Not technically what this thread was designed for, but it's full of win anyway;

Good choice, Jodie :D

It doesn't suit the car. In a rod like that most would expect a gleaming block, something that catches your attention.

Well the same can be said about the brand. Volvo is known for being safe, not for performance. I think it works just fine.

I like the engine as well. It's obviously meant to look new and retro at the same time.

Here is one original ÖV4 btw.

What has performance or safety got to do with it? Hot rods are mainly about looks (these days at least) and opening the bonnet to find that vacuum-like lump is a bit of a let down in my opinion. I would of tried to use an engine similar to the one in the original OV4.

Not sure if it's sexy (although as a drag racing fan, I think it is) but it's definitely mean.

V8 hotrods are a dime a dozen around here. I would ride that Volvo one and proudly show off the engine...

Oh, and that Olds is hot, and pro stock is the best. Love watching them at Infineon, great fun.

BLASTFULL of cool pics.

OK, I recall this post because of how well done the pictures are, the cars are OK but the guy illuminating them knows what he's doing. Could learn a few things off him.
