Russia needs more submarines so they will soon add one to their fleet? That's ship's listing pretty badly. If they hit it hard enough below the waterline then it's probably a write-off, and even if not it's still going to be out of action for months.
That's ship's listing pretty badly.
I heard the ship fell out of a 5th floor window 🤔Man, it's really awkward to have fully and comprehensively repelled the attack only to have the ship start sinking as a complete coincidence anyway.
Reuters has the story now:If it did sink, I hope that the rats went down with it.
edit.
More rumours and vague pictures that the Kerch bridge has been hit again.
Russia will ignore this and act in disbelief that they were attacked in their "days long" special mission.
This is truly priceless intel for the American military, I feel. Not even necessarily because it's a true measurement for the efficacy of all the modern weapons systems we've had sitting in warehouses for 30 years because we had no use for it when driving tanks into Iraq twice and blowing everything up uncontested, but more because I suspect it's been a major eye opener just how dangerous some Chinesium drone bought off Amazon loaded with semtex can be and how expensive it is to engage with it using traditional means.Unmanned boats pretty much genius small packaged boats that are unmanned taking on big ships of the Russian navy.
Russian invasion of Ukraine is now making people rethink on their weapon systems.
Russia? Maybe. Insurance companies? No way. Ukraine just killed any commercial naval transportation for RF in that region. There are no way for RF to transport its grain effectively anymore. Basically, RF though that they could kick Ukraine out of grain business, but instead kick themselves(and Ukraine somehow fullfil three ships since blockade started). Многоходовочка 🤡Russia will ignore this
I don't understand why terrorists doesn't use them. I know there are some cases in Hamas vs Israel conflict, but nothing serious. , basically.
Pretty much this. Buying a drone larger than a palm-sized toy draws heavy scrutiny right now, but meanwhile every few years we get a news story about how one heavily militarized country or another has had thousands of stored weapons vanish over a couple decades due to "clerical error". And if you've already got the black market connections to buy a LAW rocket or the like, you're not gonna bother with ordering off Alibaba and potentially leaving a paper trail behind.all the modern weapons systems we've had sitting in warehouses for 30 years

AFAIK, jammers can't do enough. Truck size ones could, but at the same time say goodbye to any comms. Personal riffle-jammers still need to be pointed at drone which isn't all that easy with 100-300kmph fpv-ones.More “capable” militaries are better at EW and even foot patrols have military grad RF jammers. Mostly because of remote detonated IEDs but can jam anything in the area using RF. Like a Chinese drone from amazon.
Germany might be getting ready to send Taurus missiles, range 500 kilometers.Ukraine needs more missiles. And bigger.
I hope this is no bull.Germany might be getting ready to send Taurus missiles, range 500 kilometers.
Ah, so Russia won the Cold War, Chernobyl never happened and the USSR just randomly fell apart for no reason at all?
"Western companies left our country and left open places for business. Don't loose your chance! Today, for real, Russia is a land of opportunity."Ah, so Russia won the Cold War, Chernobyl never happened and the USSR just randomly fell apart for no reason at all?
Ah, so just THAT part of history."Western companies left our country and left open places for business. Don't loose your chance! Today, for real, Russia is a land of opportunity."
"Attempts to isolate our country have failed. West is suffering from sanctions."
"USA is ready to fight till the last Ukrainian. Nothing personal, just business."
"Ukraine is an ultranationalist country."
"We didn't start any military actions, we are ending what nationalists started in 2014."
"Ukrainian military doesn't protect their citizens, they are using them as a human shield."
"Russia is a land of heroes."
etc.
It's like a collection of propaganda that was said on the Russian federal TV channels.
