Although I didn't do particularly well, I thoroughly enjoyed that race! Thanks for a brilliant race guys :)

Results already updated. Best lap (and additional point for fastest lap) coming soon.
Great racing guys. I think it's now the time for me to buy a wheel, i feel so slow and dirty with my DS3 :(.

And Welcome Motoraza

EDIT: Standings fully updated now.

Thanks Will 👍

How did the race play out after the technical issues?
Sony is doing maintenance this week so hopefully we'll see an improvement from this one, as they usually see saw.

Well, for me, much better than I hoped, all I wanted was one top 3 so 2nd with 4th place pace is nice. I was much more consistent than my past races.

Timeattack had a great jump off the line and got got w-g-e who had a bad start.

Lap 1 was a messy to say the least. I think everyone had fenders dinged. The doctor got hit entering the hairpin. I was dinged. Outlaw4rc and w-g-e got tanged on corner exit giving me second.

After that some good battles in the field well Timeattack and I ran away. He was gaping me steadily and I was outside the draft before the end of lap 1. I was in the very high 58s to low 59s.

For the last 7 laps I pulled back and just focused on finishing. Some how Outlaw and w-g-e came back for 3rd and 4th running low 58s.

Thanks Will 👍

For me:

The start was a big surprise. wge got a poor start, but Brock SOMEHOW got that ZR1 to get off the line like it was nothing. We were in a sammich into one, with Brock taking the lead with me taking 2nd. Great, that's exactly what I needed except I was off the racing line through all of S1, leaving the inside open at the hairpin. No problem. I'll just give wge room and hold the spot on the outside.

Then, blam! One of my rears locked up as though something in the car broke, and there I went fighting for control. It wasn't too bad, but then wge hit me on the rear quarter panel and we both went into the grass. Pretty much handed the race over to Brock. From there on, I did all I could to not run people over (incredibly hard when my car was better through the corners) and I crashed myself out twice trying not to hit Tim (ended up sideswiping him anyway the first time). Somehow ended up 4th, but that pretty much ended whatever slim hopes I had for winning in this series. Frustrating because both wge and I could match Brock's pace so we had a shot today. :(

Sounds like Brock tree'd your asses.
And you guys thought drag racing wasn't related to circuit... :P

I guess most of the ACRs were burned at Laguna, but I did expect 1 or 2, given its great pace and reliability at GVS. Wish I coulda showed you guys... :D

Wge said post-race that he appeared on track right at one, so he was at a big disadvantage.

Something tells me the racing gods are repaying Brock for all his struggles in Triplets. :sly:

No, his left foot is listed by the IIHS as a form of traction control.

I gave the ACR a shot but its gear ratio is really a pain.

He was WOT at the start, so it's not that.

wge and I did some laps at Suzuka. Boy, am I going to get destroyed here. He ran a 2:09.3, with a crushing 57.5xx Sector 1, and a really bad last sector. I can't even run five laps without wrecking the Italia.

With the ACR Viper, what is the pp and bhp supposed to be? The OP says 572 hp and 572 pp, but this isn't the case on Gran Turismo :s

ACR: 566PP, as long as it is 566PP you are OK. Make sure to break the car in full as it's faster with 200 miles on it.

After the 2.10 update the PP got mixed up, the OP never updated the image link.

Thanks very much!

Just gave the ZR-1 a go. I'm lacking control on corner entry. 10.160 was the best I got. I'm still looking at the ACR as a safer choice.

I wouldn't consider the Vette over the Viper on anything other than really high speed tracks. The Viper has too much more grip.

The Murcielago may prove well here if anyone has one left. Loose car for the tight track.
458 is proba ly prime choice, expect a field of them.

As for the LFA, what I'll say is that if Adam or Tony strolls in here wanting to join up and asks which car is the best one for Suzuka, I'll point to the Lexus.
