Doesn't they use the "unused gear font" in later GT titles like GT4/GT5? I find it somewhat similar. Only in deep blue color.

It does look similar to it, but I don't think it's the same one in GT4/5.

I just know where i have them, so you didnt need to look for them and subsequently waste your time.

The textures for the cars are layered sprites. You'd have to get the sprites then apply them to the model.

This might have been what the Escort might have looked like in a GT game (obviously with out any race schemes).

hey i found something intersting with my Japanese version of gt2
i converted a ntsc save game file to Japanese to work with my copy of the game and on the arcade mode disk when u choose from road race , time trial or rally
the was also an option for drag race and options though u couldnt select either of them here check this out

If u don't mind me asking how did u convert the save to ntsc to Japanese? i've been trying to this.

yeah il give u a copy of the save its for epsxe its for the Japanese version of gt2
so how do i send it to u ? also when u load it on sthe sim mode disk some of the menus there look funny too but the drag race screen only shows up on the arcade disk do u know if the Japanese version is older then the us v1.0 ? cause maybe theres more of the drag racing remains on the Japanese disk or something ?

If anybody needs it in PSV format. (starnge but true) i know how to convert it

The other great resource by a member of this community (that I know of) is gtcarreviews.com, Parnelli Bones' site.

And welcome to the GT2 forum, 455! Yes, we have our version of the 10 commandments which we call the Acceptable Use Policy (you find a link to it at the bottom of every page). Helps keep things running smoothly here. When you get drunk and post inappropriate things, the AUP lets the mods send you on vacation until you cool off/have learned your lesson...

I think my parents used to get weireded out by the way that I'd go on about strange things like that I'd noticed in video games when I was a kid playing with my PS1.

Those videos of the tracks hidden in the demos were interesting, especially the one with the huge jump!

EDIT: HYBRIDLVR is the one who posted it. I posted a visitor message on his wall and he says he hacked it onto his memory card with a program of some sort. Not sure how but im hoping he will post a save game or at least how he did it. If anyone knows please speak up!

I made a map of this track. I used a program that allowed me to draw on my screen. So I drew on&#65279; my screen while watching the video and I followed the red dot. Then I took a screen cap after.

License Dart Test's turns are pretty much 90 and 180 degree turns, the map is slightly off. I was drawing with a labtop track pad while the video was playing.

Thank you Vanishing Boy, I am loving this site alot and i very much love this game and all the awesome cars and tracks in it, especially the hidden ones.
