They have also proved they have no idea how to model grip off road. The Trophy Truck for example sits and spins all its power away like it's on ice whenever you're not on pavement. If they knew anything about how off road tyres work, they'd know (especially ones used in racing) are designed to dig into the ground like claws. Watch a trophy truck come off the line and you won't believe how quickly they accelerate off road.
Did you seriously expect Horizon to be a full on off-road driving sim or something?

Harakudoshi, I think you're forgetting something. Trophy trucks and all other offroad vehicles lower their tire PSI to get more grip on loose surfaces. By the sound of it, you're running the trophy truck at default tire PSI (30) instead of lowering it to fit the surface. Of course it's going to take forever to accelerate - the stiff tires aren't getting any grip.

I've got it at 1 bar, which is about 15 psi. Lowest it'll go.

Forza has never done a good job of modelling tyre pressures. And it makes even less of a difference in Horizon.

I appreciate the advice though

Being the devil's advocate here, but...
A simcade like Horizon needs to make compromises in order to make the game accessible to even beginners.

I understand.

My original comment in of itself was extremely subjective. And the grip or lack thereof isn't the worst part about the Baldwin. A factual complaint is the suspension isn't even close to modelled correctly. Not nearly enough travel. And it's not as if they can't do it, because the Class 10 buggies have their travel modelled practically perfectly.

Had a good productive day, i have been grinding the Championships for the last week and have completed 40/63 of them, done 58/63 Exhibitions too, then i went on a sign hunt and a handful more, got around 100/150 of them now, up to level 161 by the way, also got the Ford GT he on a wheelspin, so yeah its been good 👍

I can't help but notice that's in the Gran Turismo 6 section, not FH3.
I am keenly aware. I asked McClarenDesign the same thing and he said:
It's only an issue if someone complains. With clear expectation that it's allowed, the admins won't care because they've got other stuff to work on.

So unless someone helps me split it off and turn it into an FH3 thread, it'll just run alongside the GT6 club.

I knew there was a reason Failrace was my favourite Car Game YouTube channel.

Looks like Alex was just as sick and tired of the S14 moaning as most of us ;D

And I thought Alex wouldn't want to defy the S14's "fanbase", but he proved me wrong like something fierce. It's not a common video for someone who makes fun and fresh FH3 videos with their own set of rules, but I can't say he shouldn't have done it. Such is the way of British humor...

I'm not sure why someone would presume to know what the staff think.

Posting an FH3 community-minded event in the GT6 section makes about as much sense as someone holding a GT6 hot lap session here. The Beater or Sleeper stuff seems like a fun way to connect the community, so why host it outside of the very area it's meant to include?

I've reported the post so it can be moved to the appropriate section.

Edit: I've fixed the issue.

I'm on two squads now. I guess being nearly level 200 helps.
I believe I'm on 7, or 9. I'm barely at around 13mil fans and have hardly progressed because I shoot to much photos  I'm surprised anyone has kept me with how slow I'm moving forward.

It took me being level 200 before I got people, I think I'm like 70% complete, just have to complete champiomships, 13/63 of those done

I'm part of 12 line-ups. Haven't been hired (or (ever) fired) in well over a week now. I'd love to hire some folks from here but the game keeps throwing random people at me.

:indiff:
