No problems :) Is the earliest developed GT2 Demo called Euro Demo 53, right?
No, that's the latest demo. You want Euro Demo 87 for the earliest demo or on the Mcdonalds Demos.

Note: Euro Demo 53 is the demo I used to try the codes you shared; there was no differences between them on that disc and the 2nd demo build. It's a shame, I usually get at least one new model shown on this. Just one more question though, what about the Volkswagen Polo G40?

I saw the car mentioned in this scribble of text that you posted around the bottom right.

Something already discovered but never prooved.. So I'm gonna show you the in-game names of the hidden Lamborghinis/Ferraris/Porsche and their respective codes:

JLOC DIABLO GTR '97 (Code: gtd7r)

RAIN-X DIABLO DL '98 (Code: gtd8r)

STP Taisan Porsche GT2 '97 (Code: gtp7r)

S7_zpshmavnhaz.jpg

Taisan Porsche RSR '99 (Code: gtp9r)

S8_zpsriar6o3s.jpg

They all has [R] Toyota Altezza as placeholder unfortunately.. That means their bodies were not even started

*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.*.

Here 3 cutted interesting Volkswagen cars:

Volkswagen Golf TDI (Code: gv4tn)

S9_zpsty2wad1c.jpg

Again... Altezza placeholder means no finished model.. But his logo is still present inside the demo files:

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Volkswagen New Beetle 1.9 (Code: gvn9n)

S10_zpsnrrgeyxg.jpg

There was going to be another Volkswagen Beetle (no.. Not Beatle).. That never made his way into the final version.. Not even his model is present.. Seems that Kazunori Yamauchi didnt like to have TDI models in GT2 :D

The Volkswagen Beetle 1.9 would have more or less 90hp..

He has a racing modification aswell... Guess what? Another Altezza as placeholder..

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And now.. For RandomCarGuy17.. The last hidden Volkswagen

Volkswagen Polo G40 (Code: gvp4n)

S11_zpsf6brzmhh.jpg

Too bad that only the name has been left...

That's interesting... 👍

The July 2001 issue of Official US PlayStation magazine has a GT2 demo, I'll try to look into it. This one has sounds similar to this demo. EDIT
changed video, this one has the sounds and has the similar looks.
Also, I found a few already discovered beta things, but I slightly felt a bit happy and a sense of slight acheivement.

That's because the demo you're looking at is the same build as the one I was using when recording that video. There are 3 builds of the GT2 demo. Build 1 will have Gran Turismo 1 sound effects and an Audi S4 in class A, Build 2 has updated sounds for the menus and cars with the Lotus Elise replacing the Audi S4, and Build 3 will have laptimes showing up when you race.

As a matter of fact, @Xenn posted a list of demos for each GT2 demo build in his gameshark code thread.

Thanks! That rocks because I always wanted a copy of that demo but I never realized it was the PH demo. Wish it was something new though...

Something new is going to be kinda hard to find at this point; many users here already covered a lot of the secrets within these demo discs.

Here the in-game screens of the two Pagani Zondas... No model :(

Pagani Zonda C12 (Code: gz12r)

z2_zpsg8jrnlhb.jpg

Pagani Zonda C12-S (Code: gz1sr)

z1_zpswdfygeyj.jpg

The C12 would have 394hp while the C12-S would have 550hp.. They made their way just on GT3 (If I remember correctly)

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Here is a cutted Mini model.. I can't find on internet any pics/infos about this car...

Rover Mini 1.3 Euro Edition (Code: brmmn)

rm_zpsmjfmdew3.jpg

He also has a racing modification aswell.. Of course without model

--------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

A really cool Jaguar concept car was going to be in GT2... But what it remains is just the name and the logo:

Jaguar XK180 (Code: bj18n)

rm2_zpssrtrpkud.jpg

bj18nl--_zpspigwxsvb.png

And this is how it was going to look... If finished:

Just imagine if there were no licensing issues with EA. GT2 would be the most amazing game ever with all these cars in it

The only reason why I'd support a "GT2: HD Edition Remix" or whatever is if it had all of this rediscovered cut content put back into the game. Love this thread for finding all of this stuff after all of these years too!

There are a lot of hidden RUF racing modifications that were never implemented into the final game and they never had their model completed:

[R] RUF BTR2: (Code: bub2r)
[R] RUF BTR4: (Code: bub4r)
[R] RUF CTR2: (Code: buc9r)
[R] RUF CTR2 Sport: (Code: buc2r)
[R] RUF Turbo-R: (Code: bucrr)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The Jaguar XJR15 Was going to have a racing modification aswell.. But again was scrapped..

