@Ridox2JZGTE not sure what power parts should be installed on R34?

@danbojte my forehead is tattooed for next event: "Nismo".. Those suit my driving style best, one for every race, good :)

@Ridox, R32: nice stable, throwable body, good if want to go fast and sometimes play a bit.
R33: piece of fun, softer tail, moderate power, good package, excellent for throwing in corners, asks bit more from driver, but gives double back.
R34: endurance car, bit pieces of both above, but still own personality, bit boring to comparing older brothers..too good as most GTR's are :)

Thank you, everyone, for recognizing the MoTeC thread receiving attention on the front page of GTPlanet. I haven't used the MoTeC software in a long time, but it really can be an awesome tool...

@danbojte that is a killer internet connection you have. I have 100Mbit downstream but only 5Mbit upstream...that's pathetic upstream speed.

I didn't realize that the R34 and Mitsubishi Lancer Evo were added to the list of eligible cars for tomorrow's event. I haven't done any testing at all...I am going to have to get on my PS3 ASAP and start driving some of these cars. I have a couple already built, but I don't believe I have the R34 or Mitsubishi EVO built yet. I promise I will give you a car entry danbojte...I apologize for being so late - I haven't been playing GT6 much this week.

@Thorin Cain - Absolutely wonderful race recap from last week's event. Now I'm even more upset for missing the event with you guys! :grumpy: I'm not so great on Suzuka, but it really is one of the best tracks in GT6, in my opinion, due to the layout and difficulty level. Congrats @joaosoarescso for setting the fastest lap! That's awesome dude... 👍

I'm already getting excited about running Mount Panorama tomorrow morning with you guys. I have a feeling we are going to have some really good racing on that tight mountain circuit. Once I get back from picking my Sonata up from the mechanic I will hop on my PS3 and be testing at Bathurst...unless there is already a room created, I will create one and post in here to let people know testing is available. :)

@OdeFinn Come and join me and @Thorin Cain in the Practice Event.
Darn...I have to leave in a few minutes to pick my car up from the shop, otherwise I would join you...I will be on my PS3 as soon as I get home... Hopefully you'll still be around, but I understand with the time difference you may not be. If I dont see you in the practice sessions, I will see you tomorrow for the actual event! 👍

No problem at all, just please rest and wake up in time. :) 👍

This is excellent! 👍

Thanks @ALB123, It's a shame you missed it, Suzuka really is a great track. Hopefully we go again some time and you can make it. As for tomorrow....

....just please rest and wake up in time. :) 👍
:D

I just created a Practice room...I'll be in there for a while. @danbojte, you can list me as running the R32 the first race.

Oh no..looks like my PS3 locked up while trying to create this practice room. Online is such a piece of crap in this game! Well, I will reboot the PS3 and then create a practice room... :banghead:

Hmm, well we gonna have fun, thinking of going thru Nismos in age order, starting from R32.
That's a good idea. I don't have all of the cars. I think I only have the R32, R34 and Subaru. I own an R33 that has a different Ridox Tune applied, but unfortunately, the tune required an oil change so I can't use that base car and apply the tune for this event. I don't want to buy another one either...At least I have 3 of the cars eligible.

Whomever had the bright idea of making oil changes boost your horsepower and torque at PD should be tarred & feathered.

Suzuka Circuit 2014.jpg

The Grid - 1-Joaosoarescso, 2-Brewguy, 3-Thorin Cain, 4-danbojte, 5-OdeFinn.

