The sliding stops when the tires are properly warmed up. You can tell very clearly in e.g. the Lotus Exige invitational:
first lap --> lots of sliding.
second lap --> better grip.
next three laps --> tons of grip, no more sliding.

I think that in most GT1 races cars start with relatively warm tires.

👍

Funny, it was always on lap 4 or 5 that I made he mistake that caused me to loose! That must have been the pressure then.

I'm pretty frustrated right now. I can't get my Xbox connected to my computer properly, to share the internet connection - the PS3 is the same :indiff:
I don't have much time to play right now, anyways.

So when is the PS Store supposed to be up? I guess that means if you bought the game for the PS3 you ain't getting the new car pack?

noone knows probably a week or even more seeing recent problems. Ps3 users can do nothing, not even autolog.

Sony just announced that PSN has been properly hacked and personal data of 70 million people has been stolen and the first services might be coming back up in a weeks time. So no legends pack for us happy PS3 owners. I guess it's time about thinking of switching to Xbox as much as I used to not like it.

Itching for a ban an infraction, are you?

no dlc now, but we'll have it in few weeks.

First piece of DLC I've wanted to buy all year and of course PSN is down. My luck. I love the lack of advertisements and distractions on the tracks, it's going to be amazing when I actually get a chance to try it. I could never get GT Legends running on my pc (even though I own the disc, OS issues) and this is the closest I can get... Come on Sony!

Yeah you could be rash and do that, or you could be sensible and just wait a week like everyone else.

I'm interested why would I get banned? For posting on forums?

We're not supposed to start XBox vs PS3 arguments. And we're not supposed to post off topic. You're 2 for 2!

Rouen and the Mk1 Escort has me rather happy I got it.

And as has been said - keep it on topic.

Scaff

I can't 🤬 buy this on LIVE. Something is wrong the card I have on my account.

Dammit.

Oh sorry, I meant infractions. (changed original post also)

& Off topic is off topic and has nothing to do with SHIFT 2 Legends DLC.

I was just saying that by the looks of it unfortunately we won't be getting this DLC, which I was very much looking forward to, any time soon.

Regarding PS3/Xbox thing - I didn't mean to start a war. It's just something I've been thinking about for a while. But, anyway, that's off topic.

So, apologies for being a bit off topic :)

Sony have given a one week timeline for getting PSN back online as of my writing (April 26). Let's say they botch it and take twice as long. Either way, PS3 owners ARE getting this DLC soon. You're acting like the PSN is dead forever and EA has pulled the DLC.

I can wait for this DLC, I have a $20 PSN card on standby.

I REALLY want to try out the 2000GT-R and the 3.0 CSL. BADLY!

I love the GTR i have it maxed out with no engine swaps or turbos and i love the way it revs and sounds. I also drove the alfa romeo and it handles really good as well

THAT MEANS YOU SHOULD JUST WAIT! Unless you're planning on getting it for PS3 also ;)

According to the first reports, all the cars in the Legends pack cost 0 credits. No need for lots of extra bonuses! :dopey:

Congratulations for that, it takes a simple logic to do what masterminds of Turn10 transformed into eternal 100+ hours horror.

Actually, I would have preferred, if the cars would be priced reasonably, new challenges would have been added, to earn money and buy these cars.

This indeed is factor, I really love about GT series games.
You have to earn money first, to be able, to afford to drive or even tune a car.

Having all cars waiting for you, to be driven at will always made them quickly less interesting to me.

Anyway, I am looking forward to the tracks and especially the Porsche 911s, the Skyline and the Z.
I really hope, Shift 2 takes off and get's popular, it's a great software.

I just heard, that my racing seat will be arriving this Saturday, so it is racing weekend then with Shift 2 with or without DLC ;-)

Problem is that you have to grind a lot to upgrade 1 car you can't use every where and many are for just for one event and the Ferraris you can't even use... 👍

And if you think of the price for games on consoles, they even should give us the DLC... but hey, at least this one SEEMS to be cheap. Let's see how much is in euros after PSN goes LIVE (pun intended :D )

For those with a PS3 (like me) here's a quote from the Playstation blog:

Update: Due to ongoing work to bring PSN back online there will be no scheduled content publish this week for PlayStation Store or PS Home. We will resume our scheduled publishing as we bring services online again.

So 1 more week for us to get our hands in the oldies...

Heh. After this PSN crap? No thank you..unless I buy a pre-paid card, in which case "Yes!".

Pre-paid cards is the only way to go.

When i used play my 360 i would use MS Points cards all the time.I just didn't feel safe putting my card information on a gaming system.
