If Russia won this battle most likely this war could have ended sooner than later.
But its defeat basically meant its 3 day special operation will be a long protracted war.
Something which Moscow tried to avoid.
Vdv got dropped into an area without much support. Vdv goal was to hold the airport until mechanised units can smash into the airport.
Mechanised units got bogged down and the VDV left in an area where they were surrounded and picked apart by Ukrainian special forces.

NATO isn't doing anything, it's a defense alliance, and they certainly aren't the ones committing genocide.
But Argentina? Did your family by chance immigrate there in say 1945 or 1946? Those family values would certainly explain support for Russia and thinking that NATO and the West are at fault here.

In other news: The Russian ruble is now worth 0.01 USD. In the graph you can see three big dips, in 2008 (war against Georgia), in 2014 (annexation of Crimea) and in 2022 (invasion of Ukraine).
