My brother and I have been playing through the game slowly. We're level 38 or something. What's the current fastest way to get XP, level up and most importantly, get wheel spins?
I play around in the dunes by the airport you can get do fast without having to worry about traffic.

I'm still in love with this game. Granted I took some time out to enjoy the Bikers update for GTA V, but once I abused that scooter dupe glitch and got to $70million, I came right back to FH3. :)

For the Forzathon today/tomorrow.. Do you need to do an online drag race to get the car?

Regarding Achievements and such, I'm also nearing 100%. I've only been getting 1 Achievement a day (got a TrueAchievements streak that I'm 20 days into) and not particularly grinding in Single Player so most of the progress has come naturally.

Once I'm done though I'll probably hang around for the occasional live stream or Forzathon event, but Horizon won't be my main game anymore, as I have new content in Rocket League and Overwatch to try out, plus a few freebies in my download queue. I gave up on Forza Motorsport 6 a long time ago; already have all the Achievements and was fed up with the crashiness of Multiplayer.

I've enjoyed Horizon so far, but it's definitely a "one month game" in my opinion and doesn't have enough depth in its Multiplayer to keep me coming back for half a year.

There are no offline drag races, so yes. Join a Car Meet and enter a Showdown.

Drag races (Car Meet Showdowns) are an opt-in feature when you're in a Car Meet. They can have between 2 and 12 players but usually you get around 5 at most.

The drag races themselves have a handicapping system where lower Class cars get a head start of a few seconds. As it's a straight dash to the finish line I haven't noticed any of the usual shenanigans that accompany Public Multiplayer racing; most people just drive in a straight line and don't bother trying to take you out.

Sweet thanks for the tip!

You know how you can drift etc and rack up skill points? Does that help you level up? There was a few times where we had crazy skill points by drifting etc, and the orange wheel at the top filled up etc. Like it was like 400,000 or something lol. Does that contribute to leveling up? It's probably a dumb question, but my brother mostly plays. I watch and take a few turns cuz i'm gunna play with my friend later.

The Goliath circuit, though I don't think you have unlocked it yet (need Level 5 Byron Bay). It's pretty long though and you need to stack some bonuses for the best rewards.

Oh yea! That's what I remember reading earlier! Yeah, I don't think we've unlocked it. Thanks a lot! :)

You do get some XP for maintaining long skill chains, but it's usually more efficient to go racing. That meter you saw tracks the skill points you're earning.

No access to FM6 means FH3 is going to be my go-to car game for the next year or so... Oh well, fine by me. Makes it worth the money, I guess.

I've been switching it up with Europa Universalis 4 of late. Don't even have 200 hours on EU4 - makes me a complete noob, by that game's standards

I don't know if I'm just picky or what but does it annoy anyone else that when you change the exhaust it doesn't physically change, so use to that on GT. Not sure if that's how it is for regular Forza titles too.

They have also proved they have no idea how to model grip off road. The Trophy Truck for example sits and spins all its power away like it's on ice whenever you're not on pavement. If they knew anything about how off road tyres work, they'd know (especially ones used in racing) are designed to dig into the ground like claws. Watch a trophy truck come off the line and you won't believe how quickly they accelerate off road.

As I was on lap 18 about to enter the beach all of a sudden the game starts trying to make me loose by throwing cars at me this escort came out of nowhere as I was going 175 I'm in the gt

I have a strange issue that seems to occur on a fairly average basis. So, I'm just playing the game and all is well, connected to Xbox Live and the Horizon servers as normal and then....BAM!

'The Profile has changed. The game will now reset.'

When this comes up it literally forces me to turn the game on and off, there's no rhyme or reason to why it happens. The Xbox dash then also says 'Bye Bye Brendan!' but when I check my dash I'm still logged in?

It just seems to hit me inconsistently. It's not a huge issue but I can imagine it being frustrating if it were to hit on a long race or doing the Goliath circuit. I'm just wondering if anyone else has this problem and why the 'profile changing' even warrants this resetting of the game, seems totally stupid and over the top.

I have a hard copy of the game FWIW.

I have my Ethernet connection hooked up to a Powerline adapter which then goes through a network switch, I'm wondering if the Xbox One S deals with it's connections different to the Wii U and PS4 (which I've never had issues with) and that's why it's happening. Perhaps related, occasionally I get logged out of Xbox Live for a few seconds at points too but not often.

Selling a duplicate focus rs horizon edition starting price 200,000 set for 24hrs it's dark red and fully upgraded with no tune.

Try without the powerline adaptor and see if it makes a difference. Not the first time I see strange things happening with these kind of solutions.
Will do, just frustrating since no other device has had issues with the adapter (if that is the problem).

🤬 the rubberbanding.
I swear that it gets worse when you play in co-op. I forget what race it was, but it's an offroad trail race in the Outback that crosses over itself near the end. The rubberbanding is so bad, that the guy in last place actually skips the crossing-over bit and just goes straight to the finish!

The street races are utterly ridiculous.

Haha same thing happened to me last night. But this one though was when I just got onto the beach and all of a sudden a C63 HE (or whatever it's called) came flying over me and literally destroyed itself.

I once saw a Veyron SS that was stuck behind the wall just after the north-most bridge in western Surfers when in my HE Viper. About 2 minutes later it was under my spoiler by the time I got to the Silver Sands Shipwrecks.

Were you seriously expecting a handling model like SpinTires? The Horizon games never intended to emulate such things.

I just expected it to not take upwards of 10 seconds to hit 30kmh from a standstill.
