Seriously, I hope the next PS4 will emit smells as part of the immersive experience, are you listening PD / sony? I want to feel and smell the track. That would be "something cool". No need for disc media anymore once this new internet bandwidth is avail to the masses. Emulex.com
 
Lambob I read somewhere that they've made a machine that can do that but you need to change cartidges in it.

not a major problem to be honest for example you get GT5 and then you buy the smell cartridges which make up smells of oil,fuel,rubber, all sorts :D it'd be bloody amazing!!!!

like the scracth and sniff GT2 discs :D which actually after playing a while heated up and filled the room with the smell of working brakes :P
 
Just an idea or perhaps wishful thinking, what if it was tourist trophy 2, there was a picture when gt5 was first announced of a bike next to a car. Your probably thinking 'so what' well heres my idea. Seeing as gt5 took 1 hour to install what if tourist trophy was using gt5's engine... could tourist trophy be incorporated into gt5? cars vs bikes!? I know its been done with tdu and pgr but lets face it there hasnt been a decent handling game with bikes. Even sbk and moto gp are louzy! Im not going to get my hopes up because it would literally be the best thing that could happen for me personally.
 
I'm thinking maybe its Tourist Trophy 2. Didn't the original use GT4 tracks and just feature bikes? After PD finished the tracks for GT5 and it went gold, they could have started(if they hadn't already) on the bikes to be featured in TT2, and have a release next year.

I'd rather see some DLC for GT5(would purchase), but I wonder if they stand to make more money from a game like TT2.
 
Its gran turismo c-spec its like gran theft auto but you can't break the law so basically just walking and driving at the speed limit.
 
If it's not a GT5 expansion pack or GT5.5 or something along those lines with more GT5 tracks, premium cars and race events-- I don't care about it and won't buy it. If it isn't something to make GT5 better or add on to GT5 I think PD would be stupid to waste their time on it. Any content such as new tracks (or old tracks re-done) or new premium cars could all be sold as content for GT5 and then put into GT6 and sold again or make GT6 a stronger product. They need to do that..
 
Well it would be a good idea for them to make more tracks/cars and expand on gt5 because I think I read somewhere is that they're using gt5 as a base for gt6. So if they expand here then gt6 would be out sooner instead of starting from scratch like they always do.
 
Yeah, all the premiums are of GT6 level quality already they said. They just need to make more premiums for GT6, and update the lower quality tracks and make the rest of the "game" for GT6. Even if GT6 will be on PS4, the premiums have plenty of detail.

You could use one thumbstick to shift your weight and another to steer 💡

Obviously getting these synched up is tricky, so "aids" are a necessity with such a system, and then you're reduced to the same principles as the riding form in TT. There have been decent(ish) bike sims in the past, but nothing recent has been any cop - TT was at least refreshing.

I think the Sixaxis would really work well with a motorbike game.

Tourist Trophy was a big success for them. They already have a load of tracks done, there's no way they're not doing anything else with them.

If the announcement is Tourist Trophy 2, I'll be happy, but cautiously optimistic. TT wasn't perfect, and had very dumbed down handling and physics.
 
If history is any example, whatever this product is will take too long to arrive, ignore every reasonable customer suggestion, be nothing like what is expected, and likely be underwhelming.

Right now the general hopes and dreams peg it as Tourist Trophy 2 in 2012. That can only mean one thing: PD will deliver the Real Speed Skating Simulator in 2015.

BT -> TT2 would be a great idea, PD might feature the whole Isle of Mann track this time. But a possible sequel to Omega Boost for the NGP would be possible too.

If it's true, then I think they might reveal Tourist Trophy 2. It can't be another Gran Turismo yet, it's too soon after the release of GT5. That's if this rumour is true, which it might not be. Someone should ask Kaz if the rumour is true on his Twitter page, but be sensitive about it, considering the recent events in Japan.

What about a new IP,KY show some interest in a Gran turismo thief auto,maybe could be an open world game,not violent,maybe something like the getaway,after all there is a lot of "European" oriented theme/base,I don't believe that is based on an existing IP, although it might be Tourist trophy 2 as well.
 
I'd rather have my hopes up for Tourist Trophy 2 than for GT NGP. I don't have any money for any new-spec Sony stuff...although E3 is just 3 days after my birthday so...come on Polyphony Digital.

Suprisingly, the only time I ever played Tourist Trophy was at school. Pedal bike with handle bars in gym class. That's the only way I'll exercise! :dopey:
 
It's quite obvious. Look on almost all of Sony's console, they have a GT game beside it. NGP is set for a holiday 2011 release. March 2012 isn't too far from that 2011 date. You do know that they might delay GT for the NGP too right? :sly: :dopey: :)

Isle of man is not the only TT titled event. I'd like to see Assen in Tourist Trophy 2.
