San Andreas Killing

Most fun I've had is just getting your two or three stars, then hit the street, as cops are chasing you ( cars, trucks, patrolmen ) leave a trail of satchel explosives behind...after you've gon a bit, take them all out...man, what a mess !!! : )

i once had about 25 cars blow up at once, i had 5 stars in the hunter near one of the many freeways in LV, and both lanes were chokeers with cars, big pile up then i shot a heli down and it landed in the middle, such a big explosion, bonnets and wheels went higher than i was fliyin lol. it looked so good.

I had a crack at Otto's Autos - floor is next to the windows unlike at Wang, and there's two streets and a junction's worth of targets.

Only cops came up the stairs behind me. Up the pigging stairs!

I like chadv1's killing spot, sounds pretty good.

I would love to head into Area 69 into that area where Cops don't spawn, and just shoot Rockets at the fence where they do spawn, just to see if they keep spawning. This would be good for someone to try...

thats a nice spot famine, (thats were you and ceaser steal these 2 cars from the 2nd story and jump through the glass) for those that dont know otto's autos.

not really, im not sure if i want to give it away, Oh what the hell, LV airport western side of it, 2 dodos, 2 shamals, 2 more dodos and a levithon all spawn with in close distances of each other, plus the constent police helicopters. and on top of that the 3 fbi ranchers that spwan every few seconds when your near the highway. your lucky im sharing this, its my prized spot :)

theres one spot in area 69 which isn't really a killing spot, just a comedy thing. you go in the side of area 69 where u can steal the tanks and patriot and all the cops spawn on the other side of the fence, about 7 or 8 at times. its hilarious to watch them run at u on the other side of the fence and knock each other down. plus its an easy spot to take out helicopers as news and police helicopters come frequently, i once had 5 choppers in the sky hovering above my head

If you check up 4 posts, that is exactly what I was talking about. It would be good with a Rocket Launcher. Like chadv1 mentioned, the Helicopter buzzing overhead to shoot down, and them being the only things that can harm you (apart from your own Rocket Launcher), it would make for a fairly decent killing spot. The only thing I wonder about is if the Cops keep re-spawning, and how often they do.

yup i was just elaborating your post further, the cops can't hurt you since the fence is like 50 metres high lol. but whats weird is where the chain link fence in one section of the perimeter you can drive through is knocked down, the fbi, police etc still drive past as if there is a solid fence there. you could stand there and they would just drive past crashing into each other

i've found another 2 really good killing spots. one is toreno's house, easy to kill police officers as they don't come inside, and you can easily shoot helicopters at the balcony and if anything gets hasty you can run back inside.

another good place is the burnout building/contruction site on the upper right corner from CJ's workshop in San Fierro. It has a ramp leading upto the building where there are four long and wide window slots where you can easily drop down grenades, satchel bombs etc down onto unsuspecting people and also a great place to just gun down people and snipe others out. if helicopters come to join the party, you can always go left and run out to an open space, fire a rocket and run back in and continue the mayhem from the windows.

I was at both of these locations for about 5 or 6 hours each until i got bored and ran to my save point

if you haven't already, try just driving around a well populated area (the strip in las venturas) in a motorcycle shooting in front of you, and when you get to much heat, take it to the paynspray or one of the many save points on the strip.. maybe not the fastest killing method.. but one of the most fun if you like driving the bikes :)

I just thought I'd post the method I use for killing.

My killing location is on the San Fierro freeway blowing up FBI ranchers. It averages about 2,000 kills per hour but I've managed 2,500. First I get the hunter from the naval base which in doing so I automatically recieve 5 stars. Then I head directly to the freeway starting at the end of the Garver bridge and move very slowly along the freeway to the south, blowing up FBI ranchers as I go. Sometimes I'm lucky enough to get one rancher every 2 seconds but police helis come very often, distracting the killing. If I feel my hunter is too damaged I'll just quickly grab another one from the base. And there is a convienietly placed bribe on the train tracks next to the Xoomer station that re-appears often so it's easy lose the 6th star. And there's also the close by Wang Auto's pay n spray and garage save point to lose the heat.