A better start all round this time, everyone get away safely. Joaosoarescso, Thorin and danbojte starting on the Medium compound tyre this race.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_1.jpg

Thorin gets the jump on Brewguy and danbojte has to back off a little going into turn 1, allowing OdeFinn to move ahead.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_2.jpg

Brewguy looses rear grip and goes off in the S Curves allowing OdeFinn and danbojte to move up the places.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_3.jpg

Danbojte runs a little wide on exit to Spoon and touches the curb and grass, causing a spin. Brewguy takes advantage and comes past on the back straight...
Suzuka Circuit 2014_4.jpg

...Then goes deep into the Casino Triangle. Danbojte goes back past to 4th.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_5.jpg

Thorin makes a mistake at the hairpin, allowing Odefinn to close in, then puts a wheel on the grass in turn 12 and spins out. OdeFinn luckily misses the spinning Thorin by inches and goes by to 2nd place.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_6.jpg

On the next lap, Thorin goes into Degner a little too hot and slides a bit, loosing momentum for the second turn. Danbojte gets a good exit to Degner 2 and passed Thorin on the straight before the hairpin.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_7.jpg

The first driver to pit is Joaosoarescso. This allows OdeFinn, danbojte and Thorin to move ahead, relegating himself back to 4th.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_8.jpg

Brewguy pits too and is in that much a rush to get back on track he doesn't allow the front wheelmen and lollipop guy to clear the car first.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_9.jpg

OdeFinn makes his stop on the next lap and danbojte and Joaosoarescso go by.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_10.jpg

Thorin makes his stop on the same lap. All clear :P And danbojte stops one lap later allowing joaosoarescso and OdeFinn to move back ahead to 1st and 2nd.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_11.jpg

Joaosoarecso puts a wheel on the grass in the braking zone to turn 1 and runs deep and wide into the sand. Odefinn takes advantage of the mistake to lead the race. With joaosoarescso in second and danbojte not too far behind in 3rd.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_12.jpg

OdeFinn opens up a big gap over the two in the next two laps. And on the final lap danbojte smells blood.
Suzuka Circuit 2014_13.jpg

After a few minor hiccups by Joaosoarescso danbojte goes up the inside in Degner 2 and takes 2nd place.
The race ends with Odefinn from danbojte and joasoarescso followed quite a bit behind by Thorin Cain. Brewguy, after spinning out in 130R and going for a beer, ends the race in the pits 3laps down.

After the race the stewards got involved and OdeFinn was docked two places for an indiscretion.

Race Results.

Winner - danbojte
2nd - joaosoarescso
3rd - Odefinn
4th - Thorin Cain
5th - Brewguy

Fastest lap - 2:20.807 - danbojte.

That concludes the Keiichi Tsuchiya tribute race events at Suzuka 2014. Paying tribute to the Drift King by using Japan's own Supercar, the Honda NSX-R '02. Tuned to replicate the personal car, Dori Dori himself has set-up. Another fine product of Ridox Replica Garage. Provided of course, by @Ridox2JZGTE

Congratulations to our race winners @danbojte and @OdeFinn . And to @joaosoarescso for the event's fastest lap of 2:20.057 Great job!

Thanks to all who took part and made this such a great, fun event. Hope to see you all in OZ :gtpflag:

I was second in the last race? Yayy, and I'm not sure I'll be able to join all of you at bathrust, and I haven't practice one bit.

Hopefully if I get work done quickly then I have to go to the bank, which normally takes long, that's why I hate banks.

Maybe I'll do a mini version of the event in the club lobby.

Sorry, I have been buys last few days, hence I can only get on GTP now. For R34, only install intake tuning using 350HP spec for Bathurst race :) Be sure to try the Sti and Evo X, they also offers good fun to drive.

Will get back to you all soon :)

I have approx 3 lap per car practice, so not a big deal.

Ok, thanks, tested few laps both, and my guessing of power were right, so I tested with right power, GTR was just more.. :) see you soon.

Created my own club room ( under club ), testing the evo X, my gosh, 20% water constant and still pulling 2:32s flat on lap 5 and low 2:32s on lap 6 with almost 75% front tires and barely worn rears. Got 1:55s best last sector on lap 5, should have been low 2:31s, but flat 2:32 instead :grumpy: Braked too early on conrod :( Average 1st sector 23s ( low ), 1:17s low on 2nd sector ( downhill ) and 1:56/57s last sector. The RALLIART Evo X excel most in downhill section, capable of good grip on wet ( the chicane can be taken pretty aggressive and it will turn even on 75% front tires ) Top speed at Conrod, just over 155mph.
