breakfast Bacon & Eggs 👍

@TurnLeft & @Thorin Cain

Congratulations to both of you for being good sports about ^ :) 👍

If I could put my 100% impartial stewards hat on for a minute & adjudicate what happened with the evidence presented, using the V8 Supercar rule book as a guide, I'd say it's a 'racing incident'. No licence endorsements, no monetary fines or push-ups required.
In the first two pics, TL you look to be a fair way over to the left & probably out of view to TC. TC do you agree with that? Did you see the TL train about to pull into the station? In pic 3 I can see TC had already committed to his chosen racing line with TL out of view until the last moment and in pics 3-6 TL is already past the B-pillar of TC. This is the first thing they look at in V8s, the B-pillar. If it was TL's front bumper into TC's rear door or further rearward, they don't like that. They also look to see if the passing car, in this case TL, had at least two wheels on the racing surface. Second thing they look at is, if contact wasn't made between the two cars involved, would TL have made the corner without running wide? From what I can see, I believe he would have so it's not what comes under the 'dive bomb' category. The last pieces of evidence used are the mandatory in-car cameras & telementary but that's not available in this case.
Ultimately TC & TL, you two can have a :lol: about it over a few :cheers:
It`s so much harder passing people than AI drivers, I usually wait for the big mistake but the opening seemed too good, it`s hard to see the person beside you, if you click the side view while in curve braking you may as well just pray :lol:, it goes by to fast, well for me it does. The mistake I made was that if TC would have been able to hold his line I would have been in a big disadvantage on the next curve. That`s another thing I`ve got to learn, race like a chess game and think a few moves ahead :eek:. Appreciate your opinion 👍, don`t worry about how we`ll settle it between us, we give extra chores to @Brewguy44 :lol:. :cheers:

A very thorough and just review by the Race stewards there :)👍

That's pretty much how I saw it 👍 I knew TL was around there somewhere but he was in my blind-spot and I had no idea how far up the inside he'd gone. I got the little flashy proximity warning as I turned in and tried to adjust my line to give the room. I think there was a little contact but nothing you wouldn't expect from any of the worlds many saloon car series' :D If it's good enough for them... :sly: Anyway, both drivers know there was no malice, no harm was caused and we share the repair bills anyway :lol:

@Brewguy44
:lol: Excellent! :lol:

@TurnLeft @Thorin Cain
If nobody have complains, then all is good then (I don't have the time for viewing the replays, I'll be away for the next days...). 👍 :cheers:

Results added.

P.S. : I beeped because from my point of view it looked like TL pushed TC and I thought he has to let him pass. :)
Have to agree. @Brewguy44, that had me

:cheers:
I thought that sounded like an angry honk :odd: I thought it was TL :lol: Nope, no complaints on that at all :) I felt it best to brake a bit earlier in the BMW and he had plenty of room to go up the inside. If I'd been more aware of how far advanced he was I could have taken a less aggressive turn in and still made the turn. It was a surprise attack alright but I still think it was a fair one :D I'll get him next time :mischievous:

Hope your days away are good ones 👍 :cheers:

Yes, these has to be good ones. 👍 Thank you, my friend. :cheers:

I just finished some work around the house and decided to check in to see what's happening and @Ridox2JZGTE posted some video's, I was like excellent!! 👍

I went downstairs to get a beer and watch them
animated-smileys-drinking-060.gif

Really like the Nurburgring one, watching him brake and shift and knowing where he was on the track was cool, did you notice that he put his foot on the brake and heeled the gas pedal at the same time.

Very cool :cool: video's Thanks Ridox for sharing, it made my day. 👍

Some videos to make your heart racing :)

Watch the end for break down on the awesome save

And 2014 lap record :

For dessert, Gan-san in NA2 NSX-R at Green Hell, 7:56s lap record, enjoy the great view :

I'd seen the Subaru video before as it was a 1 hour special on Aussie TV last year but that save at the bottom of Bray Hill is one of the best I've ever seen. Mark 'Higgie' Higgins is one of the best rally drivers to come out of the U.K.

