Are they dead serious? Server maintenance with 1 hour prior notice

2 hour maintenance at peak hours (at least in Europe... it's now 19h00 and people are coming home from work / school.

Two hour maintenance during European prime time. Are they having a laugh. PD trolling like only PD can. They are utterly clueless.

It says PDT so it would be dawn-early morning for most of Europe.

Eh, I dunno, peak time over here would likely be between 4-8pm rather than 9-11pm, Especially on a Thursday.

That would be the case if there was the same amount of people everywhere. Priority should be given to the hours that affect less people (hence peak hour worldwide). On top of that it's strange becuse in Japan it's already late.

Unless this was an emergency, I don't get it.

Very true.
The most players are in Europe, followed by US.
I would think the "best" time to not affect the most players would be midnight EST, early morning across EU.

I wonder if the black screen is their version of a screen saver. The only button on my DS4 thst does anything is the PS button.

To me the game is bugged and not letting me reconnect, if i press the reconnect button it says "You must be connected to the server in order to proceed" instead of trying to reconnect. Then I can just press "Ok" and it never tries to reconnect.

Back up for me too. Imagine if GT4 was online only, & you just completed Mission 34 only for it to say 'You need to connect to the server to save progress'. I wouldn't know whether to laugh or cry.
