Despite how close it was, I still lost .2 or .3 in the last sector by braking too late and carrying excessive speed into the first apex of the chicane. At least this week it seems I can get away with a bit of laziness by having the best car

lobby servers have been effing me ever since the last patch...
GR Brock... wish I could have given you an actual race, but 4s behind on lap 1 and no draft meant I wasn't going to catch you. I tried for a while but then just cruised after the pits.
I'll try re-installing GT and finish out the season... but my heart's not in it anymore after getting my best 2 races shat on by GT Servers.

First off, I apologize to everyone for, well... for pretty deplorable driving on my end. I was sure I braked a little early going into T1 but everyone ahead slowed down even more. I know I banged into Dom, so I tried giving him some room, but then I got bounced around like a ping-pong ball all the way to the exit. I was about to pull over and ask for a restart, but I didn't think anyone would listen.
The next few laps were pretty much a disaster, especially T1 where I couldn't understand why my brakes were non-existent until I all but crawled through there just to avoid any more contact. Decided to pit really early just so I can get away from everyone else, and not have anymore incidents. That actually played in my favor big time and I got around everyone except Tim. Thought I had a shot at him, but his tires were so new compared to mine.
Then the GT servers pretty much screwed him out of 2nd. All I can say is that I've been there way too many times, and it's not right at all. 👎
Ugh, I just want to forget what happened today and move on. If my driving heads down the same road at Motegi, I'm just going to pull into the pits and park it.

Does anyone have a screenshot or replay for race statistics?
Guess it was just a bad combo. I was fast with the SLS everywhere except the last one, which is really the only clean passing zone. It was real hard trying to stay on ur tail through the first two sectors without running u over so I somehow set up the overtake on the straight. Unfortunately, Moo Cow was too sluggish for that.
I'm certain next time will be much cleaner. No AWD launch advantage and the first corner comes fast.
As for results, out of town atm. If no one puts up anything by Wednesday, I will. 👍
