It's been a while since I showed up here. Time for some more reviewing.
I know this is one of your most-reviewed cars, but its popularity led me to build it-I just had to see what it was all about. Completely sight-unseen, I built the car and took it to what should be its ultimate test-the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the old version. Four (becoming three) minor changes were made to the original setup:
Score: 100/100
Even in it's slightly modified state, I cannot find one single fault with this car. Downforce and R5's, and I bet I'd come close to the F1 car's cornering prowess. (I think I might try that sometime...)
P.S. 14 hours in, and I'm leading by 2 laps. Should be more, but with the number of mistakes I've made...
Mazda 787B LM Champ '91 enduro tune REVIEW
I know this is one of your most-reviewed cars, but its popularity led me to build it-I just had to see what it was all about. Completely sight-unseen, I built the car and took it to what should be its ultimate test-the 24 Hours of Le Mans, the old version. Four (becoming three) minor changes were made to the original setup:
- R1 tires were fitted at the beginning, but I switched back to R2's at the first pitstop.
- STM was set to 1, as I figured I'd be a bit ham-fisted over the course of the race.
- Downforce was minimized-this plus the R1's gave me a possible 200 A-Spec points.
- Being the black version, I left the oil and chassis the way it came from the car lot.
Score: 100/100
