@Thorin Cain Excellent! Excellent race report, my friend. 👍 Thank you very much for doing this.

I used both tyre compounds required. :odd:

Now due to your report, the stewards gave to @OdeFinn a 2,000,000 Cr. fine and 40 push-ups, for not using the mandatory racing number.

Thanks again for doing this @Thorin Cain .
It was my pleasure :) I don't know about the tyres. I flicked through the race in the time sheet and only saw SH next to my name  might be another bug.

...and 40 push-ups!?
Very cool race report @Thorin Cain, I had short session online, tested all the cars for Bathurst, 2:32s on normal pace ( CS ). Also tested my lovely Mitsubishi GTO MR, can compete with 370HP. I can't post the R34 and RALLIART yet, will do ASAP. I had to help whoosiergirl clear her name on NASCAR Daytona thread in tuning forum, so not much time left. :D
Thinking of allowing only one time use of each car, so it will be more fun ? The cars will be R32, R33, R34, RALLIART Evo X, Sti R205 and Mitsubishi GTO MR.
Thank you sir :)
I see you are showing your chivalrous side again :) Whoosiergirl always seems to attract these attacks, some people just don't get that there are better drivers and tuners out there. I've seen so many of her posts in the seasonal threads getting the same sort of comments, she is just that good!

Yes I agree! @WhoosierGirl is that good!! 👍 all the other guys are just :scared: that a female is better than they are, Get over yourselves. I've talked to her a couple of times and she seemed nice. There were a couple of TT's where she was in the top 10! 👍 and I've seen a replay of one and all I can say is WOW!! I would never be able to keep up with her.

WhoosierGirl is a wicked cool person. I've had the pleasure of chatting with her via private messages fairly often and I think it's really crappy the way she gets treated just because she is female. Yes, I'm sure there are some white knights who like to sing her praises solely because she's female, but A) she doesn't anyone sticking up for her, she is not afraid of standing up for herself...no matter who starts trouble and B) she is pretty much an alien on the tracks, so she always gets to have the last laugh whenever someone challenges her about something GT6 related.

I was infuriated when I heard she was taking some time away from GTPlanet. Just as I have gotten friendly with most of the regulars in Ridox's Garage, I consider her a friend too, just like I consider you guys friends. Hopefully she will be back on GTPlanet in full force someday, sharing her screenshots and her tunes with us. We need more people like WhoosierGirl on GTP...and a lot less jerks. 👍

I tried following her once in her tune on a TT. She is wickedly fast, I had no chance :( Still improved my time by over a second though, but was nowhere near her by the end of the lap.

Okay, just preliminary setup that i have tested at Bathurst online with tire wear very fast, CS tire. Please test these online and let me know if there's anything need to be tweaked. Aim for 2:32s lap online, 23s first sector, 1:17s 2nd sector, and 1:56/57s last sector at conrod. Top speed should be around 155mph.

Oooh! Thanks Ridox! I'm getting very tired and I have a 1.5 hour drive (each way) to see my liver transplant doctors for a checkup tomorrow. But the cars...they beckon me!!! I hear whispers from the computer speakers "Drive me..." "A few laps won't hurt..." :D

I think I already have all 3 cars built. That's a huge plus. Maybe just a couple of laps before bed... :sly:

I had a little run out with each of these, and I mean a run out. I ran the car until it ran out of gas then changed to the next one :) So just about 7 or 8 laps in each.

I'd just like to get this out of the way. I'm nowhere near your target time, but then I'm not surprised and neither should anyone else be, most of us have seen my driving now:embarrassed:  I'm about 2 seconds off, which I'm happy with. It's not a track I know well although I enjoy it. I got real bored of it early on when every second seasonal seemed to come here and didn't go back for a while.

Anyway. I found the R33 and the Subaru both very close in performance over the lap. The R33 is a lovely driving car that pulls real well up the hill, it feels the heaviest of all but really planted. The subaru is, I'm afraid to say just awesome:bowdown: Not that fast on the straights but my it likes those corners. Especially on the downhill esses :D I was lapping within my acceptable margin of error easily in both of these.

