jmr skills + GTNDC teamwork = lethal venom, though Jean is lethal just himself. :D

Congrats Jean 👍 , congrats to Small Fryz and Groove Engineer too, fast times there. 👍
jmr
Special thanks to Ramon and hypersport for their big help in this race!!! 👍 👍 👍
Thanks to you Jean 👍 , btw, you forgot IforceV8 there, this setup could have been nothing without Jim's base. 👍

How ould I forget him. :scared: Jim is the father of this success. No doubt. :) Without him we wouldn't havent even started this comp. Leader of a very lazy team. :D Well at least some of us. :D

Having used some of IForceV8's settings bases in the past, it comes as no surprize to see his name associated with this dominant win. How does he do it?

How much does he cost?

Last I heard was that Shifter wants him for a Racing-line comeback in 2100 ;)

samoht's replay...

Please note this is an NTSC(J) replay. I'm unable to view it on my NTSC(NA) machine, for some reason.

Also, there is an issue that the replay fades just before the Start/Finish line, and doesn't display the time at the end of the replay. The lap time is (according to samoht) displayed in the Replay theater list. This has been discussed in the Manager's forum, so I'm hoping it's an issue with samoht's PS2, and if not the fact that the replay ends on a straight (no contacts), along the the replay list displaying the proper time will be sufficient.

Use the attached file below to see samoht's replay on your NTSC(NA) machine.
I have converted the file from max to xps, then opened it with an hex editor and changed the NTSC/J game code (BISCPS-17001) by the NTSC/NA game code (BASCUS-97328).
It works fine. ;)

Is it possible to do this same editing between PAL and NTSC replays ? ..... or is that just asking for too much :dopey:

Nice work anyway 👍

Since you've seen the replay, anything you can tell us about it? (clean, complete, verifiable) ;)

Well, the replay is complete and verifiable, like an ordinary replay, but I think it has a little problem with the rules concerning the white lines ... :guilty:

@ Ron : Sphinx is right, you can't convert a replay between a 50 Hz game and a 60 Hz game. The car has a crash.

Yes that is a DQ, not allowed more than 2 tires over that white line.

Sorry to have to say that :indiff: :guilty:

Just overread that someone wants the setting from this run. So here it is.

final 3.847-1

1.510
1.250

1'01.063

With this setup you get quite 'easy' to a lower 1'01... I had it within an hour. Pity I didn't know that it would be enough for the win. :D Was chasing for a clean minute, had in my last run about 10 times the chance, but last sector is with its curbs and close line just unpredictable. With best sectors you could go to a 1'00.5xx. That's why I was a bit surprised with the win.

Again a big thx to Jim, Ramon and Rand for their great help in this run!

Cheers!

In fact, I am more afraid by gttimes, GTN, and GTP for the battle to win the bc than by GTIRN my Rico. It's today that you lost the BC mate. :sly:

not with ur driving, or for merit ;)
u won nothing man, if u think this is winning 👎

A win is a win man!

That you win by an inch or by a mile, it's still a win, that doesn't change the fact.

Remember Schumacher VS Barrichello at the austrian GP a couple of years ago. Rubens let Michael pass hundred meters before the finish line. You'll telling me it's not a victory? But it is. He finished first, officially, it's a won.

It's the same thing here.

Can someone official explain what's going on please, or are we not worthy to know?
