If anyone notices any changes after this server downtime please post your findings here, as I'm sure everyone would rather that P.D. inform its users that there's an imminent disconnection due for slight changes to Sport Mode and the like....

It wouldn't be too bad if it was just the online lobbies & sport mode that went "offline", but to basically take saving out of the equation is unacceptable. It would make sense to be able to spend time on photo's & liveries whilst the online lobbies & sport mode were unavailable. I mean who wants to do arcade racing when any money gained will not be recorded...

And while we're on subject, server is down for me & this is rubbish because I've been looking forward to going on GT Sport all day. :/ Hopefully PD/Kaz see's that nobody is happy about the 'Save only if online' thing & it changes. & hopefully down the line, we'll be able to play the campaign offline too.

I'd be happy even rinsing out Arcade mode if I knew I was making a slight bit of money & increasing my rank so it seems saving offline is the biggest issue for me at the moment...

Perhaps if they saved the server maintenance for when it was at 5am in the UK they would affect fewer players throughout the world. At 3am Tokyo time it is prime time UK and afternoon in the U.S.A.

Fix the Collector's Edition bonuses like the safety car pack and let us get access.
Then go for server maintenance.
Also have you ever thought that moment after years, when PD will shut down the servers we will not be able to do anything.
Let us offline saving please LOL.
After 7-10 years GTS will be nothing and the era will end.
But like my Ps2 I use to play until today.

I am still on campaign even though my progress will not be saved. Pf..
After finishing a test ot tries to reconnect (fails) and I just continue.

Edit: It's ok now but I bet it will disconnect again

2 hour maintenance at peak hours (at least in Europe... it's now 19h00 and people are coming home from work / school.

with the beta i was ok with the downtime as that is where betas are for. But this shouldnt happen in the full game.

I think they really need to start working on a patch that allowes offline saving or fix there servers.

You know what folks, GT Sport would be ten million times better if it didn't require an Internet connection at all times to play it. It's already a great game, but my only problem is that we should be able to save any offline features actually OFFLINE & to play/access any offline features, OFFLINE. It would be acceptable if they added Online Save to Sport Mode only. Because that's online anyway. That's my only issue with GT Sport. I really really do hope Kaz can see that mostly none of us aren't happy about this. Because when the servers are down, the game becomes useless.

I'd JUST got a gold in the first rally license too. Is it safe to play? Took me half hour to get that dont want lose that GOLD! EVERY time I shaved a hundredth off my time it went through the same INSULTING loop. It should NOT say your network is at fault when PSN is clearly LOGGED IN. It should say WE ARE REALLY SORRY FAULT IS AT OUR END. Your call is very important to us etc etc. THEN allow a manual save which could be synced when their servers up again. I mean geesh this is 2017 syncing has been around for over a decade!
