I think I just fell in love with that red S30Z :D

Oh, in case somebody was wondering what it sounds like, here it is:

Same car, just with a bigger rear wing and some other aerodynammic parts.

I've been back to this thread about 20 times today to look at that Exige... it is simply one of the best looking cars I've ever seen.

Just stunning đź‘Ť

It's even right hand drive... I wonder if they fancy a 996 in part-ex?

any idea/link/whatever on how that Subaru picture was achieved Exige? It looks impressive.

On another note, I remember seeing this cobra appear on some GTP thread unfinished, but now it's done and in this month's Hot Rod:

custom-supercharged V12 Mercedes:

Also, I'll slip this Willys in, can't go wrong with full-60s gasser stuff.

this is my new desktop:

This whole page is incredible!

Cano: I need to send you some pics of my dad's 55' Gasser, but you may have already seen it in last August's Hot Rod Magazine.

That man is full of win in my books. That car was meant to be driven and I'm glad it finally belongs to someone who realizes that.

mmmh... what was it? I've missed a frew issues as the mag is not easy to find here and I haven't renewed my subscription. Either way, dude, send them over!!! I love those things. Or link me if it's on Hot Rod's website.

The very rare 400GT Monza. It's a bit bizarre that her original owner acquired her & then kept her garaged for 35 years. But, her new owner has issued her to be recommissioned & has no plans to put it in a museum or become a garage queen.

Is this the thing that was found languished in Spain?

EDIT: Oh, just realized the link after all the pics. It is, indeed. Awesome car.

Looks like infamous white F50 in Japan is now for sale.

I wonder if Mr. Aoyama will be selling anything else out of his collection.

And R8 & DB9 thrown in for sexiness as well.

Man I seriously LOVE gassers. I went to the Holly Nostolgia Car show and Drag Races in Bowling Green a few years back, and that's when I discovered 'Two Lane Black Top' which I think is my favorite I've ever seen..

I've got more pics if required. :)

He broke the clutch we think last weekend driving it so that will need to be sorted out haha.

oh %/¡"$#!!! Is that really your dad's??

I remember reading ab0ut it in a friend's issue (I don't have it) and both saying that it was THE TITS. Man, yes, more pics!!!

Heck, If I go to California I'll hook you up to make a photoshoot of the car for the mag. It may happen this year or the next. I also see you know Larry Fator. Man, I'll be in touch.

EDIT: Man, after reading again and studying the pictures, give your dad a hug. He really nailed the retro vibes. No color AN fittings, no billet brackets, no braided fuel lines/hoses, tunnel ram, blue glass, vette wheel, and heck, that helmet. And the wheels are absolutely perfect.

If it were mine I'd just toss the inner fender panels, install a moon foot pedal and maybe radius the rear wheelwell openings... and maybe, just maybe, go with a more extreme tint on the glass, but that is just nitpicking. The car is freaking amazing.

Video?

Thanks for the good words, I'll make sure he reads this. :)

Upon further investigation we found that its not the clutch and in fact its the trans. Multiple broken gears. Dad really likes full noise powershifts. :sly: I'll try and gets some pics of that too.

More pics as I find them! Maybe I'll make a video when we fix the trans.

Insane. The glass loooks more vivid in these pics. Please make a video once you fix the trans, I'd love to see and hear, omg yes hear this thing boiling some rubber!

Perfect headers also, and white. Again, very correct.
