Quoting the Google-translated Twitter message from the head of Roscosmos- D. Rogozin.

"«Here, some of the Bandera underdogs and their Anglo-Saxon sponsors no longer know what to come up with in their information war against Russia. Like, our crew of Bauman graduates put on a uniform in the colors of the Ukrainian flag. I want to disappoint you. Our cosmonauts saw Ukrainian Nazis in their coffins. But we are not going to refuse any colors in the emblem of Bauman University or in the colors of the Soyuz-2 launch complex.»."

EDIT: Fun fact: Rogozin participated in the Movement Against Illegal Immigration during the Russian marches.

Rogozin:- "I don't want to live on a street named after Kadyrov. people making certain hand gesture at the end of the video.

EDIT 2: I have a feeling that the "special operation" should have ended by now so that Russia could have celebrated the Ukraine "liberation" and probably more occupied land during their Crimea annex anniversary party they just had.

That's the current strategy for every fascistoid today, when they try to normalize their perversity through society, through confusion.
Misrepresent that others are neo-Nazis, while they themselves militate for xenophobia, racism, homophobia, iliberalism, cult of personality...
Interesting how this is the same no matter where they are, like an organized strategy.

Claims, counterclaims and rumors of bioweapons undoubtedly are setting the stage for their use by the Russians. It wouldn't surprise me if they salt or otherwise contaminate the wheat fields - not that there is going to be a crop this year anyway.

So a false, false flag operation? Possible but seems a little far fetched. Then again everything about this is far fetched.
The tweet was published four days after the bombing of the hospital, which could indicate that Russia was looking for a way to distract from that event by manufacturing a Ukrainian war crime.

The tweet provides no source for this piece of information and no evidence to support the claim. If the Azov battalion was really abducting women, children and elders to lock them up in the basement of the theatre it’s strange that there is no photo or video of it.

The tweet was published three days before Russia bombed the theatre. Would Azov have kept people locked up for three days before setting off the explosives? Why? And why did nobody speak to a journalist about it during such a long delay in sn attempt to get these people freed?

The tweet being published three days prior to the event is consistent with a poorly executed false flag operation, and for allowing the tweet some time to spread beforehand.

The Twitter account is notorious for spreading Russian propaganda, it’s the whole raison d’etre for the account, despite the cute kitten avatar. The rate of tweets (I’m counting 11 tweets in the past hour) and the fact the the account tweets pretty much around the clock seems like he/she/they are working full time with this. Who is paying for this?

  • Zelenskiy is banning pro russian political parties.
  • China playing Switzerland
  • Arestovich saying 8 russian generals dead, Ukraine officials 6, bellingcat 3, Russia 1.
  • Ukrainian army cant do anything about Mariupol. Most likely there would be assault before next negotiation round.

Off topic a bit but anyone catch Servant of the People on Netflix?

I was curious and watched a few and was suprised at how candid the show was in showing corruption in government. I was expecting a comedy, something like Veep. It has funny moments. But overall the whole thing is surreal in a life imitaing art way. And it feels super wierd watching and flipping back to the news. Unique experience.

It seems Russia has called off the amphibious landing in the city of odessa for now

All risky moves have been put on hold due to heavy casualties accumulated with Russian paratroopers especially one regiment getting wiped out along with its major commander killed.

A sea landing is really risky unless Russia can support it if not their marine troops will suffer heavy casualties.

Ukrainians have the advantage of defence. No doubt they will fight fierce. Im really surprised so many believed Ukraine will surrender in a matter of days now the war has reached 3 weeks with no ending in sight.

Its going to be a stalemate by this rate.

No stalemate, but a war of attrition? Encircled and besieged cities, a la Syria?

Ukrainians have been lately having successful counterattacks.

They have pushed the Russians out only for the Russians to come back. Lines are constantly shifting going back and forth but the front where Russia advanced from crimea has been as usual steady gains.

If Russia takes mariupol basically the sea of azov will now be a Russian lake.

I was wondering how many Ukrainians have fled so far found this Wiki page -

An ongoing refugee crisis began in Europe in late February 2022 after Russia's invasion of Ukraine. Almost 3.5 million refugees have left Ukraine (as of 20 March 2022),[1] while an estimated 6.48 million people have been displaced within the country (as of 16 March 2022).[2] In total, ten million people – more than a quarter of the population – had left their homes in Ukraine by 20 March.[3] The invasion has caused Europe's largest refugee crisis since World War II and its aftermath,[4] the first of its kind in Europe since the Yugoslav Wars in the 1990s,[5][6] and one of the largest refugee crises in the world in the 21st century, with the highest refugee flight rate in the world.[7][8]

Most likely, RF marines fighting with Azov under Mariupol. My pal is in Odessa right now, situation here is way better than in Kiev - AA and naval artillery mostly.
a la Syria
Its not Syria or Chechnya. Ukrainians have aviation, drones, heavy armor and artillery.

Conflict in Donetsk and Lugansk also cause refugee crisis. And protests in Belarus also cause exile. Thousands exiled Russia since 24 February.

I think situation with refugees and emigration is similar to Russian Civil War and Great Patriotic War combined(i am not counting combat casualties ofc). Insane.

Russia has said that US sanctions amount to an act of war. Now Biden is warning US businesses and individuals to prepare for cyber attacks in response. Banks and utilities such as power and water are thought to be among the targets. Nowadays, war is global and everyone gets to play a part the game, even if only as victims.

I'm not really sure this is Russia's best move. They are going as far as saying "we are (almost) declaring war" and any attack could drag in NATO. Ignoring the fact that Russia was NOT fighting anyone except Ukraine (with supplies being sent to Ukraine), this doesn't really look good for them.

Nothing unites Americans like a common enemy. Just now, the great majority of both parties, liberals and conservatives alike, are united in pursuing sanctions of all kinds against Russia. They will vote for virtually anything, go to any length. When Americans are united on the warpath, it is a fearsome thing. Since Putin is also targeting NATO nations for cyber war, I agree this really doesn't look good for Russia - or anyone else.

In order these sentences go from Americans have bipartisan support for economic sanctions against Russia, to Americans support anything against Russia, to Americans are on a "warpath". You lost lock on what's actually happening in that transitional sentence.

Distinguished journalist William J Broad writes extensively in this morning's edition of the New York Times how easily nuclear war could be sparked in Ukraine. The US and Russia both have very large arsenals of small nukes - down to 3% of the Hiroshima bomb - and the tactical doctrine to use them in this theater. There are no treaties or laws governing the use of these small nukes. IMHO, there is a large and growing chance they will be used in the here-and-now war in Ukraine. There is not a murmer of concern from the American people or the Congress at this moment. Liberals and conservatives alike, especially the media, are uniting in the most aggressive possible options. Sure, the use of smaller tactical nukes of up to 1/3 Hiroshima size against the Russians would feel very, very good for a lot of people right now. We would have nothing to lose and everything to gain - unless the situation spiraled out of control.

At least you're consistent.
