Edit: Thanks @OdeFinn, got the replays:cheers:

@Thorin Cain , you got this one good :bowdown:, no speed with this one, I couldn`t even use slipstream on the straights, you all pulled off from me :grumpy:, the car handled really well but just didn`t cut it, and the driver :eek:, well he didn`t do that bad, just not that great. Nice race buddy,
Sorry, meant to get back to this earlier :guilty:, then there was a race, then another then well.... You know how it goes :rolleyes:

Well it was about time I got one and in an AWD car too :eek: WT.....
I was surprised by the punch of the Evo, It felt slower than most of the GT-Rs to me until I got on track for race 1. It was nowhere near as agile as the Subaru though, That thing is a monster once you get to the hill, I was that impressed by the speed it went through the downhill section I've since gone and painted it New Imola Orange Pearl :sly: You got it Lucky, @Brewguy44 had to try and keep up with the Skylines :P

I just never got it :banghead:, my best lap on line was in the 1:34.xxx and that was always with the tank at least 1/2 way empty, that's 4 seconds of the turn :crazy: when I hit that mark which didn't happen often :rolleyes:. Our good friend @danbojte was able to get in the 1:30's with the same car đź‘Ť so I should have at least been able to get in the 1:32's, I'm really disappointed with my driving

on this event, I'll have to upgrade my skills for the next one.

Well, my week just keeps getting worse and worse. First, my liver enzymes were severely elevated so I had to have an unplanned biopsy at my 6 month checkup...That was fun. :nervous: Then I ended up at the emergency room at 4:30am this morning due to a rapidly climbing fever. Because of my transplant, 105F and I MUST go to a hospital or risk losing the graft. :grumpy: I was in the hospital all freakin' day... It sucked. But, I am finally home with some antibiotics to take for the next 9 days... :banghead:

I can't wait to hear more about the races.

:( That's really a bummer, hope you can get better soon as possible.

I'm thinking about releasing a car for next week or use same cars ( AWD ) but on diffe. It's a clio cup MK3 replica ( as close it can get ), tested at Brands Hatch Indy, 50s lap on RH tire, real life record there was 52.2s I think, so SS tire should be good. Having thoughts of Silverstone National or Stowe for the clio :)

I'll be dealing with health issues the rest of my life, unfortunately... :( I get migraine headaches all the time too, which is a side effect of one of the medications that I have to take for the rest of my life. Those really suck! đź‘Ž

Hmmm...A Renault Clio?? Obviously, I am good to go with whatever is called for, but I will state for the record that I hate front-wheel drive cars in GT6! :lol: Heck, I hate them in real life too! :D This is the second week in a row that I've gone out and bought new cars, paid to tune them to meet the Ridox Replica Fan Club race specs, spent a couple hours practicing and then missed the racing. :mad: :banghead: There was obviously no way I could have prevented what happened yesterday morning, but two weeks ago -- I was so pumped up to race that NSX-R around Suzuka... :( :grumpy:

@TurnLeft
I whipped very hard the WRX for that lucky lap. The car was my third choice, anyway. Maybe I should have practice with that one much more. It is available to you too. :D I'll keep saying this: Practice, practice and then, practice.
I'll share something from my own experience even though I don't know if it's available to you all.
Try to narrow your involvement to what you really like and focus on those. This way you'll free your mind and the time allocated to them will fit better. đź‘Ť

@ALB123
I'm very sorry to hear that and for not having you in the great races yesterday, really. I'm sure you'd like them much. I wish you good health and hopefully you'll make the next ones. đź‘Ť

Edit:
Oh and yes of course, we'll redo the Events anytime we feel we want to. We already have the cars prepared for them. :cheers:

I totally agree with you đź‘Ť, but to choose what I really like is getting harder to do as time ticks away, there's so much that I like to do and so little time in a day and in a life. I use to practice 6 to 8 hours a day to become a great bass player, ended up with some serious hand problems that forced me to adopt a "little of everything" attitude, and then there is choice of things you want to do while here on earth with the little time we have allocated, I've already been here for more than half a century on earth and I haven't had time to do 1/1000 of what I want to do :lol:, and I keep finding new interests all the time :crazy:. That's probably why I sleep only 4 to 7 hours a day, my mind tells my body to "get up, you got things to do". I'll make it through my disappointment :grumpy: and will be there for the next race, BTW one of the things that I really like is sharing time with all of you đź‘Ť.

