Yes, but it drops later as if when you really lose the steering instead of losing the front just because. Plus you get a stronger FFB. So I 'd say its a welcome improvement and one that add to realism. No car has grip "ad aeternum".
At least its the way it works for me. Also, the floating feel to cars is greatly reduced with Lotus Exige S the being the very first example. I can beat it 5 times in a row with hard AI after the patch ( I could've done more tries but i got bored)
I myself am noticing no increase in FFB after restoring my settings. It feels exactly the same as it did prior to the patch for me.
Even if the FFB was dropping later when you lose the front end, now that we've seen how good the patch can actually make it, we're still just accepting something less than what it could actually be. Hopefully they can patch the patch now and fix the FFB loss issue with the Logitech wheels.
