Just took it out for a fast test to see how it was, I'm in the high 2:12.8xx off line, with a peak of 2:11.421 , so I'm guessing that the top guys are going to run in the 2:09 online , it's going to take a bit of practice to shop off that extra time . All @OdeFinn needs to do to win this months championship is finish 3rd in both races , anybody got chains? .

Quick test offline, 2:09.4, room for improvements, BUT constant pace on Motegi is really hard to keep. Probably 2:10 - 2:11 range if not happening some miracle and I learn track much better.

some nice looking skylines there. looks like close, fun racing. im interested racing with you guys next Saturday. i live in Alaska (UTC-9:00) so i have to figure what time you are starting it haha. im usually on daily, and never use abs so it will fun for me, its hard getting rooms like that

@danbojte , can you tell me why in the practice room it goes to a race mode after about 15 minutes , I was trying to see what the fuel consumption was but couldn't manage it. Is there a way to bypass this and just do an infinity of laps?

Sounds like the auto timer is active. Go into the race events options screen from the lobby. (left of the garage icon) and check there. It should be next to the track options or one screen right from there I'm not sure if it'll let you change it in a club event or not, but it's worth a try 👍

Just went into the lobby instead of event and it works fine that way, we should take the mandatory pit stop off, if anyone can win this without refueling they deserve to win . I think I've got the right BB set for it now, and almost sure on how much fuel to put in. I've managed a 2:11.709 BL but ... the average counting all my sand castles I've built + the pit stop was like in the 2:27.xxx . I'm doing too many mistakes and I'm not even close to being regular in the 2:13.xxx. Friday will be my next practice time available so if I can't cut the off road experiences you'll be sailing far ahead of me , I have a hard time adjusting my braking zones as the tires wear out and the fuel runs thin .

On the good side I received quite a few applications to fill my pit crew staff, just so hard to choose

Aren't all wheels the same in GT6 as long as you stay with the same size?

EDIT: I should have added that when GT6 first came out, I know that switching to after-market wheels would change the wheel & tire widths making all four tires the same size/width. The game always made them the width of the fronts, so you'd lose the nice wide back tire width. However, they fixed that in an update a long time ago.

@TurnLeft I will gladly take any of your leftover pit crew...surely there are limits on the number of pit crew one can have, so I would imagine you can't accommodate ALL of them. I have a few openings on my pit team. After reading your post and seeing the lovely gals, I fired everyone! BTW...I only ran 5 practice laps so far, TL and I think I'm in the same boat as you. Actually, I'm not sure my best lap was quite as low as yours. I think I could possibly push harder, but I have a feeling I would be shredding my tires. When I ran those 5 laps the practice room wasn't opened up yet and I was feeling lazy, so I ran in Arcade Mode which doesn't use tire wear/fuel consumption. I'm sure I won't put in enough practice time to find this out, but I'm just guessing, based on how much my tires were screaming that slowing it down for a good racing pace will be significantly better on the tires. Oh, and as I suspected...On those 5 laps I ran into the sand on 3 of them...

Oh, well...I was going to ask for the one you wanted BG to take, but I thought that might be rude of me. I'm sure BG is all hot & sweaty to get "her" on his pit crew. Who am I to stand in the way of love? I'm going to hop on my PS3 and go run some laps in the practice room - see how I do with tire wear turned on... Oh, and I had a fit trying to figure out my brake balance also. In fact, I'm still not completely satisfied, but I can work on that later.

Oh yeah, @danbojte made a boo-boo when he setup these practice room settings. It wants to start the race in 21 minutes and 45 seconds when you first create a room. Silly room! I don't want to race...I just want to practice. Oh, you're so crazy Mr. Room.

Oh, I have no problem using the stock wheels. That's cool. I was just wondering why something that has no performance difference is banned. Unless there IS a difference that I wasn't aware of...then I would like to know - to educate myself on a peculiarity within GT6. There are many! 👍

Open practise room and go room settings, save settings and then create club room with those settings, after modified automatic starts off, checked at other settings are ok. (Tag that club members only on lobby type if you don't want random online users to wonder around)
