - or rather artifacts- because they are one of the few remaining remnants of an era when craftsmanship was regarded very highly. That realization makes them even more valuable, at least to me.

May have just found another thing I am interested in buying:

Holy fuuu. This ticks all my boxes. I wonder if FN is going to update the FNS. Kinda seems pointless next to this new P10.

I agree, but there are certain companies that keep the manufacture quality great even in to the newer age, and then their are others that really just let themselves go, which is why I'm so hard on Ruger.

One thing I didn't like about the Glocks are their blocky-feeling grip. This CZ sounds like it has superior grip design & low MSRP of $500. Definitely another handgun to consider for me as well.

Every time I think about buying a Glock, I pick one up and remember instantly why I have never bought one.

I wonder how much better the Gen 4 are. Come to think of it, I've never held one. Just Gen 2 & 3.

So, just wanted to let you people know that my next goal is to get a permit for obtaining a pistol.
I'm a total rifle and shotgun guy myself but talking about that Desert Eagle made me feel all warm and fuzzy inside - and now I need one. Damn you all!

I'm gonna have to save some money though, they run for 2000 bucks around here.

I cannot remember if I have held a Gen 4 or not.
Gen 4 I think has couple of different size straps, and maybe the grip angle have changed, too? I'm just guessing.

This is great. :embarrassed: Is $2,000 like for Glocks, or Desert Eagle?

I am not sure how many different strap sizes there are, but I do not think the grip angle on the Gen 4 changed from the others.

Why not!? jk lol Glock's like my top choice by default, but man, they feel like a brick in my hands!

I had to visit a project site today and before heading back to the office, I picked up another handgun today at a gun store near the project site. :D I will try to get some pictures up later.

I just ditched my plans for getting a Desert Eagle. I just learned you cannot get them under close to 3 grands around here, plus another couple hundred bucks for the permit.- Thats just too much money.
Me sad. :indiff:

I've been thinking about conceal carry little bit lately. I don't know how much the permit cost, but I'd first need U.S. Citizenship to make that happen in the first place. When I researched it last, I think Citizenship cost around $800~$900(plus the written test, of course). Compact pistol, say a Glock would set me back $600(gun, background check, maybe another mag).

I could justify like one of those expenses, but both would be too much for me. Unless I could get a full market value for the HK USP..... I don't know.
And here are the pictures:
Congrats! Sweet pistol. Grand master .22 plinker. 👍 Note: I do realize it's great for target shooting.

 I have zero attraction to the gun, but I am sorry to hear about the price. Still no interest in practical 9mm, .45ACP, etc.?

That's just glocks for you, though I'd say XDs feel the same and cost more so... CZ are quality guns and make great competition pieces, and regular carries. And look cool.