The Isle of Man TT course reminds me of how the Nordschleife looked before the 1969/70 renovations that added the run off, guardrail & sandtraps that everyone enjoys as 'comfort' nowadays. Those renovations, believe it or not, sanitized a lot of the hardcore character the original Nordschleife had. They re-aligned some corners, added kerbs, shaved a lot of the rises & jumps to stop cars getting airtime and, most of all, added the grass verges between the track edge and the guardrail when previously there was an earthbank, a drop-off, trees or something else waiting to change the shape of your car and give you a stay in hospital if you were lucky.
If you like, have a look at the video I'll post shortly of on-board footage highlighting just how far the Nordschleife has come in the efforts of safety.

So, I left my house at 6:30am sharp so I could arrive early at the clinic where I get my monthly blood tests (I have to get my blood checked monthly for the rest of my life because of my liver transplant). Just as I planned, I was the very first person there, standing at the door waiting for them to open at 7am. I should have been home by 7:40 at the very latest. They know me by name there, obviously, since I get blood work every month...They started to check me in and then noticed there was a problem. My standing order that they keep on file (its like a year long prescription for blood work) freakin' expired earlier in the month!! Normally, I would have just said "Aww shucks...", turned around and gotten my transplant team to fax a new Standing Order form and then come back on Monday. But, because I'm a stupid procrastinator, I HAD to get blood drawn today. I have a doctor appointment on Wednesday and if I didn't have the blood drawn today the results wouldn't be back to my doctor in time and he would be pissed. So, yours truly had to call his transplant office, which is closed on weekends, leave a message on the "emergency" answering service and wait for someone to call me back. Now, luckily the outpatient transplant clinic is in the Lahey Clinic hospital, so even though the outpatient clinic was closed today, I knew there would be plenty of transplant doctors working the 6th floor where they keep transplant patients. As you've probably figured out, they didn't exactly consider my "emergency" to truly be such and it took almost 2 hours before anyone even called me back. Then probably another hour or so before the doctor managed to walk over to the outpatient clinic, fill out the forms and fax them to my local blood clinic. The worst part is, I literally drove past the blood clinic this past Wednesday morning and almost went in to have this taken care of...I had a few errands I had to take care of that day and decided to have the blood drawn another day. I could have prevented this had I just pulled my lazy butt into the clinic on Wednesday. By time I got home this morning, it was almost 11AM!!! :banghead: :banghead: :banghead:

I swear...it's like God himself doesn't want me to race. Since the Club has started doing weekly races I've ended up in the E.R., stayed up all night only to fall asleep an hour before we were ready to start, I've had terrible connection issues two weeks in a row and now this... :mad: :mad: :mad: Sorry I missed the action fellas. I haven't seen the results yet. I'll check after I post this. I spent a lot of time practicing last night too.... FML :grumpy: :grumpy: :banghead:

Dude, That was freakin awesome!!! 👍 And Very Cool!! :cool:

To see the track like that, I was like :eek: 👍 and the cars, Waayyy Coooll!!! :cool: 👍

I agree with @TurnLeft we need more of those car's! 👍

Thanks for sharing!! 👍
Quite a few changes, but what I really liked was those open wheel cars :cool:, PD could we have a couple please ;). I just love old vintage cars 👍, before you say it I'll do it myself, " I just love old vintage cars because they're like me, VINTAGE :lol: ".
More than happy to share quality footage like this guys. Glad you enjoyed it.
The cars from the 60's are one of my favourite periods in F1. Not a trace of downforce or wings to be found, treaded tyres and diverse designs/engines. Naturally I have a soft spot for Brabhams but if PD could loan a Lotus 49 and clone that for us.....:eek: :bowdown:
I could suggest a few from the '74/'75 seasons too with their fat rubber & tall air boxes.
