Sounds like whoever did the blowing up knew exactly what parts to target. The plane itself isn't as important as the long range radar it carries, and getting that out of the picture is a definite disadvantage to Russian ground troops.

Documentary about Mexico/USA border(eng subs). Surprisingly, there are a lot of Russian speaking emigrants. I could understand why Mexicans do this, but Russians? Crazy.

That does explain how they were able to get access to the aircraft, both being former law enforcement and having sympathizers within the military. I presume Lukashenko is going to be getting a very stern phone call from the Kremlin about getting his house in order after this (and that whatever civil rights the Belarusian people still have will be disappearing very quickly).

Glad to see at least some Belarusians fighting back against their odious regime.

As for the filth who interrupted the minute's silence at the UN... No. No, you do not get to whinge about dead Russian murderers, rapists and kidnappers. How dare they interrupt a silence in honour of those murdered or damaged by Russia to 'remember' their murderers too... **** them.

Showing a basic amount of class wouldn't have fit a representative of the contrarian orc state whose only source of pride in life is about not being Western.

Something big flying near Saint Petersburg, airspace closed, Russian fighters in the air.

Russian or Ukrainian?
AP News is reporting that the drone appears to be Ukrainian:

All lives are equally valuable, any lost life is a travesty. The needs of the many outweigh the need of the few.
Pray for the Ukrainians and the Russians who are both being used as pawns for those in power to stay in power on both sides.
This isn't a case of equal equivalence, Ukrainians aren't fighting for the President, they are fighting for the existence of the very country.

Faux equivalence such as these only favours the aggressor, Russia.

Super easy to say as someone who's safe and far away from vatniks that would happily systematically do to you and your people what they're doing to Ukrainians if they only could.

This isn't only Putin's war, or even a small group's. Widespread war crimes don't commit themselves.

Most of them are result of ****ed organisation. Artillery crew don't know where they shoot. Acts of marauding happens mostly because of total incompetence of supply units.

Rapes and violence against civil population cant be justified, its clearly crimes of those who did it.

War is corrupting souls of all who participate in it. Soliders from both sides should be threatened as traumatized persons who needs therapy.

China and Belarus have issued a joint statement calling for a ceasefire in Ukraine

However, given that Belarus have been complicit in the invasion from Day 1, and China has thus far neglected to seek Russian withdrawal from Ukraine, this will likely be rejected by Ukraine and its supporters as a tacit acceptance that Russian-occupied territories ought to remain as such.

FTFY.

No matter what Belarus says, it is not an independent country anymore. Russia is trying to call for a ceasefire because it is having trouble winning and fears that Ukraine could start to gain back land Russia illegally annexed.

Indeed, it's basically the same message all round from the pro-Russian axis - "End the war", "resolve the crisis peacefully"... but what they mean by that is "Stop supplying weapons to Ukraine and tell them to stop fighting the occupying forces"; in other words, give up and concede that Russia has succeeded in expanding its borders.

Exaggeration, once again. Its depends from RF, but Cockroach still have control over important aspects. First of all, Belarus doesn't actively participate in war. Even usage of Belarusian land for RF attacks since glorious retreats of 2022 is almost nonexistent.
