Having driven the car more I still maintain its great fezz, when do you think the first race will be and how will grid position be decided

Check the OP in the Series thread mate, I may bring the dates closer since the tune is being received so well, maybe another week or 2 of testing should be sufficient

I,m going to run the car in Aclass open lobby tomorow night fezz to give it a good run against a600
tuned a class cars. I'll see how hard I can push this thing :)

I second this, it's a brilliant car :)

I was trying to embark upon a long run at Catalunya but after 7 laps the car rolled at the hairpin :odd:

What I managed to find is that: Lift off oversteer becomes more of an issue the longer you run the car for, especially in the last chicane section at Catalunya, however the laptimes hadn't started to tail off before my run was abruptly cut short so I don't really know when the times would start to suffer but it was pretty consistent until then. It is however a bit lazy on the steering inputs at times but I think that's more due to it being FWD than anything but it makes it very predictable and easy to drive :)

I'll do some long runs at Catalunya tomorrow see if I can replicate your issue Tiddy

There is no sudden drop in grip from what I have seen and the car looks like it could do a solid 30 laps before even thinking about changing tyres and refueling, I'm quite pleased about the endurance of the car considering the aggressive suspension setup

Sounds good Hennessey, I might join you

I know you said real life tracks but I took it out on the Alps for 10 laps and Camino for 6 laps. I didn't feel any difference in the way it handled the more laps I was into it. In fact I felt more comfortable taking the turns tighter and kept improving my lap times. It wasn't till about lap 4 that I was finding my groove.
To me, it handles pretty neutral. And a good practice car to start using manual w/ clutch. I run using a controller. Does anyone lift off the accelerator when they hit the clutch and shift? I seem to have it down quick enough where I can hit both buttons at the same time and don't really hear the RPMs rise as I would expect would happen IRL. Or maybe I ain't that fast a shifter IRL.

More good stuff, just keep driving the car whenever you all can over the next few weeks, I'll be doing the same, I'm going to go for a 30+ lap run today on Catalunya to figure out the tyre wear and fuel consumption

Bry I'm using Manual w/ clutch, some cars don't seem to be bothered if you change gear with the accelerator on (The Ford RS1800 loves this!) but I've found the Scirocco likes it up to 3rd gear, after that though you'll need to lift off to be quicker

OK so I've just completed an 11 lap run on Catalunya.

After these 11 laps tyre wear peaked at 5.8% which is quite good, fuel was down to just above 3/4 full.

At no point during this run did the car behave in an oversteer manner, even when I tried to induce oversteer by lifting off the throttle while turning into a corner.

It seems strange that Tiddy gets this, maybe you could elaborate on what exactly is happening when you turn the wheel?

During the Catalunya test my best time was a 2.01.793

It happens for me mostly when I turn into the right hander just before the final chicane, I think I'm just trying too hard around that specific corner, I'll run the car again later and try and replicate what I'm talking about.
