Russian Invasion of Ukraine

Su25s have always been vulnerable to dog fights they are afterall ground attack aircraft.
I was gonna say something along those lines. What's going on with the Russian Air Force if pilots in inferior aircraft are engaging in dogfights?

High chance that Kiev could be turned into Grozny.

With the city destroyed and firefights between apartments and other buildings basically going to be fights one block at a time.

Also rumours of Russia attacking Kiev in the night.
There possibly won't be a need too.

This morning in Kiev, the authorities were giving guns to random people on the streets. That's insane! Not only that they will be indistingushable from civilians, but this will also provoke a rise of gun crime. As a result, there are already videos of some unknown armed men in civilian clothes shooting on the streets and fighting with police and army.

That's a hefty size plane.

Waiting for verification. A fallen plane of this size wouldn't be unnoticable...

Says person defending the invasion of sovereign state pushing those that wish to defend their country from yours to desperate measures.
Defending or not (I'm not), this is out of the context. I mean "insane" even from the perspective of the Kiev defenders. This can only make it worse for them.

It's hard to watch Ukraine be invaded...but we don't want WW3 here.
"It's hard to watch Poland be invaded... but we don't want WW2 here."
The only reason Russia, or Putin in this case, is threatening them, is because of the nuclear weapons it has. Without nukes in the equation, and with Sweden and Finland entering NATO, Russia attacking those countries would be suicide.
The more i hear details about the heavily bunkerized Putin, the more i think he's capable of using nuclear weapon in a pre-emptive or agressive way, or even in a last resort if Russia fails to get is "grandeur" back. ("If there's no more room from Russia in the world, then why would we need a world?")

It's not like our old man would hesitate to push the button if it takes to.
but this will also provoke a rise of humanity wiping crime.

Its not impossible for a manpad to hit that huge plane but you need a good shot or multiple missiles.

Still ukraine may used a missile rather than a manpad will see the confirmation.

The war has also spilled over into Russia with Ukraine striking Millerovo with a Trocka U.

Russia has reached Kiev.

Also Turkish airforce just sent some A400s to Poland with many speculating its arms that will be going into Ukraine.

I don't disagree with the similarities, but it's a delicate balance.

The notion that there would be a rise in gun crime in Kyiv during an invasion by a foreign adversary, of existential proportions) is one of the more absurd things I've ever heard.

I feel compelled to quite Monty Python... "Worse, how can it be any worse?"

What have they got to loose? Why do you keep missing the bigger picture?
He supports Putin, that's why.
He is not one of the many brave Russians making a stand and ending up in prison or worse.
He can't even bring himself to pretend to be bothered about Putins actions on a gaming forum.
Such is his feeble minded support of a mentalist.
Pathetic. He's not even got the balls to fight for Putin like the Russian idiots getting blown out of the sky because Putin has a terrible army. Terrible.
Loads of weaponry, dumb soldiers all off their faces on home made vodka....

Every story of dead Putinazi's helps me sleep better.....

Bruh, if nukes will be flying at Russia, we won't care about that anymore.

Worse for their own ability to defend, perhaps?
They risk just shooting each other before RF troops even step in when they randomly give guns to people without training and orders. Even Volkssturm had some sort of organization and command.

My dad watches Turkish News. I would expect Turkish media to have a pro Ukraine stance and calling out Russia but instead they are blaming the usa lmaooooo

Interesting is how Turkey and Israel have not called it an Invasion despite backing Ukraine.

This must be the fastest a current event has made its way onto wikipedia as a fully formed article.

We have been sharing some combat footage I dont know if it violates terms on this forum so im gonna refrain from sharing.

Of course no graphic videos.

Probably in his multi-million dollar, fully furnished, with food storage for years, personal bunker, somewhere in the interior of a continental sized country. And this is the problem, he cares little about his own russian people, making him a very dangerous person to be in charge of a huge nuclear arsenal. There's hope that some common sense would reign somewhere in the chain of command to stop any foolish decision.

I guess it's because they did similar things not too long time ago - 1974 Invasion of Cyprus and 1967 Six-Day War respectively.
Turkish paratroopers were also used in Cyprus. Mixed results they were successful but they accumulated lots of casualties. Paratroopers are pretty good in surprising and have a psychological impact on the enemy but without proper support they also get heavy casualties. Greeks were caught off guard as they believed Turkey wont use Paratroopers. Plus the Cypriots lacked proper defences. Using paratroopers have a big risk especially when its day time.

My mum once told me about how Turkey went to war as she was at Turkey at the time. She said it was pretty scary eventhough Turkey was not attacked but you had sirens and planes constantly flying.

I know in geopolitics Russia can easily call out Turkey and Israel. I think its you dont know say anything about my skeletons while I wont either.

Maybe they feel the need to defend their country against a bunch of degenerates who think following the orders of a mentally challenged lunatic is the way to go.
RIGHT NOW I'm watching a stream on YouTube where a guy from Kyiv talks about the situation and he says there are multiple cases of looting, robbery and shooting with the guns taken on that free giveaway.

And in the mean time your country men are trying to take over the country. What do you think is worse for the state of Ukraine? Or does Putin need to broadcast a new bulletin for you to understand what YOUR president is doing with YOUR army in a sovereign nation?

Seriously how globalised is this war??

Ukaine is multi ethnic and same for the Russians. Now you have some foreign volunteers pouring in.

Would not expect an Afghan to be there out of all places.

Keep calm, guys. While Russian media obliviously lying, all other media also could spread fakes. I am not biggest fan of RR posts here, but I beg you not start witch hunt. His position is clear - he isn't fan of war in any form.

Its tough time - our government betrayed us and our neighbors. Some blaming mad king, some trying to find reasons behind it.