My thoughts and prayers go to you my friend, you are an amazing person, you've got more life in you than most of the people on this planet. I'm really glad that I've got to know you a tiny bit, it's made being here on these forums so much more enjoyable. I know you do take care of yourself but I'm still going to tell you to take care buddy :lol:, :cheers:.

1st Race, last lap just started and I'm searching apex, damn, missed 'coz that sunlight :I There goes changes to try overtake and second on podium was resulst.

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit_6.jpg

3rd Race, just few aims to apexes, well I'm scandinavian.. :) - Directing to my entry point.

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit_7.jpg

..Hitting apex from that entry point.

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit_8.jpg

Just flying in chicane..

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit_11.jpg

Into entry point..

Mount Panorama Motor Racing Circuit_12.jpg

..flicked and headed to apex.

1st Rcee, started to count my fuel, approx race time, lap amount and thinking what and when I should refuel, stupid thing, there goes one lap under bench and @danbojte catches me up, toke pitstop and started to chase him from last position, four last laps just trying to get close enough, but no, no mistakes from him, no chance, then my last chances got flushed on 1st corner of last lap. DIDN'T SEE APEX .. AAARGH.. okey those four laps were really enjoyable, trying to catch his R34 with my R32. Well raced Dan.

2nd Race, not much of stories, let's say like this, had malfunction on gauges, and my earplugs were too deep in my ears, lost lot of time while digging plugs out from ears to hear engine revs, hard to change gears without any signal from engine ;) Car was fun to drive, tail was more than happy, and it takes orders pretty well, when I say sit it sits and when roll it rolls, good car, I'll give you a piece of sausage.

3rd Race, got good start from frontline(or pole?) and had good change to push big lead, @Thorin Cain was keeping on my back long untill on Hells corner(?) he pushed bit too much and went on grass. Rest of race it was more and less practicing car handling on lead.

As an Scandinavian I had to say, I like those GTR's, really well flicking cars ;)

Excellent, just fix the pics if you can. đź‘Ť

Thanks for the kind words everyone! :)

Unfortunately, @danbojte, I am leaving to meet a couple friends for breakfast in a few minutes...there is a nice diner that we go to often on Sundays. Also, just a heads up for everyone, so no one ever thinks I'm ignoring them - I often leave my web browser open to GTPlanet and if on my desktop machine, it will always say I'm online because it doesn't go to sleep. Same with my PS3 - I'll occasionally go a week without shutting it off - so it will report I'm on GT6 even though I'm no where near my PS3. :D I hate how long it takes to boot up the PS3 and start GT6, so I leave it running often. When I'm in the mood to play, I wanna play NOW! :lol:

@ALB123 @OdeFinn @Thorin Cain
I see you're online. Would you like to race again (some of you)?
:banghead: Sorry just had to go off-line for a bit. I have to give up the TV for a little while :( If there's anyone racing when I get back I'll come and join đź‘Ť

Great pictures :) It looks like you were having a lot of fun in the GT-Rs :D I was watching the first race replay before I went offline. The last 4 laps was great to watch. The pit strategies made for a great finish, you and @danbojte were both driving really well đź‘Ť
I notice you avoided showing any pictures of the front of your car ;) Sorry about that :embarrassed: it was an aggressive move I thought was fair, I didn't even notice any contact at the time :eek: Looking back it was a bit adventurous. My bad :dopey:

I agree with everybody else, take care of yourself and I'm glad I met you and everybody else here. I've made some friends at GTPlanet and it's a lot of fun here and on the PS3 racing with all of you đź‘Ť

Same here, I leave Firefox open and just minimize it and put my laptop to sleep. That way I don't have to resign in all the time. It's a lot easier
