How'd you get those map images from Google!?

Everytime I try to leave the US, it says "Cannot provide image."
Please post a link to how you got to all of those. 👍

Great thread, and lots of hard work put in so far.

I have been playing GT since the first version and never realised that the Tokyo track was real. Very interesting to see that it is real, especially the photo tour.

I have stayed in the water front hotel in Hong Kong a couple of years ago and remember walking along the riverfront foot paths that we now race along. I'm going back at the end of this year so will defiantly have a another look around this areas after spending some more time lapping this track.

Do you know if the roads used for El Capitan are real? If so, try to find them.

I live in California and I have just been to Yosemite not long ago. So I am pretty sure it was fake. The El Capitan rock is real though, but the track isn't.

I am guessing Costa di Amalfi should be somewhere here but I couldn't make sense out of it...

That is the town of Praiano just west of Amalfi

That course is supposed to be on the island of Capri, west of the area you've selected. The main straight is real scenery, but I don't think the course itself is real. If you watch a replay of a run on that course, the "back" side of the island is not very well modeled, and the size of the course isn't big enough to actually reach the other side of the island, in my opinion.
