^ No problem! Unfortunately, I don't have either the ePSX, Cheat Engine, or even a Game Shark (I do have my Game Shark, but it's lost within my place...) to do the hacking myself... :indiff:

BT -> Hey Xenn or to those hack-meisters out there, FallenSaintsINC posted this pic on my YT PM aacount:

^ Does it ring any bell? I might suspect this track right here...

I do not have an official name for that point to point track. It starts at the red dot. The white is the road, and the blue is where the person who made the video drove to be able to do 2 laps on the track as that track was originally 2 laps. The green is where the car went after the finish. The lines on this one are a bit shaky as the driver was going extremely fast and it was a bit difficult to keep up with the drawing. If you want, I can crop out the 2nd lap blue line and upload another picture.

Hmm, interesting pictures. Not really sure about the point to point map, but the dart test map is quite interesting.

(Will PM you when I get the chance)

^ Take note that I'm not the one who made the map, it was the guy I quoted from YT. :)

Where did the name 'Lake Springs' come from? Just curious?
^ I made up the name so it can be easily recognised. Read here to get the full explaination. ;)

Something interesting I discovered when I looked into the Japanese versions tracks. It seems a few license test tracks are missing.

This could possibly mean PD was intending to add, or change the license tests for the US and PAL versions, but it didn't seem to happen.

Odd...

The car itself is a hack, cause it can literally go through the walls :P
Yep truely one of the weirdest cars i have ever seen:drool: You don't even need the drive through walls cheat, it does it all! Is it possible to race on the track itself instead of driving it?

Course BG breaks through tracks very easily, I found. Basically, hit any wall, and it takes care of the rest.

I always used to think that Course BG was just part of the license test track that I always found myself questioning about. I always wondered whether when you completed the game you unlocked this huge 'licence test course'. And then I completed the game, and I didn't.

yea that hybrid you had on that save game at your site does it real good because i broke out of rome and was messing around.:dopey: Good job with the hybrid:tup:
Speaking of which PM me because i have something i think you may want to add to your website:D

Well im not sure what you mean by "undriveable", but i do know you can drive the track itself (literally). I don't think you can race on it though. :indiff:

Course BG isn't really a track at all.

It's just placed right next to the car you're driving on the loading screen, to give the illusion you're driving somewhere.

Thats understandable. If only it was a track:indiff: Wish i could get a map of it to.:indiff:

I recall the BG Course is a "generic background" used for the still intro sequence before a 1-player Arcade Race against the AI. You see your car, and then a list of the competition.

Yea it is, like Xenn said it's not really a track at all. By the way can you PM me please?

So i've been looking into this lately, and here's what i've thought so far.

This video here:

I used to think it was Palm Strip. But after seeing it's real name "L_20", it simply isn't Palm Strip. However...

If you look in the International A license menu (Keep in mind, this is the PAL version, it might not be in the NTSC versions), you'll see that "Palm Strip" is mentioned in there, and when you go there, you're taken to Apricot Hill.

Is it possible that Apricot Hill has some connection to Palm Strip?

I dont think so. I think they planned the test to be on the "real" Palm Strip, so they named it that way, but eventually they changed their minds, scrapped Palm Strip and set the test on Apricot Hill. But the name of the test remained the same. Maybe they just forgot or more interestingly they left some "bonuses".

In NTSC is 90% the same name.

Yea i was looking there recently to and i noticed it had the Laguna Seca background, hinting it's not Plam Strip. Frankly imagine it's that hidden drag strip on Laguna Seca and yes i know it has been found out side of Laguna Seca but i think this is supposed to be the "playable" version.

GT2 was rushed, thats why most of the game is messed up like that.:indiff:

This has probably come up before, but one time my brother and I were randomly stuffing around and decided to put the game on a European language. After he got bored with it, I decided to have a look around in GT Mode and found that there's a new manufacturer in the North Town; Vauxhall from the English-language mode has been removed and replaced by Opel.

Here's the catch: I had already completed the Vauxhall Tigra races, but I found the Opel equivalent had not been completed ... is this the answer to the 98.2% glitch?
What region is this?

I believe it's only for PAL users. I've heard of that before. Win everything, which would include Vauxhall instead of Opel manufacturer events. Change the language, and Opel events await. I forget which languages you switch between.

I had it set on english in the PAL version and i still found vauxhall!
