They (and the song) began on TV in the 60s (at least in the UK), as a small child I always found the theme slightly sinister

It's not a banana. It's simply a bad livery but I do appreciate that Renault are injecting some colour into our monochromatic grid.

Seeing it on track reminded me of the McLaren test livery. Don't know why I didn't see it sooner really.