But the R32 I couldn't get close, I was the best part of a second and a half off the (my) pace. It may just be the tiredness creeping in so I'll get back to you on this one, It felt quicker than the R33 but I just wasn't getting round as well :(

On another note, the tyre wear won't be an issue at all :) in fact can we leave the same set on and just refuel? Got to save all the credits we can :sly:

I've tested all the three cars. They are pretty well equalized. 👍 I felt the R205 a little bit slower.

If eventually, you'll make any changes to any car, please, edit the same post because I made links to it. :)

I love the cars, we'll have so much fun!
(I hope that, because my mother-in-law has very, very bad health problems so I don't know when the inevitable will happen...).

Thank you so much for the cars!

You are most welcome :) It was a pleasure. The R32 is good too, I had another go before I left for work. After a little BB adjustment and some good coffee to bring up the alertness level a bit it's right there with the others. It feels a bit down on speed compared to the R33 but more alive in the bends.

There should be some interethg races with these cars 👍

@danbojte my friend. That is sad to hear. My thoughts are also with you and your family at this difficult time.

(I hope that, because my mother-in-law has very, very bad health problems so I don't know when the inevitable will happen...).

Thank you so much for the cars!

The R205 slower as in lower top speed ? I have been thinking to add 5 HP more to 340HP to make it have more top speed, but the Sti is so quick on the corners, that I had to reduce power a lot as I was getting a second quicker than the rest  I'll find time to post the R34 and Evo X today.

:( I understand how you feel, I lost 2 of my aunt in the last 2 years. I pray for your mother in law recovery, miracles do happen :)

Thoughts about adding 5HP to the R32 ?

I ended up with all three cars in the low-mid 2:34s So I don't think it's really needing any more. All three cars seem close enough in lap time IMO, a more consistent driver may disagree but I think they're cool where they are :)

How can you get 2:34. ??? I used the scubby there and the best i can do is 2:36.5xx. On the second half of the circuit on the downhill the tires sometimes goes orange, with an occasional tail happy, doing a 245 kmh at the end of the back straight, short shifting to use the best of the turbo on mid RPM range.

Is there a secret passage way or something? Or am i doing something wrong with the tune?

Sorry for the delay, had to go back out for another run. I can't say for sure but we could probably call it a lucky lap :) Or perhaps all the AWD cars I've been forcing myself to use in the past few months is finally paying off :sly:.I'd bet on the former though,if I was you
I've just did the same test, online, tyre/fuel wear very fast, 20% surface water fixed. Didn't get back to the 2:34s but did 3 consecutive low 2:35s in laps 4,5&6 of the run and left time out there on all of them. It must have been one of those laps where you just get it right I suppose, it does happen to me sometimes you know :D

I see what you mean about the front turning orange too. I never noticed that yesterday, I was to busy trying not to smack into walls to pay them any attention  It happened a couple of times in the in the middle and at the end of the esses but It didn't seem to cause much trouble if I was on the right lines.

I was still using AT and BB at 5/5. I can tell you though, using AT usually means you end up a gear lower in some corners than you'd like to be. In this car it works out very nicely when that happens :) My only advice would be drive it like you stole it, worked for me...for a change :sly:

Oh, and you'd have to ask @danbojte about the secret passageways and warp-holes. He hasn't told us where they are yet

Here are all 3 replays for all Skyline, R32, R33, R34 GTR, they were early test spec ( R34 always have 350HP, the R32 and R33 have a bit lower HP than the spec I posted above ) All are in 2:31s, look at the sector times to see where you need to improve the time at Bathurst. The up hill and down hill section are very decisive in lap time. Try to stay flat on gas as long as you can.

The laps were not perfect, but should be fun to watch and learn the line and where to go flat out down and up hill.

Hi, my friend,

I can't get the PP and HP for this one. Will you, please, check it again? :D

Edit: I'm sorry. I was using the Paul Walker's one and the oil is changed for that.

Well I'm going to be far behind on this one, 10 laps on line with the setting rules, 2 clean laps, best was 2:38.8xx :grumpy:, I was using the Subaru of course :D, unless you all start crashing every where I'm going to be doing this race solo .... think I'll bring a passenger to make things more enjoyable :sly:.

Don't worry TL, a lot of things can happen on that circuit, and they will. :D
I know I said it before, but it is true and I will keep repeating it. ;)