take a jetpack on top of your hanger at your airstrip and blow stuff up.. you have 2 planes and a helicopter right there and if you fly to the south just past the road, they will respawn.. helicopters come pretty fast and cop vehicles spawn on the road to the east.. also this is one of the spots where i have seen tanks pop way up in the air doing crazy spins and flips.. they usually pop up around the little parking close to where the cop vehicles will spawn (usually has a bunch of freeways parked) and sometimes they'll land halfway down the runway.. there's pretty much always something to shoot a rocket at, you can fill up your garage and hanger with tanks pretty quickly and you have a save point right there

I think I found a pretty fast method earlier today--- its pretty simple but it could use some refining and it appears to be sustainable indefinitely (minus eating). I will do a 10 or 15 minute time trial on it and see what kind of killing rate I'm getting from it--- if its real good I might not share it right away (I might compete in this category yet) but if its similar to the rates previously shared here then I will definitely share.

Ok-- I did a time trial and it wasn't as good as I had hoped for. I did a 10 minute time trial and got 295 kills---this works out to only 1770 kills per hour which is pretty lame by my standards (not even a kill every 2 seconds)

I guess I'll go ahead and share it.

Essentially I copied the method Integra described a few posts ago. Get on a bike and fire ahead of you at LV pedestrians (there are alot of them) but I didn't drive randomly up and down the strip--- I did a specific route that was pretty simple and relatively safe and I did it on a police bike since it has decent speed and is tough (since cars occasionally crash into you.

I used the SMG (MP5). Available at the 4 dragons casino after collecting horseshoes.

My route was simply laps around the 4 dragons casino-- start of in front heading north on the sidewalk, left at corner and I usually stayed on the left side of the road-- at the corner, cross the street and turn left (heading south now)-- you are now driving under a covered area along this street all the way to the corner--- this keeps most police cars from being able to crash into you and the police heli will lose you and fly off--- turn left at the corner (heading east now) and you are under another covered area--- take this back out toward the strip and then curve around back to front of the casino.

I could do either 2 or 3 laps before I got 5 stars--at this point on the next time I drove infront of the casino I would hop off the bike and save--since this save point is easily accessible and fast (don't have to load an interior)-- unlike VC this clears your stars.

To make it easier (so you can concentrate on driving) I taped down the fire button--- so you can easily move when you get off the bike I selected no weapons before I got on-- this will prevent CJ from firing when he hops off the bike.

The only hazards I encountered were occasionally police vehicles blew up and if I was too close the bike caught fire-- you would have to find another bike. If there isn't one around you are best off grabing a nearby vehicle and getting back to a save point to save your progress-- reloading seems to make police bikes spawn so you might want to do that to get a new bike.

Occassionally a police bike will get on your tail and keep shooting at you. You would be best to try and lose him or turn around and shoot him.

Thats it...... its kind of fun and I've only done about 1100-1200 kills with it so far so I'm not too tired of it yet.

i have another method that is similar.. instead of using a bike and shooting, grab a tank.. get 5 stars, start vigilante mission and do a couple.. there is a police bribe close to the road on the east side of the street... drive around running people over and hitting fbi ranchers, and when you get to 6 stars go get the police bribe.. also, avoid using your turret after you get 5 stars

Doesn't the Rhino catch fire pretty fast in SA-- I haven't driven it since I got 100% but I did a few short sprees in it before 100% and it wasn't too durable-- the fires from the blown up cars tend to cause a fair amount of damage to it and fire is the Rhino's one weakness.

Do the vigilante levels you do at the start build up the armor on it some (in addition to the double damage allowed after 100%)?? HOw many levels do you do and how long have you had it (the Rhino) last-- this might be a pretty good method if you can get it to last a while (at least 1/2 hour)-- Rhino rampages are fun too 👍

I'll probably give this a try-- I know where a fair amount of bribes are in LV.

