Im sure they've got some crazy stuff planned for DLC.

I mean when FH2 launched it only had 220 cars and ended up with 320+, Crazy Off-roaders, some of my now favorite cars in the franchise (LM002, Alfa 4C, 15' Camaro Z28, MG Metro 6R4) and the Fast and Furious Vehicles.

So with FH3 launching with 370+ cars, we could see this game finishing with anywhere between 450-500 cars which is insane for an open-world racer.
I'm so satisfied with the current launch cars that I forgot DLC was even a thing... and the thought of over 100 (mostly) new cars makes me ecstatic! :D

Weren't we supposed to be getting a Polaris Slingshot or was that a car people were wishing that was supposed to come?

Someone shared this on Reddit so I will share it here. This is a post from a Turn10 staff member in a thread at the official Forzamotorsport.net forums discussing Unique visual upgrades for cars in FH3

A good start, but you'll be pretty busy, lol. Good news is the game's CARS tab in the menu will help you create your list more quickly than scanning through every car to see what's new.

It was important to us and Playground that, not only would we come up with a diverse car list of over 350 cars, but that we add more visual customization options for as many of them as we could. We added new visual upgrade parts for close to 100 cars, broadly grouped into these themes:

- Wide Body Kits, mainly those by Rocket Bunny/Pandem and Liberty Walk, but also some vintage flared bolt-on fenders. Total number of cars is somewhere between 20-25
- Rally and Offroad: things like light clusters, mudflaps, roof vents, bull-bars, 'roo bars, winches, etc. - these were added to a pretty large number of cars and trucks, somewhere between 45-50.
- Visible blowers: a lot of classic muscle cars now have a new hood option which includes a visible supercharger - somewhere around 20 cars.
- Roof Racks: not as many cars as the above got special roof racks, but there are some pretty unique roof racks that have been added, and a few unexpected surprises in store.

You can install these parts individually as usual, or use the new "upgrade presets" option to apply a complete upgrade package that also comes with additional performance and handling tuning by Playground's car handling gurus. The CARS tab in the menu now has an "upgrade heroes" tile that lets you browse cars which have the new upgrade presets available. You can also tinker with your car as usual after you install a preset upgrade package, changing performance parts, bumpers, wings, etc. if that car has multiple options.

"Upgrade Heroes" covers about half of the cars that have new parts added - there are still a lot cars with new visual upgrade options that didn't get equipped with a preset package. My favorite of these is the '75 Ford Bronco (SPOILER ALERT!........................................................................................you can now remove the roof!)

Going back on an earlier post of mine, I think I understand why Turn 10 & PG had a harder time including more road cars in FH3 this time round than they had in FM6. When they were adding cars for FM6, they just were mainly adding cars and the same parts from the previous games. In FH3, PG is adding new parts for multiple cars in the game, so they couldn't afford to license as many cars as in FM6.

Made a speculative list on the cars w/ widebody options, max of 25. Might do one for the other 3 catergories as well!

Forza Branded (the cars w/ vintage flared bolt-on fenders and other misc kits):
  1. 1969 Nissan Fairlady Z 432
  2. 1974 Toyota Celica
  3. 1985 Toyota Corolla AE86 (Surely)
  4. 2003 Nissan 350Z (Veliside, makes sense since it's already modelled for FH2/FM6)
  5. 1971 Nissan Skyline 2000 GT-R
  6. 1993/2002 Nissan Skyline R32/R34 (Surely one of them has to have something...right?)
Rocket Bunny/Pandem:
  1. 1997 BMW M3 E36 (Confirmed)
  2. 1993 Nissan 240SX SE (Confirmed)
  3. 1992 Honda NSX
  4. 1992 Nissan Silvia Club K's (V1)
  5. 2015 Lexus RC-F
  6. 2005 BMW M3 E46 (Pandem)
  7. 2016 Mazda MX-5 (Pandem)
  8. 1997 Mazda RX-7 FD3S (V2)
  9. 1994 Mazda MX-5 Miata (Pandem)
  10. 2013 Subaru BRZ/Toyota GT86 (Pandem V3)
Liberty Walk:
  1. 2012 Nissan GT-R (Confirmed)
  2. 2014 BMW M4 (Confirmed)
  3. 2012 Infiniti IPL (G37)
  4. 2015 Dodge Challenger Hellcat
  5. 2010 Lamborghini Murcielago (Type II or Limited20)
  6. 2013 Audi R8
  7. 2014 Lamborghini Huracan
  8. 2012 Lamborghini Aventador
  9. 2008 BMW M3 E92
Hopefully we'll see more customization post launch and cars added in DLC will come with added customization :)

20-25 cars for wide bodies.
Vintage flare kits. I'm calling AE86, '74 Celica, 240Z, Mini, Fiat 500, Fiesta, Fiat X1/9, Opel Kadett. Maybe not even this many.

Edit: Deleted the SR5. It already has factory over fenders. Inserted '74 Celica.

Edit 2: Deleted the Mazdas and inserted the Fiat X1/9. Oddball choice but, we'll see.

Sounds about right. 7 cars in each Car Pass pack, of which tehre are 6, is 42 extra cars. That takes us up to (if we start at 370 for easiness) 411 cars once the pass is over, and that's not counting any possible expansions, Porsche packs, non-Car Pass DLC, etc.

I definitely expect about 450 cars to be in this game by the end which is insane.

Playing Forza 3 right now before I jump back into Forza 2 (I'm doing it wrong aren't I?) and I'm super excited for the return of storefront. Most Downloaded, Top Rated, etc.

Hopefully this also means they're for sale so more people will make them as well.

I'm also looking forward to custom races. I'm digging Historic car racing with the Escort in F6 and PCars. I think AC have Escorts as well. A Trans Am under 2000cc Class is in order.

Please for the love of all things Jeep, have some offroad kits for the Grand Wagoneer...

So, got to level 50 in FM3... "have a fap".

Seriously, they were frugal as hell with giving away credits, barely spending anything and I only got 1.6 million.
