How about I do two and BB does two? Then we have some uber generic category for the fifth one.

And Doug I don't know if you saw the pictures of the guy autocrossing a Noble M400 or not. For some of us we have more money then brains. The guy with the Caprice wagon was amazing with it, we were calling him "the wheelman" by the end of the day.

Could you guys PM me the categories so I can edit the first post, when you figure out who is choosing what.

I'll let Joey have the honours of making up this week's categories. That way, i can participate too :) Or is that against the rules?

I don't see why it would be against the rules, I'm going to be busy this week anyway (I'm starting on an archaeological dig) so I don't think I'm going to see a ton of cars. But here and I'll PM you Boz.

1.) Want to be Sporty Car: Any non-modified car that is trying way to hard to be a sporty car when it's clearly a pig in acceleration and can't turn with a dang.

2.) Ugliest Color on a Car: This can either be on a modified or stock car but show me the ugliest color one can possibly paint a car/truck/SUV.

3.) Vehicle that Demonstrates Excess: Let's try this one again, anything that shows excess, really low or lifted, huge rims, etc. This car will more then likely be modified.

4.) Worse Crash Damage on a Still Driving Car: Any vehicle still driving with crash damage.

5.) Dirtiest Vehicle Pretty self explanatory.

Hopefully these won't be overly hard, the crash damage is the only one I think people might have an issue with.

Good resolution - thanks Bubble Bunny - and for the record it would be really complicated if each person picked two categories, since the winners would have to each choose new winners, separately.

4.) Worse Crash Damage on a Still Driving Car: Any vehicle still driving with crash damage.

Oh, I've got a good one... I just have to hope that lady is working when I am one of these days. She is actually using a wooden shelf to work as the rear tail-gate of her Chevrolet Astro...

Hooray! Good categories this week. :)

I'll have me camera with me most of the time.

First one should be easy - just find anything American. :P

5.) Dirtiest Vehicle Pretty self explanatory.

Ha! That one's mine! I'll just use our Pug 306, after the muddy rain we had last week, and let it stand a little below the Bunkalach trees near our house. In three days I'll have a vehicle dirtier than the dirt on it... We should do "Messiest Interior" sometime, too ;)

Ya that's what I figured, I mean everyone can get their own car dirty.

I'll put this up for now. Might be able to find something even worse.

I hope it's obvious, but this is a possible entry for the 'Dirtiest Vehicle" category.
If I were able to find a single vehicle that fits one or more categories, could I enter it in more than one category?

Yup it's to your advantage to enter as many as you can.

On my camera, wherever my sister put it after she "borrowed" it, is a picture of a BMW 525 from Wisconsin (in Toronto) and a red Lamborghini Gallardo.

Oh well, moving on.

Possible entry for a Vehicle that Demonstrates Excess. An Excalibur Limo. Or Zimmer. One of the two crappy convert-a-cars.

Nah - I didn't get any over this weekend so have probably missed out.

Story of my life really...

Okay, here are my entries for this week. Doesn't look to be too much competition - come on, people!!

WANNABE SPORTY CAR
scavenger-051107-3.jpg

I considered a photo of a Saab 9-5, but this was better. Extensive bodykitting, but it didn't even have a modded exhaust. And we all know how decidedly un-sporty a Cavalier is.

UGLIEST COLOR
scavenger-051107-7.jpg

scavenger-051107-1.jpg

Taking advantage of the rule that it's to my benefit to enter multiple photos, here's two of the ugliest colors I personally have ever seen on cars. The top is a GMC Sierra registered to a company which evidently paints their vehicles an ugly shade of green; the bottom one is probably the uglies, but I'm leaving it to Joey to decide.

VEHICLE DEMONSTRATING EXCESS
scavenger-051107-5.jpg

scavenger-051107-4.jpg

I considered entering my Murcielago Roadster spot, but I decided it wasn't excessive - just really freaking awesome. Both of these vehicles demonstrate excess in the way that Colorado can do best - the Tahoe had some of the largest tires I've ever seen (how do you get in?) and the Jeep was so incredibly decked out for off-road use I wondered why it was parked in the middle of the upscale shopping district.

WORST CRASH DAMAGE
scavenger-051107-2.jpg

I thought this one would be hard, but then '98-'04 Intrepid to the rescue!

DIRTIEST VEHICLE
scavenger-051107-6.jpg

scavenger-051207.jpg

Anyone can photograph a dirty SUV, as Slicks did, but these are economy cars caked in the stuff - and the weather has been phenomenally beautiful, so these people had to go to great lengths to dirty their cars.

Anyway - I hope I get some more competition in the yet-to-be-entered categories!

Your Cavalier beats the Hyundai "Coupe" MkII I shot... Definetely less sporty, though none of the two are.

But I reckon I've got a shot tomorrow morning at an extremely dirty Suzuki Baleno.

The sad part is you could buy the Caviler from GM like that, it was a dealer option if I can remember correctly. There are at least 3 of them running around here.

I gotta say... this week's categories were kinda hard for me so i couldnt find much.

But here is my attempt at "wannabe sports car"

A civic with what looks to be a paper-mache bumper

Okay, I'll add my pictures thus far:

WANABE RACER
070510202017cm8.jpg

The stupid stickers, spoilers, hood-scoops, and side-pannels make for a wanabe racer. Particularly when it is so fast with 185 BHP and a four-speed automatic...

EXCESS
070510211030gn4.jpg

The wheels alone are probably worth more than the car...

UGLY COLOR
070510211247hx3.jpg

Okay, so this isn't the best picture. But the "Post-it-Note-Yellow" Maverick is just horrible. Did I mention that it is a Ford Maverick?

Im not sure if this is considered excess. I guess its justifiable if you just got married but two limo's seems pretty excessive to me

Here's my entry to the Dirty Car Category:

entryqm9.jpg

Those specks are bird-****. And it's covered in brownish sand-mud all over it.

If the car is still there, I'll get a high-res shot of it tomorrow morning if you folks need it. It's two blocks away...

More 'Dirty Car' spots, on the theory that 'more is merrier.' These two are the dirtiest cars I've seen in a long time:

Nice shots all!!

I don't understand. The list states that the Non-Sporty Car Category must be a stock car. Like a V6 Mustang or an I4 Hyundai Tiburon. What's with the messed up Cavalier and Grand Am?
And I am going to walk that category anyway. I have a secret weapon.

Well technically the Caviler is a stock car since they were sold by GM looking like that.

It has to be stock? I'll look for a BMW 525i.