Jaguar XJR15 GT Race Car (Code: bjjrn)
[R] Jaguar XJR15 GT Race Car (Code: bjjrr)

---------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Same happened with the Peugeot 406 3.0 V6 Coupe.. The racing modification of this car was going to look like this probably:

peugeot-406-coupe-silhouette-01.jpg

peugeot-406-coupe-silhouette-03.jpg

[R] Peugeot 406 3.0 V6 Coupe (Code: fp46n)

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

And now.. Here is a car that ended to be a simply racing modification of the Peugeot 406 Sedan but originally was a full race car

Peugeot 406 TOCA Touring Car (Code: fp4tr)

N6_zps4hzuw1ps.jpg

A cutted Lotus Elise car.. I don't have any idea how it was going to look like... No model finished at all.. Not even his racing modification has a proper model

Lotus Elise Trofeo
(Code: ioetn) [R] Lotus Elise Trofeo (Code: ioetr)

N5_zpshayrf7hb.jpg

Uhm.. Sorry to disappoint you but the only McLaren that maybe was intended to be in GT2 is the McLaren SOK GTR.. We can only see the McLaren F1 in a GT2 cover.. But that's it

Yeah, every car Xenn mentioned earlier such as the Mclaren F1 GTR, Ferraris, and Porsches turned out to never have finished models. I tried the later demo with these codes for good measure and still got the same results as SuperFrizzio got. I tried the 1st demo built aswell and well; the game crashed everytime I used a code. :/

RandomCarGuy17, I didnt look at the first demo yet.. But if its crashing its because these cars didnt even have their data/files inside the GT2.VOL...

Razor440, Yeah.. Probably.. Also the Lotus Elise & Lotus Elise 135 (if I remember correctly) were in soft top in my demo

I found another Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VI GSR inside my demo.. It doesn't have any in-game name/logo.. But has a new red colour that wasn't included in the final version and not even in the demo version..

Final Version Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VI GSR (Code: m2g6n)

1_zpshhordice.jpg

Demo Version Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VI GSR (Code: m2g6n)

No plate and no blue colour...

Demo Version, Duplicate of Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. VI GSR (Code: m-nnn)

3_zpsukwo6lvi.jpg

No plate, no Blue colour but have a nice red colour instead...

I really don't know why they kept in my demo two version of the same car.. One with a red colour and the other one without..

------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

Originally the Winfield Lancer Rally Car had its own name and became a racing modification aswell.. Same with the Ralliart Lancer Rally Car..

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. V Rally Car (Winfield) (Code: m2w5r)

Mitsubishi Lancer Evo. V Rally Car (Ralliart) (Code: m2a5r)

L3_zpsxnujbk6z.jpg

-----------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------------

The TommyKaira ZZII & TommyKaira ZZIII originally had racing modifications but they never were created:

[R] TommyKaira ZZII: Code (k2z2r)
[R] TommyKaira ZZIII: Code (k2z3r)

The Lotus MotorSport Elise was going to have a racing modification aswell.. But again was scrapped...

[R] Lotus MotorSport Elise: Code (iomsr)

Fun fact: In the final version the [R] of the Lotus MotorSport Elise became a soft-top Elise

The Red Mitsubishi Lancer Evo VI GSR looks really beautifull! But i think it was deleted because KY wanted to insert the Tommy Makiken Edition?

I found out about these already:

As a matter of fact; all users that are new to this thread should LOOK at my playlist here, I went through the entire Gran Turismo 2 car list and recorded every model I could get my hands on:
https://www.youtube.com/playlist?list=PLEFggSknpsh1DbrFXduE40aDUUWgQ8a5J

Yeah can be.. But this Lancer looks the same as the others one. The Tommi Makinen edition has a big black&white stripe and only came in red..

I remember, however, that in GT3 there are two lancer tommy, the first is without strips, but have some color options...
1zmmtxc.jpg

the second is with the strips, but without color option :)
imm5g0.jpg

I thought so, because I have seen how the Zonda will be not present in GT2 ... and then find themselves in GT3, then did the same thing to the Lancer.

Yeah you are right.. Now I remember that the duplicate of the Lancer Evo. VI of the GT2 Demo shares the same colours option as the Lancer Tommi Makinen edition in GT3 & GT4.. So it could be!

Yeah.. But I'm mostly showing the in-game names of all of the "hidden" cars of my demo, like the Paganis, Lamborghinis, new Volkswagen, ecc.. Also I'm showing some new cars like hidden racing modifications and cars that has a completely new code that I never seen before on internet like the Volkswagen Beetle 1.9 or the Golf TDI

I know that you are, but other people coming into this thread aren't completely aware of the things that have been shown, I just wanted to give them a heads up on what has been discovered already. You just keep up the in-game names showcase that you have been doing.
