Meanwhile, no longer on the Russian TV...
I don't get it. Why "no longer", did i miss something?FTFY.
If that show was truly on state TV, I would be surprised if they didn't pull it for being against the war.I don't get it. Why "no longer", did i miss something?
We didn't see the same video. If that show was truly on state TV, I would be surprised if they didn't pull it for being against the war.
Yes. You are correct. I will edit my responses accordingly. The issue is NATO/US/EU will NOT act until Putin fires a nuclear weapon and/or attacks a NATO member. They will not change just because of this rhetoric. We didn't see the same video.
The "THE US HAS NO RIGHT TO CRITICIZE BECAUSE Middle Eastern War of some type of the past 50 years" arguments are so fascinating every time someone brings them up.
Like not only is it actually arguing "we should be beyond reproach to invade other countries too" instead, but it takes a truly staggering truck-sized suspension of disbelief because of the implication that goes with it of "and Russia had absolutely nothing to do with any of those things the US was doing."
My generation lost 58,000 in Vietnam, and we lost. I lost several friends. We used napalm and Agent Orange, but at least we didn't use nukes.I think a US-based source said the Russians have lost closer to around 8,500-9,000 forces.
Those numbers are from the Ukranian Army, so they need to be taken with a grain of salt, but Komsomolskaya Pravda, a pro-Kremlin paper seemed to leak a number of Russian KIA that was much higher than the Kremlin claimed.I think a US-based source said the Russians have lost closer to around 8,500-9,000 forces.

The important thing is I had an onion tied to my belt, which was the style at the time.My generation lost 58,000 in Vietnam, and we lost. I lost several friends. We used napalm and Agent Orange, but at least we didn't use nukes.
Do tell.
I've removed the video, don't drag this thread off-topic.A small video to get you started...maybe you find the earth is not flat..who knows
I've heard from people that the Russians west of Kyiv have been encircled or are about to be encircled. Anyone have any knowledge of that or articles?
This MAP is being updated from the info from various news sources by volunteers. So far the places mentioned are not marked as surrounded, but counterattacks are marked very close to them by blue zones.I've heard from people that the Russians west of Kyiv have been encircled or are about to be encircled. Nope. Governor elections, Hodorcovskiy in jail, seizures of federal media. And opinions can change. Until Putin went for the full "President for Life" route, there wasn't as many issues with him. It's only over the past 15 years that he has shown this side.
I sincerely doubt that Russia is "fully" occupying the red zones. More likely they have control of some of the roads & towns in those areas. This MAP is being updated from the info from various news sources by volunteers. Red zone- occupied\ controlled lands by Russian forces.
Blue zone- liberated zones by Ukrainian forces.

Yeah, the zones are changing their shape on the map. The rough big blobs are less accurate than the thin lines.I sincerely doubt that Russia is "fully" occupying the red zones. More likely they have control of some of the roads & towns in those areas.
Ukrainian journalist Roman Tsymbaliuk reported Wednesday that two tactical groups of Russian soldiers in Makarov, in the Kyiv region, lost at least half of their men in battles against Ukrainian forces.
One of the Russian soldiers “blamed the commander of the group, Col. Yury Medvedev, for the deaths of his friends,” Tsymbaliuk wrote on Facebook.
“Having waited for the right moment, during battle, he ran over the commander with a tank as he stood next to him, injuring both his legs. Now Col. Medvedev is in a hospital in Belarus, waiting for monetary compensation for combat wounds received during the ‘special military operation to protect the Donbass.’ Colonel Medvedev was awarded the Order of Courage,” he wrote.
The Daily Beast could not independently confirm Tsymbaliuk’s version of events, but Putin lackey and Chechen leader Ramzan Kadyrov confirmed Medvedev was injured during fighting in a VK post this month.

Are you seriously discussing what Russian propaganda saying? They talking about "radioactive ashes" since 2014.Seems more likely that that dude is a crazy fool given that none of the others seemed particularly engaged with what he was saying. They weren't denying it but they were looking at the floor like a bunch of spineless boys