Good (killing) idea... 💡

it does blow up a lot faster than the rhino in VC does, but if you do 3-5 vigilante missions when you start smoking you should be fine for a good while.. i believe other tanks hitting your tank causes more damage than anything else... i messed around a bit with this and found that if you hit other tanks (not head on) and push them around, etc.. you can blow them up pretty quickly (with no noticible damage to your tank)... my record for longest chase time with 5 stars was done in a rhino (89 minutes or so)

in San Andreas i found the tanks are pretty indestructible but fire gets to it much like it does to a normal car, i ran out of rockets trying to blow up one tank, but i used a flamethrower with just 15 "flames" i guess and it blew it up, so Mike Toreno's hideout is a good place because you can stay in there, and when tanks come just pu the flamethrower out the door and set everything alight

I tried your tank method Integra-- It wasn't real fast (it actually took a long time to get up to 5 stars) but it was pretty easy. I really wasn't concetrating on killing peds/cops (so that was part of my problem) and instead just kept chasing down the criminals (just doing the vigilante and letting the destruction unfold around me)-- of course the cops were constantly getting in my way and I did drive on the sidewalk whenever I could.

Its a pretty fun method (I haven't done a good long tank spree in a long time)-- my kill total is about 11,700 now.

I don't know if most of you are aware, but when on vigilante your wanted level takes longer to raise (especially the higher levels)-- so you can stay at 5 stars quite a while -I even fired my rockets alot--not constantly- and was blowing up the ranchers/criminal with it mainly (rather then crash into it)--- there are quite a few bribes near the LV strip and this area is probably the easiest to navigate in the entire game-- I really wish they had a health meter for vehicles...

Also I did note that in the early levels of vigilante, they give you plenty of time in the tank but when your total time gets up to about 8 to 10 minutes they cut down the award time so your time doesn't accumulate.

I ate once by ending vigilante, saving to clear my stars and then just drove up to a burgershot and ran inside--

Does anyone know if the amount of time you can go without eating is fixed and if so, what is it?? This might be something to research???

for the tank rampaging.. i didn't start the vigilante mission until i already had 5 stars, otherwise it takes waaay too long..

if i'm rampaging in LV in the tank i usually use the snack machine right next to the airport (north side, east of hospital)

i dont think it is.. however i have no idea how it works.. my record for longest time with 5 stars (89 something minutes) was done without eating, or getting a message saying he was hungry.. but other times i'll have to eat ever 20-30 minutes... keep in mind that this is doing the exact same thing.. with pretty much no fat or muscle (accidentally left the game unpaused all night and never felt the urge to get it back up)

on a side note.. the triathalons seem easier when you have no fat/muslce opposed to full muscle with about 1/4 fat.. it kinda makes sence.. turn CJ into a kenyan and you get almost infinite stamina

This is off topic but-- has anyone beat the triathalon that ends in LV-- I get smoked on the run.

I passed the one that ends in SF-- but had to cold **** the guy that passed me at the end and only barely beat him by cutting the corner (across the grass) and he stayed on the road.

Maybe we need to experiment with different muscle/fat combos and just see how long CJ can stand there (or sit in a tank) and not eat to get an idea which is most efficient-- if we do this we need to be methodical and divide the meters up by 1/4s-- just doing it in quarters would require 10 different time trials---

I am betting that no fat and no muscle would be the most efficient-- just feed him some salad right before the trial.

I'm going to go ahead and start a thread for this--- I hope some of you find the time to contribute--- remember to feed CJ right before you start your trial and don't do anything-- just sit in a car or tank--- or do a tank spree and don't die or get busted--make sure you time it accurately-- stopwatch or something-- if you pause your game make sure you pause your watch too.

I've only tried it once. I had difficulty keeping up with the other guys during the cycle part because I kept running out of energy every few seconds. I won the swim easily though. I hit the top of the strip in 3rd or 4th place and finished 8th of 9 because everyone else easily passed me apart form some poor sucker who probably crashed off a cliff early in the race.

I beat the Santa Maria "Beat the ****" first time. I built up so much time during the cycle race that even though I was hopeless during the climb up Missionary Hill, I was that far ahead by that stage that I won easily enough.

I too would like to know what's a good muscle/fat combo for the Palomino Creek race. I kept running out of energy while on bike and foot far too often.

Evidently you can't say C*ck on here-- I thought that was only a bad word if you added sucker to it or depending on the context that you use it.
