Yah, u got this. I can pick up another 2 tenths on the other tracks but I would still need a 2:45.8 on Cape to pass u overall. I just dont have the energy to do it. I am hoping I can win a cockpit in the next 4 weeks.

I wonder, if u win a cockpit and wheel this week, will u win another wheel the next week? It says u can only win a certain prize once, so does that mean u can win the 1st place prize, and then still be eligible for the 2nd-5th place prize?

No, I won't get a wheel or cockpit again.

Hunk, looking at your pic, you could crush me in a fight. Lets stay friends ok? If I beat you on the track, don't beat me IRL , hahahaha

Bummer, thought I had the chance to win 2 DFGT's.

Haha, sounds good. I just hope I get the chance to meet you irl. I know you will be in the finals, I'll do my best to make it there too.

From my understanding, every week 20 people get a poster, 5 get a wheel, and 1 of those 5 get a playseat. I'm not sure if this is only for the duration of round 1, or for the entire competition.

I do know that there is a clause that states you can only win one of each prize. So if you win a poster, the next person in line will get it the next week. So by the end of round 1, assuming the top 80 people stay the same (they won't, this is for theoretical purposes), all 80 should have a poster, 25 should have a wheel, and 5 should have a playseat.

I think.

Modest for someone who is a regular in the top 10 haha. You're in West aren't you? I'm just glad Fix and Choate aren't in my division... better chances of making it to Florida ;)

45.503.... hehehe.

I have no idea how you do the loop so fast. You pulled in a ton there.

That didn't take long.

On a side note, I am benchracing from work. Keep me updated fools.

Haha that's messed up. I haven't sandbagged. Gotta watch out for that in the next rounds I guess.

45.1 at cape. I think I'm done.

^^Unreal...me and my DFGT cannot keep up lol. My fastest lap is a 2.49.5.

I'm about .8 off choate's after the first sector then lose about .4+ going through the 2nd sector and from there I seem to lose the rest...I think it's not necessarily the ring, but the final few turns that I'm losing tremendous speed..will give another go tomorrow.

Damn, my sandbagging was getting into the 45's, then you go bust out something ridiculous. I must say congrats man. Looks like you got this round lol

sandbagging is not giving 100%. For instance I knew I had .6 of a second to give at the cape and wated until this afternoon to bust it out. Only problem is you just piss off the really fast guy and he hits one out of the park lol

Yea I'm done for this round. i busted my rear today and found quite a bit a time at all three tracks. Plus, I'm region number 1 by a healthy margin so I am not worried about dropping out of the top 128 right now. It's time to go get some stuff done around the house that's been neglected.

LOL! That's sad for me!

Why? Because I feel the same but I am rank 114 on my East Region! LOL

I do not know how to get better times. I am unable to imitate any of the 10 best.

I can't check times till tomorrow. No ps3. Can't even check if I won . Does anyone know who's first right now?

Man, I still feel very slow around this track. Just improved my time to a 2.49.1...I know I'm losing a lot of time between turns 14-16 and 23-25 (maybe just turn 25)

I don't know how you guys are getting those 45's...just seems unreachable at this point.

I'm usually .8 to 1.2s off at the first sector (between turn 8 and 9) and then 1.2-1.4s off after turn 14..then after the ring (turn 20) I'm 2-3 seconds off each time...and somehow lose a little more at the end :/

One thing I do notice on watching the replays is that you guys can turn the car into the turn much easier than I can..like throwing the back end a little to make the corner a little bit shorter. When I try this, I either fail miserably or I cook my tires.

I think it's at the point now that there's not a lot of room for improvement. The top guys are running nearly picture perfect laps.

The strange thing is about any sort of driving is that the faster you go, the more you realize how much time is left to gain. The top drivers will be in the 2:44's by the time this thing is over. We have another 20 days to go and Fix is already at 2:45.1xx with 2 others in the 2:45's.
