I think this is the best DLC I'v seen and am very happy its vintage race cars b/c they're my favorite. I just have one concern as to why so few games lack the vintage trans-am race cars. I mean Shift, GT5, and Forza 3 all have alot of the classic cars, but where the heck is the Camaro 67-69(preferable the 67' ) and AMC race cars?? I just think it would be proper to include all the early trans-am cars together since there is only like 5 differnt models.

Probably because they wanted a balanced car list that appealed to a wide international audience. The variations of trans-ams you mention are mainly relevant to Americans I guess.

Having Panic attacks now, not knowing whether the PSN will be back up and running by Tuesday/Wednesday, I hope it is. :nervous:

Panic attacks?

Just a figure of speech from myself.

Not really having them, Info is below.

Panic disorder is a type of anxiety disorder in which someone has repeated attacks of intense fear that something bad will occur when not expected

Really didn't have much of an interest in getting S2U, TBH. But now...whoa man.

If they ever did a second Legends Pack, here's what I'd like to see:
Cars:
-'69 Chevrolet Camaro Z/28
-'70 Ford Mustang Boss 302
-'71 Lotus Europa
-'80 Lancia Montecarlo Gr. 5
-'72 Lamborghini Miura P400SV
-'70 Datsun 510
-'78 Toyota Celica LB Turbo Gr. 5
-'72 BMW 2002tii
-'74 Lancia Stratos HF
-'62 Aston Martin DB4 GT
-'75 Chevrolet Cosworth Vega
-'75 Jaguar XJ12C
-'66 Honda S800
-'67 Mazda Cosmo Sports
-'76 DeKon Chevrolet Monza
-'68 Mercedes-Benz 300SEL 6.3
-'67 Toyota 2000GT

Tracks:
-AVUS (1959)
-Riverside International Raceway (1970)
-Fuji Speedway (1966)
-Spa-Franchorchamps (1972)
-Laguna Seca (1976)
-Kyalami (1971)
-Österreichring (1977)

because for PC there are already 20934820948 mods... so nothing to complain about

Did you read the thread? People already replied the DLC is coming for Shift 2-PC. Go back a few posts. And no, there is not 20934820948 mods out for Shift 2-PC

Time to really give up on PC gaming. I regret getting Shift 2 on PC but not on PS3. Besides this DLC the PC version crashes a lot and online is a ghost town.

On the brighter side I no longer have to upgrade my GPU every year.

Personally I've only had 1 lockup in the many hours I've played. From what I've read, the console versions are way more unstable. Maybe you have a different setup than me though? I'm using a nvidia 560 ti and windows vista. Also from what I understand, the ps3 version is a ghost town? There's a thread called 'Online emptyness' about this and I assume they refer to ps3

I like the PS3 version very much so far (hope, the handling of controller input is somewhat improved for DS3 users, while realism is not impacted negatively).
I am eagerly awaiting the legends DLC - was a big fan of GTL back then.

I like the PS3 most, as I don't have a PC at the moment and don't intend, to run a windows install on the Mac.

I miss mostly the better graphics and very, very much the fantastic mods, the PC version allows - no one being mods, that give you real racing car skins over the fictional NFS skins.

No way is there a reason, to be jealous on PS3 racers, when running S2U on a PC ;-) It's just more convenient with less hassle, that's all.

The only information I get from this link is that one of the comments quotes a part from the statement what @p00ky was quoting in his post with ^ link in it but I can't find the entire statement on that website.

"Although on April 26th the Legends pack will only be released on Xbox 360 & PlayStation 3 we haven't forgotten about our PC community. Stay tuned for more news regarding the Legends pack becoming available on PC..."

it's not that I don't believe what people are quoting but ....yea.... :-)

I'm still 🤬 AMAZED that ANY developer/publisher would put in Rouen, and EA at that. And they included TWO versions of Rouen? What is this world coming to?

I'm getting Shift 2 for sure now.

Just look, where the guys come from, who are involved in doing S2U and what they did in the past!

Some have been started, to show their first work in modding the old EA F1 titles for PC with brilliant GT cars and tracks back then!

RFactor didn't exist and most modding, to get to drive real GT racers had to be done in some of the older PC titles.

I think, it is a fantastic marketing decision on EA's behalf, to contract SMS with their background, to lift the (in my book) lost NFS series on a new level (critics of the new title regarding obvious issues aside).

Assuming that the PS Network is back up so we can get to the store :grumpy:

“A source with close connections to Sony Computer Entertainment Europe reports that the attack to the PlayStation Network may be a bit deeper than originally reported by Sony. According to the source, who wishes to remain anonymous, the PSN sustained a LOIC attack (which created a denial-of-service attack) that damaged the server. There was also a concentrated attack on the PlayStation servers holding account information. In addition, “Admin Dev accounts were breached.”

As a result, “Sony then shut down the PSN and [is] currently in the process of restoring backups to new servers with new admin dev accounts.” The SCEE source said Japanese servers may be restored tomorrow while the U.S. and E.U. servers will likely be operational the following day. ” ps3tribe.it

so no.. i don't think we can get the dlc on 26.

Grand Prix Legends had Rouen, if only because Papyrus couldn't get the license for Le Mans Bugatti Circuit (which is where the '67 French Grand Prix was actually run).

psn not working, non dlc for ps3 users. This is the first time i need the psn since i've the ps3 and it's not working.. T_T

PSN asia (HK) here - it is not visible in the Playstation online store.
Once, I try, to log in, I get this:

"Site Maintenance Notice

The server is currently down for maintenance.

We apologize for the inconvenience. Please try again later.

I'll bet no PSN until friday so no dlc until then. I'd like to be wrong on this one...

Backups take quite a awhile to restore if done from tape and I can imagine the size of PSN...

only guys with 360 can access the dlc, psn is down.. so on ps3 there is no way to get it until they restore the psn.. i hope in this week.

Looks like I'll be using my 360 for this. This is going to get weird; I've got the PS3 for everything else (concerning Unleashed) and the 360 for any and all DLC. :odd:

Why cant they release the files online so we can just put them on a USB and plug that into the PS3 to install them? Anyone at SMS or EA have a brain?
